Today we are going to analyze the other set of artifacts that lands in version 3.0 of Genshin Impact together with Sumeru, this set is called Golden Dreams and is closely linked to Elemental Mastery .
This set is quite similar to one of the sets that are usually equipped in the early game (since the rarity of its artifacts only reaches three and four stars) and it is none other than the Instructor set ; Both sets are the same in the effect of their two-piece bonus, but the difference is that Golden Dreams gives Elemental Mastery bonuses only to the character that has this set equipped instead of the entire party like the Instructor.
Therefore we will use this set with characters that benefit greatly from Elemental Mastery or that can grant part of their Elemental Mastery to the group. I want to clarify that for example Tighnari benefits a lot from this and some thought that this would be his artifact set, but in his case the Wanderer’s Orchestra four-piece bonus gives him a much higher bonus than converting Elemental Mastery into damage to Charged Attacks that this set provides (so be very careful with the character you equip it to).
That said, let’s see how we can get this set of artifacts and what effects it will provide to characters that are equipped with Golden Dreams.
HOW TO GET THE GOLDEN DREAMS SET
At the moment the location of this domain is unknown, as soon as it is available this section will be updated.
These would be all the pieces of the set:
- Flower : Dream Metal Flower.
- Feather : Feather of Judgment.
- Clock : Golden Times.
- Chalice : Final Feast.
- Crown : Reminiscent of the Desert King.
WHAT DOES THIS SET OF ARTIFACTS PROVIDE US?
Let’s see what effects this set gives us:
- 2 Pieces : Increases Elemental Mastery by 80 points.
- 4 Pieces : When performing an Elemental Reaction, the character equipped with this set will obtain 50 Elemental Mastery points for each character in the team with an element other than their own and a +14% bonus to their Attack for each character they have your same element in the team; this effect lasts 8 seconds, can be activated every 8 seconds and will remain even if the character is not on the field.
To start with we have the two-piece bonus that gives us an 80 point increase to Elemental Mastery, this effect is the same as we have in the Wanderer’s Orchestra set .
Then we have the bonus of 4 pieces that will change according to the composition of our team, if for example we equip it to an Anemo character in a composition with 2 Dendro characters and one Electro character, our character will have an additional bonus of 150 points of Elemental Mastery (which would be 230 points if you count the 2-piece bonus, which is quite a lot).
On the other hand, if we equip it to a Dendro character in the same composition, we will gain 100 Elemental Mastery points and a 14% bonus to Attack. The thing is to equip this set in a composition that allows us to get the most out of it.
WHAT CHARACTER DO I PUT IT ON?
We’re basically going to be looking for characters that need a massive amount of Elemental Mastery in their build.
Sucrose will be one of the characters that will be able to use this Golden Dreams set because it is partly similar to the Instructor set (which has always been a good option for her), only that it only increases the Elemental Mastery of its wearer instead of sharing it with the party by executing an Elemental Reaction.
But keep in mind that the Instructor’s artifacts can only be obtained with 4-star rarity and therefore raise them to level 16 at most and therefore we will lose a lot of Elemental Mastery while with the Golden Dreams set we will not have this problem.
This set will be relevant if we run Sucrose as the only Anemo in a double Dendro + Electro/Hydro/Pyro team, since we won’t be able to Whirlwind with Dendro and this set will rent us more than the Emerald Green Shadow set. As most of Dendro’s characters benefit greatly from Elemental Mastery, this set will be very beneficial for us to achieve a very high amount of Elemental Mastery so that by sharing it with the group (thanks to Sucrose’s passive talent) we provide a very large bonus .
