by The Lunar Light of Sisyphus is a 4-star Light Sword introduced in version 3.1 of Genshin Impact that today I have decided to analyze as we usually do in this blog with all the weapons in this game.
And I want to say something now because obviously I have already analyzed the weapon in depth before starting to write and the truth is that we are facing a Light Sword that in my opinion is tremendous. But not only that, but he is going to be one of the best options for what is in fact one of the best characters in Genshin Impact (I’ll tell you below), something that gives him even more value.
The case, let’s go with its in-depth analysis!
SISYPHUS MOONLIGHT ATTRIBUTES IN GENSHIN IMPACT
Let’s start by looking at its attributes:
- Base Attack Level 1: 42.
- Base Attack Level 90: 510.
Regarding the Base Attack, it is in the middle ground, it is not among the lowest values nor among the highest values; thus sharing a position in this sense with many Light Swords such as the Lion’s Roar , the Flute or the Black Sword among many others that we will not mention so as not to lengthen this too much.
Let’s take a look at his secondary stat:
- Elemental Mastery Level 1: 42.
- Level 90 Elemental Mastery: 165.
Elemental Mastery is a very interesting stat for many characters and since Dendro’s departure it is gaining more and more value . 165 is a not insignificant value, in fact it is at the same level as the Iron Thorn which is precisely known for being a Light Sword that gives a good amount of Elemental Mastery.
The Passive Skill grants the following effect:
- Every 10 seconds the character will gain 0.036% Energy Recharge for each point of Elemental Mastery they currently have. The other characters will also get 30% of the Energy Recharge obtained in this way. The effect lasts 12s and the activation can occur even if the character is not on the field. The multiplier will be 0.072% on R5.
It’s a tremendous passive any way you look at it and will come in exceptionally handy for characters that need Elemental Mastery and also have power generation issues (I’m sure you’ve already thought of one).
In the case of a character with 1000 Elemental Mastery (which seems crazy but characters that equip all the Elemental Mastery can get to these figures or at least close and without taking into account buffs) we would get 36% Energy Recharge , like this that nothing bad This would also mean that the other teammates would get 10.8% Cooldown, which, well, is an interesting help.
But hey, speaking of a lighter case of for example a character that has 400 Elemental Mastery, we would get 14.4% Energy Recharge and 4.32% for the other characters in the group. That’s good, here it is true that it doesn’t spread as much anymore, but it is still a help. What is clear is that the weapon spreads especially in characters that are going to have A LOT of Elemental Mastery. So nothing, let’s go with the recommended characters because surely you already have one that shines exaggeratedly with the Lunar Light of Sisyphus.
But it is that on top of that these data are for the weapon in R1, in R5 you would have to duplicate them ; it’s crazy.
WHAT CHARACTER DO I PUT IT ON?
That said, characters who equip themselves very much around Elemental Mastery and who also need a good amount of Energy Recharge.
It was obvious, Kaedehara Kazuha is a character that takes an exaggerated advantage of this sword and finally we have an alternative to the Iron Thorn that in my opinion is better since Kazuha is a character that needs a lot of Energy Recharge to have his Ulti Always ready.
Since the best way to equip him is to have as much Elemental Mastery as possible and he can get to that 1000 Elemental Mastery this way (and if you don’t get there you’ll stay close at least, at 900 and something), he’ll get a pretty good amount of Recharge to have less problems generating energy and by the way it will also help your group generate a little more energy, giving you an additional component of support (as if our god Kazuha did not already provide enough support).
The Dendro Traveler, especially in compositions where he is going to have a very good amount of Elemental Mastery (with Dendro Elemental Consonance , with Sucrose , Diona C6…) will also get tremendous use out of it because once again we are dealing with a character who takes great advantage of Elemental Mastery and on top of that he also has quite a few elemental energy generation problems and has a very good Ulti, so 2 birds with one stone (and by the way we helped the other team members a bit with some extra Cooldown).
Other characters that can use it:
- Nilou : Elemental Mastery comes in handy for increasing the damage of her enhanced “Flowering” elemental reaction and some extra Energy Recharge won’t hurt either.
