BATHIN GUIDE IN CULT OF THE LAMB

BATHIN GUIDE IN CULT OF THE LAMB

Bathin is one of the bosses that I have called “Optional Bosses” of Cult of the Lamb , specifically the one that we can face in Anura and if you have already defeated Agares (you have him linked below if not) you are in luck because the boss is extremely Similary.

And it is that the fact that the optional bosses are more of a challenge to defeat waves of common enemies seems to be that it is already a norm in the game and well… I don’t dislike it because in the end it is a somewhat different air and it makes sense that this type of bosses are more of “defeat many small enemies” since it is supposed to be a representation of the fauna of the area conquering the heretic’s terrain. But… it’s true that a more epic battle would be cool, right?

The case, that you are here for the guide not to read me raving, here we go!

BATHIN’S LOCATION IN CULT OF THE LAMB

Bathin is the optional boss of Anura (second zone of the game), so if you want to face him beforehand you will have to defeat all the Minibosses of Anura and also Heket (which is the final boss of the zone).

Once you have fulfilled these requirements, you will simply have to return to Anura and when you reach the end of the run, Bathin will appear as the final boss.

HOW TO DEFEAT HIM

As always in these Cult of the Lamb boss guides (and almost all the ones I do) we will first see Bathin’s attacks in detail and after that I will give you some tips to make the battle more bearable.

ATTACK GUIDE

These are the attacks of Agares:

  • Charge : The typical attack that almost all the bosses have, they have it so much that it makes me redundant to comment on it, but it is what it is. It will dive towards us but luckily an arrow will appear on the ground to indicate that it is doing it and in what direction, so avoiding it is quite easy.
  • Spit : Another attack that we have seen many times, but be careful because this boss will launch quite a few spits and they will be explosive, so we will have to be more careful when dodging. Anyway, as usual, marks will appear on the ground that indicate where the spit will fall, so avoid them.
  • Summon Compis : Every time you drop 25% of his health (so by eye) he will disappear and summon Anura’s enemies, you will have to defeat them all for the boss to come back. In each summoning phase more annoying enemies will appear than in the previous one, special care when summoning that species of moths or the third one since it will bring out those “ugly frogs” as grayish in color that take out flies through their mouths (the ones that die alone but which are very annoying).

BATTLE TIPS AND STRATEGY

It is as we saw with Agares (optional boss of Dark Forest, first area), the boss itself is a calf, the real challenge is the waves of enemies since these also defeat the final boss (Heket in this case) they become even more powerful.

I highly recommend that you carry a weapon with a good range for this type of encounter, as it will be greatly appreciated in order to defeat the waves of enemies; poison or weapons that release a spirit that attacks when we defeat enemies as well. Vampirism of course also, that is very worthwhile in any boss.
