NEUVILLETTE GUIDE AND BUILD IN GENSHIN IMPACT

NEUVILLETTE GUIDE AND BUILD IN GENSHIN IMPACT

Neuvillette is a five-star Main DPS in Genshin Impact who stands out for executing special Charged Attacks that are lethal to his enemies and for scaling the damage of his skills based on the amount of Maximum Life that this character has in his build .

Their play style is “similar” to Tignari , since both spend very little time on the battlefield and have certain mechanics in their respective skill kits to greatly reduce the charge time of their Charged Attacks which will be the source Neuvillette damage main. In the case of Tignari, he reduces the charge of his arrows by executing his Elemental Skill and Neuvillette does the same by absorbing some Primal Drops that he creates with both his Ultimate Skill and his Elemental Skill.

Something to keep in mind about this character is that without his C1, it is very easy to interrupt his Charged Attacks and it can ruin the rotations of his team, so it is highly recommended to always accompany him with a character that gives him a very resistant shield .

NEUVILLETTE STATS

It has very unbalanced statistics and are very similar to those of Yelan ; These would be her parameters when promoting her to level 90:

  • Base Life: 14,695.
  • Base Attack: 208.
  • Base Defense: 576.
  • Critical Damage: 38.4%.

His Base Attack and Base Defense are quite low, the Attack does not matter to us because it is of no use to him and his Defense is not a big problem, since fortunately he is one of the characters that has the highest Base Life in all of Genshin Impact . By promoting him we will increase his Critical Damage, one of the best statistics they could give us.

TALENTS OR SKILLS

Let’s look at your talents or skills.

NORMAL ATTACK: AQUATIC BACKWATER

When executing his Normal Attacks, he uses his staff to control the waves of the sea that will inflict Hydro Damage to enemies.

  • Normal Attack : Perform a combo of up to three hits.
  • Charged Attack : Consumes stamina to attack enemies with a hydrohoop.
  • Descending Attack : We will hit the ground causing a blow that causes Hydro Damage in the area.

ENHANCED ATTACK: PROCEDURAL WARNING

By keeping Neuvillette’s Charged Attack pressed, a shield will be generated that will allow him to transform his Charged Attack into Equanimous Judgment; While we are in this mode, we can move around the battlefield with the characters to collect the Primal Drops that are there.

These Primal Drops can be created by using Neuvillette’s Elemental Skill and Ultimate Skill, they will serve to heal the character himself and to accelerate the process of charging the emblem that will allow us to activate his Charged Attack: Equal Judgment.

If the emblem does not finish charging, we will execute a normal Charged Attack that will scale based on Neuvillette’s Attack, so we have to make sure that he is fully charged to execute his Charged Attack: Even Judgment whose damage scales based on the Maximum Neuvillette Life.

CHARGED ATTACK: EVEN JUDGMENT

While Neuvillette executes this attack, it creates powerful torrents that deal area Hydro Damage to all enemies in a straight line in front of Neuvillette, the damage of this Charged Attack will increase based on Neuvillette’s Maximum Health.

The duration of this attack is 3 seconds and we will not consume stamina when executing it, but we will lose Life continuously while executing it if Neuvillette’s Life is above 50%.

ELEMENTAL SKILL: LAMENT OF REPARATION

  • ToE: 12s.
  • Primal Drop Duration: 15 seconds.
  • Ability Damage: 23.16% of Maximum Health (level 10)

Upon casting this Elemental Skill, Neuvillette will summon a tumultuous waterfall that will deal AoE Hydro Damage to enemies in front of him; Additionally, when hitting an enemy using this Elemental Skill, we will create 3 Primal Drops at their location.

Compared to his Charged Attack: Lament of Redress, it is not that it is a particularly damaging ability, but it will help us launch the Charged Attack without having to charge it by absorbing the Primal Drops and to generate Elemental Energy that will help us charge the ulti.

Arjé: Pneuma

  • Halitospiritual Thorn Interval: 10 s.
  • Halitospiritual Thorn Damage: 37.44% (level 10).

Every 10 seconds, when Neuvillette attacks an enemy with a tumultuous waterfall, a Halitospiritual Thorn charged with Pneuma energy will fall  on an enemy.

ULTI: SHADOWHUNTER AMBUSH

  • Energy Cost: 70.
  • ToE: 18s.
  • Ability Damage: 40.06% of Maximum Health (level 10).
  • Tumultuous Cascade Damage: 16.39 Maximum Health (level 10).

First, this Ultimate Skill will create a tidal wave that will deal AoE Hydro Damage based on Neuvillette’s Max Health. After a few seconds, two tumultuous waterfalls similar to the one Neuvillette launches when he uses his Elemental Skill will emerge.

These tumultuous waterfalls have a smaller area than the first attack we generate when launching this Ultimate Skill and when they disappear, they will leave 6 Primal Drops on the field relatively close to Neuvillette.

PASSIVE 1: LEGATEE OF ALL WATER

Every 1% of Neuvillette’s current Health above 30% of his Maximum Health will cause him to gain a 0.6% Hydro Damage Bonus. We can obtain a maximum of 30% Hydro Damage Bonus this way.

To maintain the maximum of this Hydro Damage Bonus, Neuvillette’s Life bar must be maintained at least 80% of his Maximum Health . This is something that will be very complex to maintain, as it constantly loses Life while executing its Charged Attack: Even Judgment.

PASSIVE 2: FLUX CAPACITOR

When any team member generates a Vaporize, Freeze, Electrocharge, Bloom, Hydro Whirlwind, or Hydro Crystallize Elemental Reaction, Neuvillette will gain a stack of this Passive Talent for 30 seconds (at most, he can have 3 stacks).

Each stack you receive will increase the damage of your Charged Attack: Even Judgment by 110%/125%/160% of your original damage, and the duration of each stack of this Passive Talent is independent of the rest you have obtained.

This Passive Talent is very interesting because it increases the damage of the Charged Attack significantly, the problem is that to obtain the maximum damage bonus we would have to have a team composed of four different elements (and despite that, it can be difficult to maintain all 3 accumulations).

This is something we can fix if we have his first Constellation, as it makes Neuvillette have a charge of this Passive Talent as soon as he comes onto the battlefield.

PASSIVE 3: MARINE IMPETUOSITY

This Passive Skill will increase our characters’ speed when sprinting underwater by +15% while Neuvillette is in the team; This Passive Skill cannot be stacked with others that have the same effects.

It is not a particularly useful passive, it will simply allow us to move a little faster when performing Underwater Exploration in Fontaine.

CONSTELLATIONS

These are the benefits that Neuvillette is obtaining through its Constellations:

  • C1 – Eminent Ordinance : As soon as Neuvillette enters the battlefield, he gets a charge of his Passive Talent called “Legatee of All Water”. Additionally, this Constellation increases the Interruption Resistance of his Empowered Attack: Procedural Warning and his Charged Attack: Even Judgment.
  • C2 – Lawful Mandate : Every time we get a charge of Neuvillette’s Passive Talent called “Legatee of All Water”, the Critical Damage of the Charged Attack: Even Judgment will increase by 14%, being able to accumulate a maximum of 3 times and therefore reaching to grant a +42% bonus to the Critical Damage of said Charged Attack upon achieving all three charges.
  • C3 – Past Fiction : Increases Normal Attacks by 3 levels, can be increased up to 15 levels.
  • C4 – Culminating Mercy : Once every 4 seconds. Neuvillette will create a Primal Drop on the battlefield when healed.
  • C5 – Axiomatic Failure : Increases the Ultimate Skill by 3 levels, it can be increased up to 15 levels.
  • C6 – Atrabiliary Retribution : When Neuvillette executes his Charged Attack: Even Judgment, he will absorb the Primal Drops that are nearby in a certain area and will increase the duration of said attack by one second for each Primal Drop absorbed. Additionally, his Charged Attack now unleashes two additional torrents that deal Hydro Damage proportional to 10% of Neuvillette’s Maximum Health (this attack is considered Charged Attack damage).

His C1 is quite necessary and is something that I think should be in his base kit, since this is what makes it not so easy to interrupt his Charged Attacks and what gives us the possibility of making more flexible teams, since It makes Neuvillette have a charge of his Passive Talent when he goes out on the field and we will not need to have a team with four different elements to increase the damage of his Charged Attack: Even Judgment as much as possible.

THE BEST BUILD FOR NEUVILLETTE ( MAIN DPS )

His build is practically the same as that of any other DPS , the only difference is that Attack is a completely useless attribute for Neuvillette and instead we will have to focus on increasing his Maximum Life as much as we can.

RECOMMENDED WEAPONS FOR NEUVILLETTE

These are some of the greatswords with which we can equip our Neuvillette:

  • Scriptures of the Everlasting Flow ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: This weapon is insane for Neuvillette, it deals an exaggeratedly high amount of Critical Damage, increases his Life, increases the damage of his Charged Attacks, and even helps him regenerate some Elemental Energy .
  • Auric Flow Overseer ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: Provides Critical Chance and can greatly increase the damage of Neuvillette’s Charged Attacks, but will not take advantage of the Attack increase provided by this catalyst’s passive.
  • Sacrificial Jade ⭐⭐⭐⭐: Grants a high amount of Critical Chance to its wearer while increasing their Life% and Elemental Mastery if certain conditions are met.
  • Amber Prototype  ⭐⭐⭐⭐: Your best F2P weapon , because it gives you a fairly high amount of Life% and when casting the Ultimate Skill, the wielder will recover a certain amount of Elemental Energy while providing some healing for the entire team .

It is not advisable to equip him with the Jadefall Twinkle or the Unchangeable Moon , since although both catalysts provide him with a large amount of Life with which he can increase the damage of his abilities and his Charged Attack, his passives fit quite poorly with the play style. of Neuvillette.

BEST ARTIFACTS

Ghost Hunter in Genshin Impact

Regarding statistics on artifacts:

  • Helmet or Crown : Chance of Critical or Critical Damage.
  • Clock : Life %.
  • Chalice : Hydro Damage Bonus.

Substats you are looking for:

  • Priority: Critical Chance, Critical Damage, % Health and Energy Recharge.

And as for the Artifact Set, we recommend the following options:

  • Ghost Hunter :
    • 2 Pieces : +15% damage to Normal and Charged Attacks.
    • 4 Pieces : +12% Critical Chance when the character’s Life increases or decreases, this effect can be accumulated up to 3 times and each accumulation lasts 5 seconds.

This set fits very well into Neuvillette’s skill kit, since his main source of damage is the Charged Attacks he performs and the two-piece Ghost Hunter bonus will increase the damage of these by 15% permanently.

On the other hand, the four-piece set gives him a +12% Critical Chance every time he gains or loses Life, this effect can be accumulated three times and Neuvillette will have no problem getting these charges, since this character loses He continuously lives while executing his Charged Attacks and can heal himself multiple times with the Primal Drops he generates with both his Elemental Skill and his Ultimate Skill.

As an optional set we would have the following:

  • Heart of the Depths :
    • 2 Pieces : +15% Hydro Damage Bonus.
    • 4 Pieces : When using the Elemental Skill, it will increase the damage of Normal and Charged Attacks by 30% for 15 seconds.

Also a very good option, since the two pieces of this set give us +15% to Neuvillette’s Hydro Damage Bonus and all his skills and even his Normal, Charged and Falling Attacks are imbued with the Hydro Element when he is a user. catalyst, so this will be good for us to enhance its damage.

The four-piece set increases the damage of your Charged Attacks by 30% for 15 seconds when the character uses his Elemental Skill. As we have mentioned before, his main source of damage is his Charged Attacks and this will come in handy to enhance this type of attacks (in fact, this bonus is double what the two-piece Ghost Hunter set gives us).

Both sets of artifacts are very good for Neuvillette, so I recommend that you choose his set based on the weapon you are going to equip him and the set you have with the best stats.

BEST TEAMMATES

Yae Miko in Genshin Impact

These are some of the characters that can accompany Neuvillette on his team:

  • Electro Characters : To enable Electrocharged and/or Overbloom Elemental Reactions.
    • Yae Miko : With her kitsune cherry trees she can cover a good part of the battlefield and generate a lot of damage passively.
    • Fischl : It is a very similar alternative to Yae Miko but covers a smaller area, although it applies much more Electro than her.
    • Shogun Raiden : His Elemental Skill is also perfect for generating many Elemental Reactions and his Ultimate Skill will be very useful for recharging the ultis of the group’s companions.
    • Kuki Shinobu : He can cover the Healer position for usand generates a lot of damage when performing Elemental Overbloom Reactions, but we will have to play Neuvillette quite close to the enemies to ensure that Kuki’s Elemental Skill ring can reach them.
    • Dori : It gives us pretty decent healing and will help us recharge the entire team’s ultis.
  • Hydro Characters : Having another Hydro Element character on the team will help Neuvillette recharge his ulti faster and increase his Base Health by 25%, which will boost all his damage.
    • Mona : We are very interested in the damage bonus that Mona’s Ultimate Skill grants by affecting enemies with her bubble to increase the damage of Neuvillette’s Charge Attack.
    • Nilou : She will be a very good companion in compositions in which we only have Dendro and Hydro characters, since her Passive Talents make the Dendro Cores in Elemental Bloom Reactions generate much greater damage and explode sooner.
    • Sangonomiya Kokomi / Barbara : They will cover the position of Healer while allowing us to create multiple Dendro Cores to execute Blooms or Overblooms.
  • Cryo Characters : We can include at least one character of this element to keep enemies Frozen.
    • Laila : It will allow us to have Neuvillette protected under his shield at all times, which will help us a lot so that his Charged Attacks are not interrupted.
    • Diona : Her shields are not as good as Laila’s, but she can also provide healing.
    • Rosaria : Her Ultimate Skill is a good source of passive damage and will allow us to keep enemies Frozen.
    • Shenhe : Doesn’t apply much Cryo or much passive damage, but her pulsed Elemental Skill can increase the damage of Neuvillette’s Charged Attacks by 15%.
  • Pyro Characters : To create Vaporizing and/or Crackling Elemental Reactions.
    • Xiangling : Her Ultimate Skill deals a lot of passive damage and will allow us to generate several Elemental Vapor Reactions with Neuvillette.
    • Dehya : The fiery siege of her Elemental Skill will make a coordinated attack that deals passive damage when enemies within it take damage.
  • Dendro Characters : They will help us generate Dendro Cores to enable Elemental Reactions of Blooming, Overblooming or Crackling.
    • Kirara : It will provide solid shields that will help us not be interrupted by Neuvillette’s Charged Attacks, remember that a large shield at the end means that it may not be necessary to heal (except when there is corrosion) and prevents them from stunning the character on the field.
    • Nahida : Her Elemental Skill will be great for creating Dendro Cores and her Ultimate Skill will increase the Elemental Mastery of the entire group to increase the damage of their Elemental Reactions.
    • Dendro Traveler / Collei : We will mainly be interested in the Ultimate Skills of these characters to apply Dendro to enemies and be able to create several Dendro Cores.
    • Baizhu / Yaoyao : To fill the position of Healer .
  • Geo Characters : It will allow us to perform Crystallization to obtain shields that will help Neuvillette not be interrupted.
    • Zhongli : Provides a very resistant shield when using its Elemental Skill that will prevent enemies from interrupting Neuvillette’s Charged Attacks and if we are close to the enemies while we have the shield active, their Elemental and Physical Resistances will be reduced by 20% .
  • Anemo Characters : It will be very useful for us to put at least one character of the Anemo element to control the enemies and lower their Elemental Resistances with the help of the Emerald Green Shadow artifact set .
    • Kazuha : In addition to lowering resistances with the aforementioned set, it will create Elemental Damage Bonuses that will be useful for Neuvillette or for another character who passively inflicts damage on the team.
    • Lynette : Her Ultimate Skill is quite durable and will allow us to reduce the Elemental Resistances of enemies for a long time even if this character is not active on the field. The only bad thing is that the Attack bonus that her passive gives her is useless for Neuvillette, but it will benefit other of her teammates.
    • Venti : He is one of the best characters when it comes to controlling enemies, but he will not be very useful to us in single target battles . He will also be able to restore 15 points of Elemental Energy to Neuvillette if performing Venti’s Ultimate Skill causes him to undergo an elemental change with Hydro.
