Due to this, the key for this fight will be the composition of our team , since more than focusing on doing damage to him, we will need to have many different elements in the team to cover the weaknesses of his shields and leave him exposed; Even if we break a shield, it will create another one almost immediately, so we will need to apply the element to which it is weak at that moment many times.

This enemy is inside a cave in the Zulqarnain Canyon of the Layavard de Sumeru Desert, which we can access from the path between the two teleportation points located to the south of this canyon.
COMBAT AND RECOMMENDED CHARACTERS
Upon reaching the arena where the fight against the Sacrilegious Baptist will take place we will be able to see three floating orbs in the field, these orbs can belong to the Hydro, Cryo, Electro or Pyro element and depending on which ones you have, you can generate attacks with said elements and create elemental shields with them.
As soon as the combat begins, the elemental orbs will be placed on the surface of the battlefield and some elemental rings will begin to be drawn on the ground, in order to stun the enemy we will have to get rid of these circles by hitting the orbs with the following elements:
- Pyro Orb : Weak against Hydro.
- Hydro Orb : Weak against Dendro
- Cryo Orb : Weak against Pyro.
- Electro Orb : Weak against Dendro, Pyro and Cryo.
After finishing this attack, an elemental shield will be placed randomly and it will perform elemental attacks according to its shield (among the elements it has), in this part, when finishing breaking the shield, another one will be placed and after breaking this new shield it will be will finally put the last one.
Finally, the enemy will be stunned for a slightly longer period and if we are not able to defeat him in that time, he will restart the mechanic of the three elemental shields.
As for Main DPS, Shogun Raiden stands out a lot due to the tremendous damage that his ult can inflict in an instant (since we have a very short time to deal damage to him), but in general we will need characters that attack quite quickly because he is one of the enemies that less time they stay exposed, so I recommend characters like Hu Tao , Kamisato Ayaka , Yoimiya , Kamisato Ayato , Alhacén , Shikanoin Heizou , Yanfe i or Keching .
From Support DPS we can take characters that have effective elements against each shield and that spam many attacks of their element; for example against the Pyro shield we can take Yelan , Xingchiu or Mona , for the Electro shield we can put Nahida , Yaoyao or Rosaria in our team.
There are many attacks from the Sacrilegious Baptist that generate a lot of damage, so it won’t hurt to take a healer like Sangonomiya Kokomi , Kuki Shinobu or Yaoyao (who will also be very useful to remove his shields) or a squire like Zhongli , Layla or Thomas .

- Elemental Rings : As soon as the combat begins, the enemy will place the elemental orbs on the surface of the battlefield and some circles will begin to be drawn, if we do not eliminate the orbs before the circle is complete, three elemental explosions will originate that will cover a large part of the field.
- Pyro Element :
- Flaming Meteors : The Sacrilegious Baptist will conjure up 4 meteors that he will shoot in succession towards our location on the field, but they are very slow and therefore very easy to dodge.
- Sudden Eruption : Sometimes it will summon 4 small circular areas below our position that will explode almost immediately, so we will have to be very attentive to our character.
- Hydro element :
- Hydrobombs : It is the same attack as the Flaming Meteors, but changing the Pyro spheres for Hydro spheres.
- Water Slash : The enemy will imbue his arms with the Hydro Element and launch a sequence of three to five attacks towards our position on the field.
