As you probably know, in Blasphemous 2 at the start of the game we are asked to choose between three different weapons, each with a different combat style. Which by the way, among all of them I recommend that you choose Verdict, but let’s continue with the topic.
Well, you know that this choice is something purely temporary because we can get the other weapons that we did not choose at the beginning; in fact, this is something essential to be able to advance in the plot of the game since each weapon also allows you to solve certain “puzzles” and many of these will prevent us from going to certain areas if we do not solve them.
Come on, it is quite important that you get them, so here I will leave you the exact location of each one of them with great detail. And by the way, this is important, do not ignore the location of the weapon you chose at the beginning because in the place where you should pick up said weapon instead of getting it (you already have it), you will get a Figure that will increase the damage of the weapon you chose at the beginning of the game (in my case, as I chose Verdict, they gave me the statue of “The Anointed” that increases the damage caused by Verdict by 15%, which is not so bad).
By the way, if you’re here it’s probably because you want to get the most out of your Griever, but… don’t you also want to get the most out of your gaming set- up ? I don’t control too much of these things… but luckily for everyone at Gamerstreamer they do control more of these issues, so I recommend that you take a look, for example, at the best quality-price gaming monitors on their page.
Anyway, let’s continue with the location of the weapons!
I PRAY TO THE DAWN
Pray to the Dawn is the one-handed sword and is the most balanced weapon of all. It has very interesting combos (including a dive attack towards the ground) and a mechanic that allows us, in exchange for losing a little life, to boost the attacks of the Penitent a lot with mystical damage. Through the upgrades you can even heal yourself when attacking, which is of course very nice.
Its location is the one that I indicate in the photo above, it does not have much complication to get there really. This purple-colored area of the map is called « Crown of Towers » and it is where you will face the boss « Lesmes, Uncorrupted Sacristán » (the most difficult of the 3 Remorse in my opinion).
If you have not yet arrived in this area and do not know how to get there, I will tell you how to get there from “Ciudad del Santo Nombre” (the base city, Albero 2.0):
- You go to the right to enter “Rejas y Ruina”, the brownish yellow area (whatever that color is).
- From there you go a little to the right and as soon as you can pull up. You will end up reaching “Choir of the Brambles”, the dark green area.
- From there, to the right and upwards you will end up arriving at “Corona de Torres”.
SARMIENTO AND CENTELLA
Samiento y Centella is the fastest weapon of all (the double swords) and it is also very interesting because from the beginning we will have the typical attack after doing a dash , something that gives us a lot of offensive mobility. In addition, we can imbue it with electricity to cause more damage (the truth is that it is pretty cool). The only problem it has is that they have little range and the truth is that this is a drawback to take into account.
You have its location again in the photo right here above, where I have marked it with the arrow (this area is called « Palacio de los Setillos » and this is where the confrontation against Orospina takes place , I marked its location with a skull).
If you look where the arrow points there is a red square and a little further up to the left there is another square of the same color. You will have to go first to the one that does not have the arrow and there if you land on the ceiling lamp, you will fall down. Once you’ve fallen, roll to the right and you’ve got it.
The “Palace of the Setillos” is easy to find. You have to pull to the right again from “City of the Holy Name” to enter “Rejas y Ruina” (yellow zone), but instead of going to the green zone (“Choir of Brambles”) you continue to the right and you will end up arriving
VERDICT
Verdict is my favorite weapon, it has very good damage and also has a long range, which is very appreciated. In addition, we can imbue it with fire to cause more damage (you see that each weapon has its element) and we have certain attacks of this element; this will consume fervor, but also the weapon through improvements will allow us to get more fervor, which also allows you to use more Prayers or Verses. Of course, the big drawback that it has is that it is a somewhat slow weapon, but I recommend that you abuse its aerial attack a lot, since it does not leave you as exposed as the ground attack (something that I think I have already repeated many times in other Blasphemous 2 posts, but I say it as many times as necessary).
We will find Verdict in the ” Sacred Sepultures “, the area where we will face the Great Preceptor Radames . To get to this area of the map you must do the following:
- From “City of the Holy Name” you go along the path that is to the left of the whole going up some stairs to reach “Aqueducto de los Costales”. From there it is to go up and going to the left until eventually reaching the “Sacred Sepults”.
Once you get to “Sacred Graves” you will have to go to the location that I marked you in the photo above with a little arrow (not too well drawn, as always, tradition I suppose). You will end up unlocking that area as you get past this area, you will have to find some gadgets that make the sand of the site rise or fall.
