BUILD OF THE ROGUE (ROGUE) IN LOOP HERO

BUILD OF THE ROGUE (ROGUE) IN LOOP HERO

The Rogue is one of the classes that we can unlock in Loop Hero and it is my favorite class in the game due to its high offensive capacity and attack speed.

Surely you already know very well the style of play that Rogues usually have in video games; These are the typical thieves, characters with a high offensive capacity and agility but who are also quite fragile (at least compared to a Warrior ) and therefore usually resort to dodging or evasion to get out of their confrontations.

In Loop Hero this is of course respected. But… why is what we could call a weak class (at least in terms of fragility) my favourite? Well, you will understand that as you read this post. Let’s go there!

HOW TO UNLOCK THE ROGUE IN LOOP HERO

It is very simple and you will be able to do it quite soon after you start the game. Basically you will have to build the building called ” Shelter “. From the Campfire, you build the Campaign Kitchen and then you will have the Shelter available.

You will need the following resources to build it:

  • Stable Wood x12.
  • Preserved Rock x2.
  • Stable Metal x2.
  • Food Supply x7.

? DECK/RECOMMENDED CARDS

We will focus above all on increasing our attack speed, reducing that of enemies and being able to farm enemies placidly. We will also play with the fact of weakening the health of the enemies (although it will also affect us, now you will see).

  • Forest + Scrub : The card that cannot be missing. Both will increase our Attack Speed, something that translates into a noticeable increase in damage and making it more likely to annihilate enemies without them touching us. Do not exceed +120% Attack Speed, which is very noticeable in stamina (when we are tired and hit very slowly).
  • Desert + Sand Dunes : Another set of cards that will sell us phenomenally even if they seem counterproductive. They reduce our HP and also those of our enemies (by the same %), we are interested because in the end we want to kill our enemies as soon as possible, if they die quickly, they will do almost no damage (or even none) and facing the defense it is better that we use techniques such as evasion. Come on, since both you and the enemies will lose the same health, in the end it will be the same with the difference that you will kill them before. It will be easier to die, of course, but trust me, the difference is very noticeable and when you see the whole build you will understand the idea better.
  • Meadow : PS heals us at the beginning of each day, the cure will be very noticeable given our low health. Remember to place it next to other cards so that it heals us even more (next to deserts, forests… or wherever, but always attached to something).
  • Rio : A fantastic card for 2 reasons; on the one hand we will put the Bushes around it to double its Speed effect (super key) and on the other if we place it next to the Deserts and Dunes we will be able to reduce the Attack Speed of the enemies (also ours, but since it is not It is a good idea to be too fast due to stamina, as it will have very good synergy with the forests, we will be increasing our speed and also making our enemies slower while on the other hand we can control the fact of not going too fast due to stamina issues).
  • Bloody Grove : Groves do not go too many, maybe 2. Bloody Groves are great because we can put them next to Groves, Forests and Thickets and they will annihilate the enemies that are with health below 15%, helping us a lot. It is mandatory to have a Bloody Grove in the Campfire area to help us kill the final boss of the turn (the Priestess for example).
  • Graveyard + Spider Chrysalis : Both are enemies that we will easily defeat as a Rogue and that is something that is phenomenal. I recommend the Spiders in any character, the Skeletons are great for the Rogue because they hit very slowly and on many occasions we will defeat them without barely touching us.
  • Oblivion : Essential to eliminate the additional enemy buildings that will appear with the Forests and Deserts. They are quite annoying additional enemies and we do not want them to bother us. If you are in Expedition 1 it will also be great to kill the buildings that boost the Liche.
  • Arsenal : A golden card that slightly reduces the quality of the objects that we will obtain but that will allow us to equip an additional object. In the case of the Rogue, we can equip ourselves with the pendant worn by Necromancers, which provides us with a protective shield that is restored in each battle. It’s going to be great for us to hold out better in battles.

For the rest, the usual, adapt it to your liking.

? ADDITIONAL ROGUE STATS

First of all, comment that the Rogue works somewhat differently from the other classes. We will not obtain loot from enemies and others, instead we will accumulate some bags and when we reach the Campfire we will suddenly obtain a lot of equipment (more the more bags you have).

In addition to this we will have a 5% Vampirism (you heal when hitting enemies) as standard and a bonus to our statistics if we carry the same in more than one equipment item, that must be taken into account.

The Rogue has the following additional stats:

  • Pure Damage : Damage that is added to the damage you do naturally, we are not interested.
  • Damage to All : An additional damage that we will do to all enemies, we are not interested in it either.
  • Evasion % : Probability of dodging a blow and therefore not causing us damage.
  • Critical Chance % : The chance to deal a critical hit, a more powerful hit.
  • Attack Speed : We’re very interested in it, but don’t look too hard for it because we already have the Woods and Bushes for this.
  • Counterattack : When we are attacked, we will have a x% chance to counterattack. It’s fine, but it’s not the priority.
  • Defense : The higher the Defense, the less damage we receive. We are not interested.
  • Critical Damage % : Only spreads if you have a high Critical Chance to deal more damage with criticals.

Here are the stats I recommend in order of priority:

  • S : Critical Chance, Evasion.
  • A : Attack Speed (it’s S, but since we’ll get a lot of Forests and stuff…), Critical Damage (only with high Critical Chance).
  • B : Counterattack.
  • C : Pure Damage, Damage to All.
  • D : Defense.

A good Critical Chance, along with some Critical Damage and Attack Speed will make us a killing machine (a bit of counterattack doesn’t hurt). The essential Evasion also in the face of our survival.

OUTSTANDING FEATURES

Here are the Traits I highly recommend for the Rogue in Loop Hero in order:

  • Omicron technique : I recommend it in any class, it’s brutal. Upon death we revive with full health, but it can only happen once. In the bosses it is key.
  • Son of the Forest : 75% chance that a dog will help us in combat. It’s great, the dog causes damage, but the best thing is that the enemies will hit him many times and therefore we will not receive (how ugly it sounds, but good)
  • Picky : Reduces by 3 the number of items we get when we reach the Campfire, but these will be of higher quality. In already advanced loops it comes in handy.
  • Smoke Screen : Every time you lose 20% health you will dodge all attacks inflicted on you for 2 seconds. It seems silly, but it will greatly increase our survival.
  • Fencing Master : 10% chance to hit 2 enemies at once with your attacks. To clean better it comes in handy, 10% is not much, but it goes up (more with our Attack Speed).

Of course there are other Traits that are also very interesting, these are the ones I usually take and they come in handy.
