Samir is a real blast in Tower of Fantasy. I’ve been hooked on the game ever since she came out, and her weapon was the first SSR I got to try. What she didn’t know was that she was going to be in the highest top tier of characters and weapons in the game, at least at launch. And if that wasn’t enough, even her personality and design freaks me out (I admit that she reminds me slightly of Samus when she doesn’t wear the armor and has her Zero suit).
In any case, now I want to talk about how to improve your weapon, how to play it , and also, which set of matrices is the best for you. That said, there’s quite a bit to explain ahead of time, so I’m going to get down to business. Here we go, Tower of Fantasy players!
Guide for Samir in Tower of Fantasy
How to take advantage of Samir
The first thing to keep in mind is that Samir (or, well, his weapon, rather, you already know that what is important here is the weapon, since the characters are just skins) is DPS. That is, it does not cure, nor does it serve to defend you. That is why, if you want to get the most out of it, you should equip a second weapon that is also DPS to greatly increase your damage when activating the Attack power.
Come on, your weapon is intended only to do damage. However, being of the Electric element, it can paralyze enemies. This is very important since, in addition to doing a lot of damage, it also limits the mobility of the rival monsters and you will get them to attack even less.
Another important detail about his pistols is that they can attack from a distance. This is something you can take advantage of especially in co-op, as you can attack more safely by keeping your distance from a boss. This will also help you charge your weapons, as Samir is very bad at destroying shields but she does charge weapons like foam.
By the way, although to boost its damage you should equip a second DPS weapon as I mentioned before, you can also use this weapon as a secondary if you want to be a Support. I, for example, carry the weapon of Coco and Nemesis, which are Ice and Electro, respectively, and both are healing. That boosts my healing, but Nemesis boosts electric weapons, so I have Samir’s pistols equipped as well.
How to upgrade your weapon
The first thing I tell you is what resources are needed to improve Double Magnetic Stars and how to do it.
- How to do it is very simple: you just have to open the weapons menu ✅
- Select Double Magnetic Stars ✅
- And there you hit Improvement ✅
- And here you have two ways to upgrade it: with Normal Upgrade , which is by leveling it up; or with Advance, which is with dupes, that is, with the duplicate weapon if it touches you (in our weapons guide you will find all the information about this) ✅
Now, what do you need to upgrade to Double Magnet Stars?
- You must have Weapon Batteries, which are very easy items to find by exploring or testing ✌️
- These serve to increase the level of any weapon ✅
- However, every 10 levels, you have to Raise the weapon, which is to give it specific resources so that it can overcome that barrier every 10 levels ❗️
- In the case of Double Magnetic Stars, you will need:
- lightning cores
- Nanocoat
- reinforced frame
- Depending on what level you increase, you will need more or less resources of these types ✅
Remember that you often get chests where you can select which weapon resource you specifically want and they will give it to you. Do not open these chests until you need to Augment a weapon and find that you are missing a resource. That’s when you should open those boxes and get the resource you need.
What matrices do Double Magnetic Stars need?
The subject of matrices is easy and difficult at the same time. It’s easy because in the game itself there is a section where it tells you which dies are the most recommended for each weapon. But it’s difficult because it costs a lot to get a good complete set.
- National Liberation: This die set is SSR and is the one that shows Samir’s face. Come on, it’s the best set for Double Magnet Stars, but it’s quite hard to get all four pieces. Normally, arrays are for increased health and damage if you only equip one, but…
- If you equip two: With each attack, increase the damage you deal by 1%. It can be stacked more or less times, depending on how many dupes you have from the same array.
- If you equip four: you increase the damage of the Electric Blast
- Swamp Shadow: This set is SR, so it’s easier to get. Mind you, SR sets only give you a set-exclusive buff when you equip 3 instead of 2 or 4:
- If you equip 3: Increases damage dealt for each nearby enemy
This is everything you need to know to upgrade Double Magnet Stars! If you also want to know how to get the dies, that’s when you’re lucky, and that’s by shooting on the dies banner. There is a promotional banner , as well as for the character, where it is the only one where you can currently play the Bridge of Life SSR dies that serve Nemesis. In the permanent, you can get other SSR or SR matrices.
