HOW TO GET LOTS OF FOOD IN CULT OF THE LAMB

HOW TO GET LOTS OF FOOD IN CULT OF THE LAMB

The feeding of your followers is one of the most fundamental aspects that you will have to take into account in Cult of the Lamb since it will depend completely on you and they will lose loyalty towards you if you do not have them well fed and they could even starve to death. if they spend some time without eating and of course we don’t want that.

In the upper right corner of the screen (while in the sect) we can see the hunger meter of our sect and our duty will be to keep it as full as possible. The game itself in the tutorial already teaches us the basics regarding food and cooking, so we will go a little more to the point since I want to show you how you can have a passive and very efficient food source so that you can feed them without great complications.

Before that I will tell you a little about other food sources in the game that are good for you to know, although the one that I will put below is clearly the best of all.

FOOD SOURCES IN CULT OF THE LAMB

Ritual of the Feast in Cult of the Lamb

Tremendous feast for our followers.

These are the food sources in the game:

  • When visiting the maps for the first time (those that are not combat) it is very common that we find berry bushes and it would be ideal that you collect them all to obtain food and also seeds that will be necessary for what I will tell you below.
  • Fishing is another source of food, we will unlock it by meeting a fish man named “Fisherman” randomly in our raids. This will unlock a new map called “Pilgrim’s Passage” (easily recognizable because it has a large lighthouse) and there we will have a fishing post to fish (it is with the typical system of staying on a moving bar).
  • In the raids you will see that one of the options that appear sometimes is an icon like food, when choosing this path food will appear in said room, something that comes in handy if you are a little scarce.
  • In your raids, when you find NPCs, destroy everything they have (especially if they have bonfires) since many times we will get food. There are also NPCs that will sell us food.
  • Several spiders will appear at night on your sect’s land, which you can hunt for meat.
  • I don’t recommend it much, but your own adepts are a source of food… you can kill them for meat or take advantage of it when they die, but it would be better if you make a grave for them.
  • We have Rituals in which we can feed our followers.
  • There are also Tarot Cards whose function is to help us get more food, such as the Curse of Neptune, which will give us a chance that when we defeat an enemy, they will release a fish.

THE FARM AND CROPS

The problem with all the above mentioned food sources is that they are active ways of getting food, so now we will talk about a way to get them passively so that you save a lot of time. We can basically build a Stardew Valley -style crop farm and have our adepts work on it so that our only role is to provide them with seeds and harvest the crops.

THE FARM

The first step will be to build the farm since it is the building that will allow us to assign followers to take care of our crops . Building it requires only 20 coins and 20 units of wood and we can place it in an area that is free.

We can unlock it through Divine Inspiration if we follow the path to the right from the beginning of the tree. We will need to acquire “Plot” and then “Agriculture Package”.

THE PARCELS

After this we must build the Plots, which is where our crops will go, you can put them wherever you want since you yourself can interact with them to plant seeds, add fertilizer, water, harvest and others. But… the key is that you put them inside the Farm area because if you add them there you can select an adept to take care of the harvest and you forget. Each Plot costs 4 grass units and 2 coins.

It will be enough for you to talk to one and tell him to take care of the crops, yes, be very attentive because if he dies or gets sick you will have to look for a substitute. Your only job will be to provide them with seeds (now let’s get to that) and reap the harvest.

SEED SILO

With a cost of 20 coins, 10 stones and 10 wood we can build this Seed Silo whose function is to store seeds so that the adept in charge of the crops can plant them. Put it near the Farm (it doesn’t need to be within the Farm area, but it should be close so your adept doesn’t waste too much time wandering around.

All you have to do is add the seeds you want them to plant there (it has a maximum capacity), they can be of various types. Keep in mind that when we collect the crops we will often obtain seeds from the crops themselves and that we can also get them in raids, buying them from NPCs and etc.

SCARECROW

The Scarecrow will allow us, to the surprise of no one, to scare away the birds. This construction can be unlocked by following the path that we were already following through Divine Inspiration and it is essential to avoid losing crops since very occasionally birds will come to spoil them .

The ideal is to put it inside the farm itself since it has a radius of effect and it will be by being inside that we will get it to cover all our crops. To create it we need 25 wood and 30 coins.

With all this created, we will have many foods passively so that you can focus on other things and be calmer about feeding your followers.

And that’s it! What did you think of this Cult of the Lamb guide ? Isn’t the theme of the Farm interesting? Do you know other methods to get a lot of food? Leave your comment!
