RONIN GUIDE IN ROGUE LEGACY 2

RONIN GUIDE IN ROGUE LEGACY 2

The Ronin is without a doubt one of the best classes out of all the available classes that we have in Rogue Legacy 2 because his entire kit is just fantastic.

We have a whopping 20% Strength bonus along with Strength Mastery as well, which translates into a massive scaling of her weapon damage… since we mentioned the weapon, the Katana is incredible for its damage and range. But it is that even his Talent is also great since it will allow us to make a kind of super interesting teleport. Regarding the damage, this is at the level of the Barbarian , a melee class that also hits a lot (however the Ronin beats him in range).

Everything is fine in this class and it will definitely make a big difference, so use it because it’s brutal.

HOW TO GET THE RONIN IN ROGUE LEGACY 2

We can unlock the Ronin by upgrading the Fortress “talent tree”. The improvement that we have to buy is called ” Ryokan ” and we have it specifically in the second column from the left from the central column, at the top, exactly above the improvement called “Justa Studies”, which is what makes We receive less damage when performing the impulse.

? STATISTICS

  • Low life.
  • medium mana.
  • +20% Strength.

Looking at the  basic statistics such as Life and Mana, you see that it does not stand out too much, however this seems to me a way to make this character not too broken, because otherwise an extremely incredible character.

Let’s get to the cool part, which is that +20% Strength bonus …suffice to say, this is crazy and it will amplify our damage a lot. The best thing is that as we improve our character more and more, that 20% will be more and more noticeable.

WEAPON: KATANA

The Katana is for me, without a doubt, one of the best weapons in Rogue Legacy 2 and I base these words on the following points:

  • From the outset it has a very good damage, damage that of course will be increased by that very interesting bonus to Strength that we have.
  • Its reach is simply absurd, it is incredible how far this Katana hits with its blows, I think that in melee weapons it is the best there is in that aspect and certainly the reach is something exaggeratedly important in a game like Rogue Legacy 2. In addition, we can also hit diagonally in all directions, which gives us great versatility.
  • It has a guaranteed critical mechanic, which although it is difficult to master, it is very good. We will always give a critical hit if we hit the enemies from as far away as possible (hitting with the tip of the Katana so you understand me). Which makes the Dexterity stat also take on a higher value on the Ronin.

What’s wrong with this gun? Well, the only bad thing that I see is that we don’t have an attack during the impulse, that always comes in handy; that it does not hit too fast (something that it compensates with how hard it hits); and that although it can hit diagonally, the key would be to be able to hit up or down like the Valkyrie does .

Of course, its bad part is tiny compared to its enormous virtues.

TALENT: IMMORTAL KOTETSU

It is the Talent that comes by default with the Ronin and it is certainly also very good. We can hit with it in all directions and we will basically do a kind of slash while teleporting.

Its damage is not very high, but in the end the true use of this is due to the great mobility that teleport gives us, either to go from one enemy to another or to dodge attacks (which to dodge depending on what things this Talent is god and since it’s a teleport you can dodge everything).

This Talent regenerates over time and the truth is that it doesn’t take too long to do so, so we can use it quite often. But… in addition to that, if we defeat an enemy with this attack (since it does little damage, it won’t be that easy, mind you) we will reset its recovery time.

MASTERY: STRENGTH

And to top it off, we have Strength as a Mastery, it’s crazy. I think words are unnecessary, having Strength as a Mastery added to that bonus of +20% of Strength and together with the Strength that you acquire through improvements to Fortitude, the Blacksmith and others… well, it will make the Ronin’s damage scale a lot .

In my opinion it is for the moment, of all the characters I have tried (I think I have only 2 left to try), the best of all of them without any doubt. So you know, use the Ronin, because it’s one hell of a character.
