by Food in Conan Exiles may seem easy, but sometimes finding its ingredients is not necessarily easy. This guide aims to help you find/concoct some of them.
hunt, gather, fish
The base ! Early on, you can easily collect bugs by harvesting Plant Fibers. There are also bays along the desert streams.
Thereafter, when you are at least armed, you can kill poor helpless rabbits or turtles. There are 3 types of meat:
- the wild obtained on hyena, crocodile, small scorpion, wolf, tiger.
- the tasty obtained with ostrich, wild boar, deer, gazelle and anything that resembles them such as antelope or kudu.
- the exotic recovered from the large “moose” type deer (their antlers are more imposing), rhinoceros, large scorpion.
- The exquisite recovered on the kudu.
The Grindstone
The grindstone isn’t just for grinding bones! It allows to obtain salt for example using stones.To display102550100elementsTo research:

Dryer
Convenient for storing food longer and obtaining ingredients. If you have meat left over, but no other ingredients to go with it, drying it is a good alternative.

The stove
This is where we have fun! Your dishes see their regenerating effect increase tenfold. As with other crafting stations, additional recipes are available when you place a slave behind the stoves. The Press and the Fermentation Barrel
Eating is good, drinking too. You’ll find that drinks can help cool you down or warm you up. But watch out for alcohol, or you might stagger a bit.
In the Pressoir, you can use the berries of the desert or the highlands to extract the juice.
Put this juice in the Fermentation Barrel with Sourdough (you can find it north around New Asagarth) and purified water. Several recipes are available:To display102550100elementsTo research:

The Press is also used to make oil: skin, seed and unappetizing fish can be used for this purpose. I prefer not to use the skins. These are already necessary to make tar, a very useful material. Finally, you can get ichor by pressing putrid meat.
