by In the post talking about the news of Blasphemous : Wounds of Eventide I already mentioned that in this new DLC we have a new secret ending that we can understand as being the “most final” ending of all of them (you understand what I’m saying) and it is Precisely thanks to the community that runs this blog that I have been able to discover the method to unlock it (which has fabric and is going to be very tedious, you know). So first of all Thanks to Beetle and Charles GGZ for helping me out with this!
The case, let’s go straight to the point, that today’s topic is cool. We go with each of the steps until we achieve this new ending.
#1 – NG AND DEFEAT ALL 3 HUMILIATIONS
First of all, I must tell you that you will have to make a new game since if you have already killed Esdras you will have lost the opportunity to obtain this ending. Whether it’s an NG or an NG+ , I’ll leave that to your choice.
Having this clear, the first thing we will do is defeat the first 3 bosses (not counting the Guardian of the Silent Lament ), specifically these:
- Have Mercy .
- Three Sorrows .
- Our Lady of the Blackened Face (I love the name).
After this , don’t even think about going to the bridge where we faced Ezra .
#2 – TOMB OF PERPETVA
Next we must go to the location where we find the Tomb of Perpetva , if you don’t know where it is, you can’t lose it, you have to go to the checkpoint that is next to the fight against the Serpents (if you don’t know where it is, click on the link Sierpes that tells you there). From there you pull to the left, you get on a kind of boat that will be there and that’s it, you will reach the area where the tomb is.
If you talked to Perpetva (in the grave) during a normal game, surely you noticed that she told you something about Ezra being dead or something (I don’t remember exactly) and that’s the thing, that we have to talk to her while Ezra alive . This will unlock a new dialogue and Perpetva will give us a new item called: Incomplete Scapular.
#3 – TALKING TO EZRA
Now yes, with the Incomplete Scapular in our possession, we will have to go to speak with Esdras on the bridge in front of the great door. It will seem that nothing new happens, but just when he is going to attack us… well, I won’t spoiler, but the fact is that something will happen, there will be a new dialogue and there will be no fight (if there is, it’s because you’ve done something wrong, don’t kill him you screw up everything then).
Which by the way, you will get the Prayer of Taranto to My Sister even without the combat.
#4 – BROTHERHOOD OF THE SILENT LAMENT
In case anyone does not remember this area, it is where our game begins . Well, we must go to this location:
It is just in the room to the left of the one marked in light blue, there you will have to talk to Esdras and he will give us a new object: Twisted Wood Grown Key. Right in the light blue room we will obtain the Prayer of Tirana from the Celestial Bastion. Note that to get to this area you need the Relic of Blood Perpetuated in Arena.
Since the topic comes up, you know that if you look there are some rooms in black that are not unlocked on the map. We have to go to the upper area (where the checkpoint), go to the left and jump over the void with the Gold Thread Canvas Relic , by doing so we will obtain a new Rosary Bead called Bitten Iron Crown (which has nothing to do with it). do with the end, neither the prayer, but by the way so you know).
#5 – DIOSDADO MISSION
Next we must go to the Library of Negated Words and talk to Diosdado to carry out his mission in which we have to stop the noise of the library. If you don’t know how to do this mission, I’ll leave you the guide here .
After this we talk to him again in the area where we met him for the first time (in the same room as the first checkpoint), we will give him the Key Grown in Twisted Wood and a new door will open in front of us. There we will talk to the Roots of the Knotted Tree of the Three Words and he will ask us to bring him his eyes.
#6 – THE GOLDEN EYES
We will obtain both eyes in:
- Dexterous Severed Gaze of the Betrayer : Defeating Isidora Voice of the Dead .
- Sinister Broken Gaze of the Traitor : Defeating the Serpents.
After this we must deliver them to the Roots of the Knotted Tree of Three Words and they will give us a new Heart of Mea Culpa : Apodictic Heart of Mea Culpa. When equipping it, a message will appear in which we are warned that by doing so we will unlock the true power of Mea Culpa and that this also means that we will never be able to change to another Heart. Could anyone resist not equipping this? The case, that you have to do it yes or yes to see the secret ending.
#7 – DEFEAT CRISANTA AND TALK TO HER
Now we must defeat Crisanta but equipped with the new Heart of Mea Culpa: Apodictic Heart of Mea Culpa . When you defeat her something will happen, I won’t spoil you because she’s cool (or not, depending on how you look hahaha).
After this we go to the Mute Lament again to the area where we talk to Esdras (the new area of Wounds of Eventide), both Esdras and Crisanta will be there. We will obtain the item «Holy Wound of Abnegation».
#8 – UNLOCK ANCIENT SECRET OR GOOD ENDING
We’re almost there, now we must unlock the old Good Ending , which as I already made a guide in its day, well I’ll leave it here (about breaking the statues of guilt and doing those challenges).
#9 – DEFEAT SON OF THE LAST MIRACLE
And we’re finally done. We will have to defeat Escribar and Son of the Last Miracle and when we go to the throne that is when something new will happen that I will not reveal to you because it is gorgeous in my opinion and I do not want to spoil it for you.
