We continue with the analysis of weapons from the forge of Sumeru and today I specifically bring you the catalyst called the Fruit of the Culmination . I already told you, enough to say about it because well… I’ll tell you in this post because anyway.
From the outset comment that the weapons of the Sumeru forge are a bit disappointing but I think that without a doubt this is the one that disappoints the most in my opinion because it has a huge drawback that we will now see in its analysis and in short, some character will be able to use it … but my goodness. Let’s get to the heart of the matter!
ATTRIBUTES OF THE FRUIT OF CULMINATION IN GENSHIN IMPACT
Let’s start by looking at its attributes:
- Base Attack Level 1: 42.
- Base Attack Level 90: 510.
This time we have a weapon with a Base Attack that is not as high as we saw in the other weapons of the Sumeru forge (it is rather a middle ground), something that, as you will see a little further down, is a bit consistent with what who is looking for this weapon (which is that you have a negligible Attack ). It has a Base Attack like that of weapons such as Marauders Symphony or Black Crag Agate.
- Energy Recharge Level 1: 10%.
- Energy Recharge Level 90: 45.94%.
Its secondary attribute is Energy Recharge, which, as we always say, are many characters that need a minimum of this in order to always have their Ulti ready on time in the rotation, but it is also true that few need such an amount that you opt for a weapon that grants this stat.
Passive Skill:
- Performing an Elemental Reaction increases your Elemental Mastery by 24 and REDUCES your Attack by 5%. You can stack the effect 5 times and you can only activate it at most 1 time every 0.3s. If 6 seconds go by without you performing a Reaction, you will lose a charge. 36 Mastery per charge on R5 (Attack reduction remains).
Let’s see… with 5 charges in R1 it would be a total of 120 Elemental Mastery and in R5 180, which in that sense is not bad if everything stays that way. But losing 25% of Attack with the 5 charges in the process, the truth is that it is too high a cost to pay for what it ends up offering us. This means that we have to discard all the Catalyst characters that benefit from the Attack (which are not exactly few) or at least not their main source of damage.
WHAT CHARACTER DO I PUT IT ON?
As you can see, things are quite complicated… if there were a character that would benefit precisely from having little attack… this weapon would be brutal. But it is not the case today. We need to find a Catalyst wielding character that needs a lot of Energy Recharge, benefits from Elemental Mastery, and doesn’t mind losing too much Attack in the process.
Lisa is really the only character you can fit this Catalyst aberration on (hopefully not offending the Fruit of the Cult fan community) if you run her in a comp where you prioritize her Elemental Reactions over her damage. I would absolutely not recommend that you put this weapon on her, I’m just saying that of all the characters, she is the one who makes the most of it.
The Energy Recharge is good for him and in this type of composition the loss of Attack will not weigh so much, but that it does not weigh so much does not mean that it does not affect him since at the end of the day you are losing damage.
Sucrose is another character that could take advantage of it but meh… Elemental Mastery is great for her and the loss of Attack will not be as noticeable since it is normal to equip her with Elemental Mastery to death. But of course, having to think about it so much to get the Elemental Mastery when we have catalysts that directly give it to us without any but, as is the case with Sacrifice Memories … Well, put this directly on it and that’s it (which doesn’t lower our Attack on top). In addition, she doesn’t require as much Energy Recharge either… but yes, even with these she is another of the characters who can get the most out of this Catalyst.
Bottom line: Don’t spend resources on this Catalyst because it’s not worth it .
And that’s it! What do you think of the Fruit of the Culmination in Genshin Impact ? Do you agree that he is not a good Catalyst? Which character would you put it on? Leave your comment!
