UNLOCK THE ROOM OF REQUIREMENT IN HOGWARTS LEGACY

UNLOCK THE ROOM OF REQUIREMENT IN HOGWARTS LEGACY

Did you know that in Hogwarts Legacy we can have a kind of base or own house (the typical area of yours that you can customize and use it to farm items and so on) in the Room of Requirement ? Well, that’s how it is and at least in my personal opinion, it’s a mechanic that I love.

The Room of Requirement would be a kind of rooms that belong to our character that we can decorate more or less at will (if we have the necessary materials of course) through “Transformation Spells” (which will allow us to remove furniture, add it, move it, edit them… the typical thing we go); In that sense, there are plenty of customization options.

But best of all, we can carry out certain tasks there that do add real utility to our game, such as planting plants, creating potions or identifying unknown equipment items (those with a question mark that we cannot equip until “restore” to call it somehow) among many other things.

    HOW TO UNLOCK IT

The Room of Requirement is a hoot and luckily we can unlock it relatively quickly and easily.

The first step will be to complete the mission in which we get our first broom , since it is after this that we will unlock the mission that will take us to the Room of Requirement; You can’t get the mission confused because this one is literally called “The Room of Requirement” .

The mission is quite simple, it is to go forward where they guide us and little else… you will end up reaching the room and Professor Weasley will explain a little how everything works in addition to providing you with the “Transformation Spells” that you will need to make use of the same. Anyway, now we explain in more detail everything that this room provides us with.

    THE TRANSFORMATION SPELLS

We have 3 Alteration Spells to interact with the room:

    • Summoning Spell : To summon the furniture.
    • Alteration Spell : With which we can alter the size and color of the furniture in the room and even the decorations that already come by default, such as changing the walls, the floor, the balcony… etc.
    • Evanesco : We will make the piece of furniture we throw it at disappear. In addition, we will also recover the Opal invested in it (which is the material that they ask us to summon the furniture and for everything in the Room of Requirement in general).

WHAT CAN WE SUMMON IN THE ROOM OF REQUIREMENT?

When using the Summoning Spell, an interface will open in which we will have the following things:

    • Objects to Brew Potions : The different Potion Stations.
    • Objects to Cultivate Plants : With the different Gardening Tables.
    • Utility Objects : We have several useful objects that will allow us to identify unknown pieces of equipment, enchant our equipment and even objects that passively generate Opal.
    • Wall Decorations : Wall shelves, shields, mirrors… that kind of thing.
    • Carpets : Of many types and shapes. Do not trust the color they have because you can totally change it later, as is the case with the vast majority of objects in the Room of Requirement.
    • Furniture : Shelves, screens, desks, cabinets… etc.
    • Ornaments : Floor lamps, sculptures, trophies, mannequins, floor clocks…
    • Cuadros : And of course, they move.
    • Seats : Chairs and sofas of different types. We even have footrests.
    • Tables : All kinds of tables, some quite curious, such as one that has a Chess table or another with a model of a Quidditch field on top.
    • Statues : There are a few, I will only say that there is one of a Unicorn, so the rest are completely ruled out. And you will say: “well, I can put one of Hippogriff for example and one of Unicorn…” mistake, put two of Unicorn.
    • Seasonal Decorations : Things related to festivities like Christmas or Halloween, I want to think that on the relevant dates they will add more decorations of this type.

Also say that you will need industrial quantities of Opal since all the constructions ask us for Opal, Opal and more? No, Opal and more Opal; so you know, collect everything you see lying around because there is not enough Opal in this world as you can for getting very serious with the Room of Requirement.

Oh, and another thing… we can change the atmosphere of our room by talking to Deek (the Elf), try them all to see which one you like best, I like the “moon effect”.

HOW TO ENTER THE ROOM OF REQUIREMENT (ALREADY UNLOCKED)

It will seem silly to you, but it was hard for me to see how to access the room again once we have it unlocked. You will have to do the following:

    1. You go to the map.
    2. Go to Hogwarts (from the map).
    3. In the menu on the left select « Secret Rooms ».
    4. Select “Room of Requirement” and hit travel.
