ERROL THE STONEBREAKER GUIDE IN V RISING

ERROL THE STONEBREAKER GUIDE IN V RISING

Errol the Stonebreaker is the second boss that we will have to face in V Rising and again it is a fairly simple boss, although I must also say that the difficulty has been scaled compared to the previous one.

This time we will not delve too much into its location because by now you already know that it is enough to access the Altar of Blood and interact with it so that a kind of red smell appears that will take us to said boss; smell that will take us to the “Bandida Copper Mine”, a very interesting place to farm said mineral. So nothing, we go straight to the guide to defeat him and also below we will see the rewards that he will provide us.

HOW TO DEFEAT ERROL THE STONEBREAKER

We will start talking about the preparation of said battle and we will continue as always with his guide to attacks and others:

BATTLE PREPARATION

Since it is assumed that you have already defeated Alpha Wolf , with that you will be quite prepared since at the moment we do not have access to many other things. What I do strongly recommend is that you get the Copper Spear for this battle so you have better damage against Errol the Stonebreaker, which helps a lot.

If you don’t know how to get Copper and its Ingots , I’ll leave you here the link with your guide.

ATTACK GUIDE

Let’s continue with the list of his attacks and my recommendation of what you should do in response to each of them to make the battle as bearable as possible.

But first of all… a piece of advice that I think is important. You will find Errol surrounded by miners and as you get a little closer to them they will start hitting you, so you should try to attract them (without drawing Errol’s attention) and move them away from Errol to eliminate them; That way they won’t bother you when you fight the boss. This one will be moving, so if you ride it well you will be able to attract the other miners with ranged attacks without attracting their attention From it.

Now if we go with the attacks:

  • Ax : A simple ax blow, you throw yourself back a little and take the opportunity to hit it with a tap and move away.
  • Blower : It will launch a kind of wave on the ground that will travel through it. You will see how the area lights up as purple and after a while it will explode all this area doing a lot of damage if it catches you there (it does damage when it launches the wave and when the ground explodes after a while). You move away from the area of action and that’s it, it’s also a good time to attack him with «Shadow Ray» (actually I recommend that you throw it whenever you can, unless you have it very close; it is the ranged attack of the ball red). Be careful because sometimes he will do an improved version of the attack in which he will open more paths on the ground.
  • Spin Ax : Typical spinning top attack with the ax that he usually does when you are close. The idea is that when you get close to him and have “Blood Ritual” (the parry) available, you use it to deal damage, heal yourself, and knock him back along the way.
  • Call the Compis : He will summon 2 miners to help him in the battle, he will do it even if you have defeated all the miners in the area (which does not mean that it is still good to clean the area). The best thing you can do is move away a bit so that both of them can get closer to you and use «Blood Ritual» so that when one of them hits you both take damage and die quickly (they probably won’t die from just that, but then you hit them with a the gun and out).

Little more to add, with patience it will fall. If you see that you have low life you start spamming ranged attacks and dodging all the time (no melee) and that’s it.

REWARDS FOR DEFEATING HIM

Defeating Errol Stonebreaker will give you the following:

  • Replica : Basic ability with which we will do that Errol attack colored like purple that traveled the ground and exploded. We will deal magic damage and also apply burn.
  • Big Stash : A chest that allows you to store 21 objects, so great because surely the basic Stash was getting too small for you (or at least it happened to me, come on).
