HERBOLOGY: ALL HOGWARTS LEGACY PLANTS AND TABLES

HERBOLOGY: ALL HOGWARTS LEGACY PLANTS AND TABLES

Herbology is one of the professions that we can do at Hogwarts Legacy and the truth is that it is very useful since it will allow us to get lots of plants that of course we are going to need for other things .

From the creation of potions (the truth is that there are some that are very worthwhile), to plants that we can use in combat to help us in our battles, and even to be able to perform Merlin’s Tests (since each of these will always ask us for a unit of Malva Dulce).

To get the most out of this profession, you will have to take into account a series of things that I will explain in this post. But I can tell you in advance that in order to get the most out of it, you should first unlock the Room of Requirement since it is the best place to do our crops and so on (although if you want you can also do it in the Herbology classroom).

HOW TO GET THE PLANTS AND SEEDS

You can get the plants as such in nature, there are plants everywhere and it is a good idea to go collecting them since they will come in handy.

However, the best thing you can do is buy the seeds of the plants you need (below in the list of all the plants I will tell you how to get each of them) since this will allow us to grow our own plants, which as already I was telling you, the best place for it is the Room of Requirement.

Emphasize something that surprised me, and that is that when you buy plant seeds, you will have infinite seeds for said plant. It’s not like Stardew Valley (great game if you don’t know it) so you understand me, you have to repurchase the seeds for each crop, when you buy the seeds it’s like you’re unlocking the possibility of being able to sow them whenever you want. The truth is that it spreads a lot, but I will explain it better throughout this post.

ALL HOGWARTS LEGACY PLANTS OR CROPS

These are all the plants that we can grow, some clarifications:

    • The location of the stores that I will tell you to buy the seeds are all in Hogsmeade; you can buy them in other stores, but in Hogsmeade we have them all and it’s more comfortable.
    • Each type of plant has a specific size: Small, Medium and Large; this will be relevant for the pot that we use.
    • Growth time is the time in real minutes that a plant takes to grow until it can be harvested.

    DICTATE

    • Material that we obtain when collecting it: Díctamo Leaves.
    • Purchase seeds at: The Magic Neep .
    • Seed price: 200 coins.
    • Plant size: Small.
    • Growth time: 1o min.

The Dictamo is a medicinal herb that is used to create the Herbovitalizing Potion (the potion that heals us), so it never hurts to cultivate it, there are never too many health potions.

    SWEET MALLOW

    • Material that we obtain when collecting it: Sweet Malva Leaves.
    • Purchase seeds at: The Magic Neep .
    • Seed price: 200 coins.
    • Plant size: Small.
    • Growth time: 10 min.

The Sweet Mallow is a very useful plant in Hogwarts Legacy since it will allow us to carry out the Merlin Trials.

    MANDRAKE

    • Material that we obtain when collecting it: Mandragora.
    • Purchase of seeds in: Timofila and Canaleja .
    • Seed price: 800 coins.
    • Plant size: Small.
    • Growth time: 10 min.

We can use the Mandrake in battles since when using it we will stun nearby enemies for a few seconds, which can help us to get out of trouble.

    CENTINODIA

    • Material that we obtain when collecting it: Branch of Centinodia.
    • Purchase seeds at: The Magic Neep .
    • Seed price: 350 coins.
    • Plant size: Small.
    • Growth time: 10 min.

Centinodia is a herb used to make the Invisibility Potion.

    CHINESE CHEWING CABBAGE

    • Material that we obtain when collecting it: Chinese Chewing Cabbage.
    • Purchase of seeds in: Timofila and Canaleja .
    • Seed price: 600 coins.
    • Plant size: Medium.
    • Growth time: 12 min.

The Chinese Chewing Cabbage is a vegetable that we can use in combat by throwing it at enemies so that the plant bites them; The plant has quite a bad temper, really.

    DRY FIG

    • Material that we obtain when collecting it: Dry Fig.
    • Purchase seeds at: The Magic Neep .
    • Seed price: 450 coins.
    • Plant size: Medium.
    • Growth time: 12 min.

The Dried Fig is a fruit with which we can make the “Thunderbrew” potion.

    DESCURAINIA SOPHIA

    • Material that we obtain when collecting it: Stem of Descurainia Sophia.
    • Purchase seeds at: The Magic Neep .
    • Seed price: 350 coins.
    • Plant size: Large.
    • Growth time: 15 min.

The Descurainia Sophia is a plant whose stems are used to make the Concentration Potion.

    VENOMOUS TENTACLE

    • Material that we obtain when collecting it: Poisonous Tentacle.
    • Purchase of seeds in: Timofila and Canaleja .
    • Seed price: 1050 coins.
    • Plant size: Large.
    • Growth time: 15 min.

The Venomous Tentacle is a very useful plant as when using it it will stay on the field in a turret plan and start shooting acid at the enemies.

    ALL GARDEN TABLES

Small Garden Table at Hogwarts Legacy

In order to grow our seeds, we will need the Gardening Tables (which we can build in the Room of Requirement as long as we have some Opal). There are different types, but in the end the important thing in terms of your choice is what type of pots these accept and how many of each one. You will be able to buy the recipes to be able to build them in Tomes and Scrolls .

We must interact with the table and select the plant that we want to grow and it will grow, when the relevant time passes you can collect it. Harvesting any plant will automatically start growing another plant of the same type. If we don’t harvest it, it will stay there waiting for you to pick it up and therefore it will not produce more plants.

I list all the tables we have at Hogwarts Legacy. There are different designs, but that does not matter, we will focus on what is important, which is how many pots they allow us to have and the quantity.

    SMALL GARDEN TABLES

    • Table with 1 Small Pot.
    • Table with 3 Small Pots.
    • Table with 5 Small Pots.

If you want to have a crop of each small plant in the game (you don’t need more a priori either) you will need 4 pots, so I would put a table with 3 pots and another with 1 (I would use this one for the Mandrake, for nothing in concrete, I think it suits him more to be apart).

    MEDIUM GARDEN TABLES

    • Table with 1 Medium Pot.
    • Table with 2 Medium Pots.
    • Table with 3 Medium Pots.

Keep in mind that we can also plant small plants in the Medium Pots, but I do not recommend it. If you want to have at least one plantation of Chinese Chewing Cabbage and Dried Fig (all medium plants), yours would be to buy the one with two Pots. Although you could also buy one of 3 and put, for example, the Mandrake in the place that you have left over (due to the aforementioned issue of not having a Table with 4 Small Pots).

    GARDEN TABLES

    • Table with 1 Large Pot.
    • Table with 2 Large Pots.

Here there is no doubt, you will need (at least) to be able to have all the large plants the one with 2 pots.

To summarize a bit, yours would be that you acquire: 1 Table with 3 Small Pots, 1 Table with 3 Medium Pots and 1 Table with 2 Large Pots . If you are looking for maximum optimization for used tables, of course.

    THE MANURE COMPOSTER: FERTILIZING PLANTS

We can also buy the recipe in Tomes and Scrolls, it is a piece of furniture that we can add to the Room of Requirement that will passively generate Fertilizer. We can add the Fertilizer to our crops so that they have a greater production .
