by Just One Call is one of Constance ‘s various side missions , and I must say that it took me quite a while to figure out how to complete it, since what we have to do, although quite simple in reality, is somewhat convoluted, and in my case, it took me quite a while to realize it.
This is a mission given to us by the NPC “Adam”, an NPC you will surely remember if you have seen him (I’ll tell you how to find him below anyway) since he is next to a telephone booth and his mission consists precisely in getting it working again.

In this post I explain where to find Adam and how to complete the mission “Just One Call Away”.
Mission Location: Adam
You will find Adam at the Catastrophic Crossroads, right in the room I indicate in the image.
Getting there is straightforward. If you still can’t access it, it means you need to keep progressing to acquire any Brush Techniques you’re missing.
How to Solve the Electrical Wire Puzzle
What I found difficult is precisely this. Basically, you have to do one thing in particular to get the electrical wires of the telephone line working.
Let me explain what you need to do in the room where Adam is. In that room, you’ll see a cable coming up from the phone booth, following this pattern of directions (up, right, down, left, up, right).
You need to follow that pattern of directions using the Brush Slash . That is, you must use the Brush Slash pointing upwards, then right, down, left, up, and right again. When you do this, you’ll see Adam become alerted, and the electrical current tube in the cabin will turn a bright purple to simulate that it’s now powered.
Location of the Other Electrical Cables
Your goal now is to find more of these electrical cables in the Catastrophic Crossroads area and do exactly the same thing. If you’ve already activated the cable in Adam’s room, you only need to activate three more .
Some of them are quite hidden, but I’ll tell you where to find them now.
Electrical Cable #1
You’ll find the cable in the far right and top of the area marked in the image, and here you have to do something a little unusual to solve the electrical current puzzle, as you must assume the pipes aren’t broken . Basically, the Brushstroke pattern is “up, left, up, right, up.”
Electrical Cable #2
This one’s pretty well hidden. Go to the room I’ve indicated in the image, right where you see my Constance, because there’s a hidden path there where you need to use the ground dash to the left .
Inside you’ll see a chest with some photos, and if you continue a little to the left you have to use the “Paint Clone” Brush Technique to summon a paint stick figure on the half-broken floor area to explode it and open a new path downwards.
In this new room, you’ll quickly find the electrical cable. This time the Brush Thrust pattern is “down, right, up, right.”
Electrical Cable #3
On the right side of this area you will find the typical platforming area where you have to use the “Brushstroke” technique (the teleport hook ) and the dash many times in order to reach a higher room where you will see the electrical cable.
The pattern to follow is: Down, right, up.
Reward for Completing the Mission
Once you’ve repaired the four electrical cables (the one in Adam’s room and the other three), speak to Adam again, and he’ll give you the ” Master Spear ” Inspiration. This is a very interesting Inspiration because it greatly increases the range of Brush Thrust, but also its paint cost.
