The Lion’s Roar is a four star sword in Genshin Impact that we all have generally used at some point in the early game.
It is a sword that provides a good amount of Attack to the equipped character and increases the damage done to enemies that are affected by Electro or Pyro . The problem? There are really very few characters in the game that can take advantage of this weapon and there is always another weapon that ends up renting more.
Even so, I want to emphasize that statistically it is not a bad weapon and that its Passive Ability is quite good; so let’s see a little more in detail its statistics and the characters that can take advantage of it.
ATTRIBUTES OF THE LION’S ROAR IN GENSHIN IMPACT
Let’s start by looking at its attributes:
- Base Attack Level 1: 42.
- Base Attack Level 90: 510.
Within the range of four-star swords, it is in the middle ground when it comes to Base Attack; the Iron Thorn and the Royal Long Sword share the same amount of Base Attack as the Lion’s Roar.
- Attack % Level 1: 9%.
- Attack % Level 90: 41.3%.
Despite having a Base Attack that is average, it gives us a fairly generous amount of Attack % (it does not reach the level of the Twin Sword Amenoma in this secondary stat, but it does not have the Base Attack as low as this one either) and Due to this, it is one of the four-star swords that will most enhance the Attack of the character to which we equip it.
Its passive effect is as follows:
- Increases damage dealt to enemies that are affected by the Pyro or Electro element by 20% (36% on R5).
This Passive Ability is very useful for characters that constantly generate one of these two elements or to equip it on a swordsman within an Overload team in which we will always have enemies affected by one of these two elements.
Obviously, to be able to get profitability and to be worth it, we will have to have almost the maximum refinements so that it can get its full potential (it is the same case of the Dragon’s Bane that has the same Passive Ability but changing Electro for Hydro) .
WHAT CHARACTER DO I PUT IT ON?
Its user must be either of the Electro element or the Pyro element and must generate elemental damage constantly, otherwise it will be more complex to activate the effect of the Passive Ability and we will lose a lot of damage with this sword.
The Lion’s Roar is one of the best four-star weapons we can equip to Keching (along with the Black Sword ). Keching has very little TOE on his Elemental Ability and after that he imbues himself with Electro and also his Ultimate has very little Elemental Energy cost and he has it practically always ready with hardly any investment in Energy Recharge; therefore he will always be generating Electro Damage and taking advantage of the damage bonus that the Passive Ability of this sword gives us.
Therefore, she will deal quite a lot of damage with this sword, but if we also equip the complete Thunder Tamer set (which is one of the best for her, but nobody usually farms it), our Keching will deal an additional 55% damage to enemies. affected by Electro (and if we have the weapon in R5, we could even reach 71%, which if Keching did not have the damage so low it would be crazy).
Other characters that also take advantage of this spear:
- Kuki Shinobu : It is not his best weapon but if we have the Iron Thorn occupied in Kazuha and we do not get the Poisonous Wish in its respective event, at least with this sword we will be able to increase the damage of his Elemental and Ultimate Ability because due to this first one always we will be generating Electro damage that will allow us to take advantage of the Passive Ability of this sword.
- Bennett : We will simply use this sword on Bennett if we have just started the game and we have nothing else to put on it, with it we will increase the damage produced by Bennett but it continues to rent him a sword with Energy Recharge to have his last always ready and with the highest possible Base Attack to increase the buff to the attack he generates with his Ultimate.
