Stone and Wood are two very important resources in Cult of the Lamb since we will need a lot of them to be able to create the different constructions that we will need for our sect to prosper in the ideal way.
Obtaining these resources is not complicated at all, but it is important that you know all the ways and above all that you quickly discover the best method to obtain both materials passively so that you have a constant source of them between making your raids.
As I did with the post to get a lot of food , I will start by explaining the active methods and after that the passive way, which in the end is the best. So nothing, I’ll leave the intro and let’s go with the subject in depth.
HOW TO GET STONE AND WOOD ACTIVELY IN CULT OF THE LAMB
This is all you can do to actively get Stone and Manner:
- At the beginning we will have our sect full of trees and stone areas and the key would be that you take advantage of it to extract all the wood and stone you can from there. Remember that you can send your followers to work on it to help you, but they are much slower than you. You are going to have to do it yes or yes because you need to clear the land to be able to build.
- In the raids you will see that some of the rooms (when it lets you choose which way to go) have a wooden or stone icon, if you choose those areas you will find areas loaded with these resources, so if you go lacking something they will come in handy. well choose them.
- When visiting other areas of the map (of the map outside the combat area) you can also find trees and areas where you can chop stone, so take advantage when you pass through there.
- Facing wood will occasionally grow trees in your sect . They will start as a kind of minitree, let them grow until they are big trees and after that you can cut them down to get the most resources.
GET THEM PASSIVELY
And now we really get into the matter because now is when we will talk about generating these two resources passively, which is what is cool in the end.
SAWMILL
The Sawmill is a building with a cost of 30 coins and 15 wood to which we can assign one of our followers to work there. By doing so, it will passively generate wood and of course we will obtain much more wood than we invest in its construction.
In order to create the Sawmill we will have to unlock it in the Divine Inspiration interface (interacting with our altar). You have the upgrades by following the path up from “Plot” so it won’t take too long to unlock it.
Do not forget to assign the job of collecting wood to one of your adepts to go there and keep in mind that the building has a chest in front of it where the adept will store the wood; you see collecting it by interacting with the chest.
Be careful because the building will end up destroyed after a while (it does not last forever), so you will have to be careful to place it again when this happens.
STONE MINE
The Stone Mine works exactly the same as the Sawmill but in it we can assign an adept as its worker to farm stone for us . The Stone Mine will cost us 30 coins and 10 stone units to build.
Unlocking is also through the Divine Inspiration interface and we have it right next to where we unlock the Sawmill.
The key is to keep these two buildings always built to generate these 2 resources passively while we focus on making our raids or on the different tasks that we as a sect leader have to manage. The more passive things you have, the better for you. Oh, and keep in mind that you can have all the Sawmills and Stone Mines you want (as long as you can keep the adepts working there, of course).
