I have managed to unlock the ending of Hades and the truth is that I found it to be an incredible ending , with very good moments and those that strike a chord a bit (or at least that has happened in my case hahaha) so I highly recommend achieving it .
In this post, in addition to telling you how you can unlock the ending (with the final credits, being able to escape from the underworld without more would not be the end of Hades) and I will also talk to you a little more below (so whoever does not want spoilers, well stop reading when you touch that part and that’s it) about my impressions of this ending, which I thought was very good.
And nothing, as always, here we go!
HOW TO GET THE HADES ENDING
It is not an ending that is obtained quickly, you are going to have to play a few games of the game and specifically defeat the final boss of the game several times, whether you have gotten there or not, surely you already assume that it is Hades himself (not It is a spoiler, since the game makes it quite clear that Hades is the last obstacle to overcome).
If you have already beaten the game several times, you will have noticed that the story will expand each time you get it. The case, that if you want to unlock the final ending, with its credits and the conclusion of what would be the game, you will have to escape from the underworld a total of 10 times .
It doesn’t matter the weapon , or the heat level or anything like that, it’s just escaping the underworld 10 times, nothing more.
If you don’t want spoilers about the ending, it’s time to stop reading, you’ve been warned!
EPIC ENDING
The truth is that the end has pleasantly surprised me and both for those who are curious and for those who have already seen it and want to know an outside opinion, I bring you my impressions.
From the outset I really liked the detail that when you get to the battle against Hades, he gives up fighting with you and lets you pass without further ado; and of course, always maintaining that characteristic pride of Hades telling us to go before he thinks about it while he looks the other way.
I like how they have made Hades a very serious, strict, cold and somewhat rough person with his words, but at the same time have his “little heart”, something that we can glimpse at times and is greatly accentuated with this final gesture. At least in my case, I advanced to Greece, but thinking « how great are you Hades «.
I love that Persephone ends up agreeing to return to the Underworld despite the risks that this entails and that the good Charon appears to take us there with his boat, it seemed incredible to me, and even more so having Eurydice and Orpheus playing and singing… very epic.
The credits roll while we’re sailing with our mother on the way to her true home, which I also thought was pretty on point. And that final conversation between Hades, Zagreus and Persephone in which he apologizes is gold.
And of course, all culminating in that photo of a happy family finally reunited with good old Cerberus. Incredible ending, one of those that leave you with a good taste in your mouth and thinking: What a great game. Because there are many tremendous games that suffer from having a somewhat mediocre ending, but Hades has proven to be a great game with a good conclusion, something that for me greatly enhances a game.
