by Today’s topic will be the Crystal Lily , an ascension material in Genshin Impact typical of Liyue that is closely linked to Ghizong, who was the Goddess of Dust and the creator of the Earth Lock.
Crystal Lilies are tall-stemmed flowers with bluish-toned petals; they are characterized by their petals that only open at night (so they are best collected after sunset).
There are very few Crystal Lilies in Liyue, there are only 39 of them. Which makes it one of the rarest materials along with Cecilia , Coral Pearl and Silk Flowers.
There are not many places to find them, we can only find them in various places scattered around Liyue City and also in the fields of Chingtse Village.
With this premise, let’s see the possible uses of the Crystal Lily and the best routes to collect it.
WHAT IS THE CRYSTAL LILY FOR IN GENSHIN IMPACT
The Crystal Lily is used as an ascension material for the following characters:
- none.
- Yunjin.
At the moment this material is only used by these 2 characters, but perhaps in the future we will have some more characters that need it for their ascension.
ALCHEMY: GEOCULUS RESONANCE ROCK
The Crystal Lily is one of the materials that we will need to synthesize the Geoculus Resonance Rock , an item that is quite useful if we only have a few Geoculus left to finish raising the Liyue statue to level 10. We will need the following materials:
- 5 Cor Lapis .
- 5 Crystal Lilies.
- 1 Piece of Crystal.
As you well know, you will have to go to an alchemy or synthesis table, you can find one in all the main cities (Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma…) and you can even have one in your Relaxteapot.
HOW TO GET CRYSTAL LILIES
We only have two locations and with few resources, which would be Liyue City and Chingtse Village . In addition, there is also an NPC that sells us some extra Crystal Lily, but I do not recommend it at all because they are very expensive.
LIYUE
In Liyue City we have 19 Crystal Lilies available to collect, first we go to the first teleportation point in Liyue City (the one next to the alchemy table) and behind the tree next to it we find the first three lilies.
The vast majority of the rest are found in the Yujing Terrace (the place where Madam Ping is) and there are also quite a few Silk Flowers around, so you can do a two for one.
CHINGTSE VILLAGE
In the case of Chingtse Village, if we look at the map and see the locations, you can see that these flowers only appear in a kind of mini flower fields that are delimited by a stone groove.
Therefore, the only thing you have to do is go through all of them and collect the lilies from each part, also on the way you will find several Jueyun Chiles that can be useful to cook some dishes or to ascend to Xiangling.
We must also remember that if we do this route with the Seedbed equipped, we will obtain seeds from the Crystal Lilies that we collect and later we can plant them in our Teapot Relax to have a few additional units.
MISS BAI
Miss Bai is about an NPC who is very close to the Chingtse Village teleportation point and sells us three units of Crystal Lilies at 50,000 Blackberries each (a steal like a cathedral, really).
