LOCATION OF THE LUMINOUS SEED IN TEARS OF THE KINGDOM

LOCATION OF THE LUMINOUS SEED IN TEARS OF THE KINGDOM

The Luminous Seed is an object from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that we can obtain through the plants that you will see in the photo above, which, as you can see, stand out a lot for being luminous.

These seeds are essential in Tears of the Kingdom since they will allow us to illuminate large areas, so they will be ideal in dark areas, a clear example would be the Underground, a place where darkness reigns and therefore we will have to have lighting tools of the site. These seeds can fulfill this role and the truth is that they fulfill it in an amazing way.

Keep in mind that we have the basic Luminous Seed and then also its version of Great Luminous Seed. Both fulfill the same function, but the big one illuminates much more; Of course, it is also true that it is much rarer and you will probably not find as many as those of the small version (which are useful to us in the end because they illuminate a lot).

The case, since this object is quite important for the game and I found a very interesting area to farm it (where you will find other interesting things), so I bring you this post so that you can use it whenever you need it. Let’s go there!

HOW TO GET LUMINOUS SEEDS

The area that I was telling you about is the one you have in the photo above, which, as you can see, is a little to the East of Hyrule Castle, so it is accessible from practically the beginning of our adventure.

GONGON HILL CAVE

Location of the Gongol Hill Cave in Tears of the Kingdom

It is a cave that we will find in Gongon Hill that you will find right in the place where the “X” appears on the map. That X indicates that there is one of the Treasures of Nambod, one of the reasons why I was telling you that this area is very interesting, in addition to the aforementioned topic of Luminous Seeds (which you will find quite a few and even some of the large ones in passed).

You will find the Nambod Treasure in question inside the cave after a path covered by luminous stones that you will find attached to a wall at the top. It will be enough that you hit him with a crush with a Bomb Flower and that’s it; inside you will find the Barbarian Chestpiece, a torso armor that will increase our attack, so it is quite interesting.

Regarding the seeds, that said, give the cave a good review because there are quite a few. But… not only that, we will also find many materials related to light (this area is very key) such as Luminous Mushrooms (which if you combine them with monster things you will obtain a Luminous Potion to have a lighting effect around you ) and also Luminous Gems, which although they do not give us luminosity, they are used to buy and improve some armor. You will find other more typical things since there are some ores and also Flores Bomba around.

Be careful because in the center of the cave you have a Petrarock, so be careful. I recommend that you defeat him because when you’re done with him he’ll drop a kind of Heart of Stone on the ground that you can combine with your weapons to get a pretty noticeable attack boost (his weakness is loin ore, you know).

WHAT IS THE LUMINOUS SEED IN TEARS OF THE KINGDOM FOR?

What I was telling you, they are an incredible source of light, so they will never be left over in your inventory, especially when facing the Underground.

To use them, all you have to do is take one with your hands, leave it on the ground and after that, hit it with something. The hit will cause it to anchor to the ground and produce light. The best thing is that they will produce light forever (hopefully a few of these for my house), which is very key to little by little having the Underground perfectly lit.

Another option that you have that is really interesting is to use them next to the bow. By doing so you will shoot an arrow with said seed and the plant will sprout where the arrow hits, which will allow you to illuminate distant areas.
