by Adan, the Fire Thief is another one of those Elden Ring bosses that more than bosses seem like a joke because of how easy they are; In fact, I would even tell you that this is the easiest boss I’ve defeated so far, perhaps even at the same level as Patches or the Scaly Bastard , which are other bosses that are quite laughable.
I’ll make a guide anyway because I want to make guides of all the bosses that I defeat, but anyway, I don’t think you need it at all; well, I guess you never know, but really this is very very very simple; As if that were not enough, even the boss himself is a little laughable when he sees it because we are used to seeing very impressive creatures and in the end you just have to see it… even his moveset is laughable, but anyway, I’m cool, let’s go with the guide.
LOCATION: ETERNAL PRISON OF THE EVILDOER
It’s that on top of that Adan is a boss of those from the Eternal Prison, who are usually very sucked (like Knight Hound Darriwil , Knight of the Crucible or Old Hero of Zamor ), it has to be on purpose.
Ignore the peephole on the map, which is a recycled photo from another post, you will find it where the Eternal Prison icon marks on the map (gray circle), right next to the bonfire called « South Shore of the Liurnia Wetland» . Getting there isn’t much of a mystery, if you don’t want to take a long detour or start jumping over the mountain with your horse, you should know that on the right side (where there is water) you have one of those windy areas to jump with the horse .
CRUCIBLE KNIGHT ATTACKS AND STRATEGY
I don’t think you need a strategy to defeat him, but anyway, we’re going to do the guide anyway.
Adan has quite weak attacks and very short range, on top of that the poor guy is quite small, so he has it complicated. Dodging him is super easy because he is also very very predictable, he reminds me a bit of Zote from Hollow Knight .
We are going to highlight a couple of them, the most relevant. The others are laughable, these actually too, but not so much:
- Fire Ball : A fire ball that will slowly fall towards you, the ball is quite small and I imagine it will do damage… I don’t know because it is so extremely easy to dodge it that I have no idea if it will do much damage or not; but what I said, you move away and that’s it.
- Dirty Combo : He will start hitting with his weapon again and again and again, the thing is that he has such a short range that it will be enough to move away a little and stare as the boss continues to attack the air. When finished jump + strong attack. On top of that, he doesn’t have much life, what a rubbish of a boss.
And little more to say, it already seems too much to me to have made a guide of this. I imagine that it can be challenging for someone who decides to play the game with their feet or with a guitar hero guitar as a controller; Although I don’t think so, if someone has reached him like this, this will make it easy for him too.
