There are a total of 5 Quicksilver dotted around Cvstodia and certainly none of them are too far-fetched in general; It is a fairly affordable “collectible” to obtain and on top of that it is very useful since, after all, improving the Flasks is something that will come in handy for every Penitente.
BIRTH IN BLASPHEMOUS
Birth is the NPC to whom we must give the Azogue in Blasphemous; NPC that will appear only having the Stir of Dawn DLC if we are in NG+ (new game +). You will find it in a new room just below the Albero that you access from Profaned Aljibe.
Be careful, because in addition to Quicksilver, we will also need Empty Bile Flasks to apply the improvement (let’s say the idea is to lose a Flask to empower all the others). Keep in mind that the fact that each one of them heals more than having an extra one ends up spreading more; It seems not but it ends up spreading.
Likewise, if you want to finish the entire Birth quest, you’re going to have to make it to the end by giving him all 5 Quicksilvers. We won’t talk about what happens to it due to spoilers, but come on, in a game where “so beautiful” things happen to everyone, well, you can get an idea.
QUICKSILVER #1 – THE HOLY LINE
To find the first Azogue you must go to ” La Santa Línea “, specifically to its checkpoint, since I will guide you from there. This is the area that links Albero with the Silent Lament Brotherhood (where we started, come on).
The case, that from this checkpoint you must go to the room on the right. In this room, you advance a little and you will find a kind of “hole” as with mud. You must perform the downward jump attack (the one where you fall to the ground swinging the sword downwards like Link does in Smash Bros) and a new path will open.
From there there is no loss, you will have to go to the right and you will find it at the end. You will also have to do this to unlock Stir of Dawn content (which Quicksilver itself is also part of said DLC).
QUICKSILVER #2 – GALLERY OF DAWN
The second Quicksilver is super easy to find. You can find it in the Gallery of Dawn, a newly added area in Stir of Dawn that is attached to the Three Calvaries Bridge. It is just that room where there is a large mirror and some statues of the dawn, where by defeating them all we unlock a room to the right where we will battle against Laudes .
If you look at where the cursor marks in the photo (I’ve recycled it from the Laudes post hahaha) in the brown room below, well, just the one on the left.
QUICKSILVER #3 – COURTYARD OF THE DEAF WALKERS
For the third Quicksilver you are going to allow me to recycle the photo above again (that photo is going to spread fabric) because its location is also in said photo. It is specifically located in the ” Patio de los Caminares Deaf “, which is the green area.
As you will see in the photo, there is like a green area that rises a lot and goes towards «Muralla de las Santas Perdiciones». Well, you will find the Azogue in the green area that is higher. You must access from there “going up” from the room that connects in Patio de los Caminares Deaf. Note that you will need the Relics of Blood Perpetuated in Sand and Three Gnarled Tongues to get there.
QUICKSILVER #4 – SERRANÍA DEL OCASO PERPETUO
For the next Azogue we will have to go to Serranía del Ocaso Perpetuo . Specifically to the room that is to the right of the checkpoint that is furthest to the right on the map. There you will have to find this area, which is easily recognizable by the 2 people crucified in fire, I leave you an equal photo:
You must jump into the void having the Gold Thread Canvas Relic equipped. If you do not have it, here is a guide with the location of all the Relics.
You will reach an area of Ecos de Sal. From there there is no loss, go to the left and you will end up reaching a very dark room where you will find the Quicksilver.
QUICKSILVER #5 – SLEEPING CANVASES
The last Quicksilver is not difficult to get, but it is true that it is in one of the most hateful areas of the game: Sleeping Canvases (although it is now a little easier).
I leave you the exact location with a photo that is a bit of a hassle to explain it in words, you will understand it better that way.
Follow the route that I indicate from the Sanctuary or Checkpoint and you will end up arriving at a room where you will have to go through a somewhat bloody corridor with those crappy golden enemies and with those fantastic pendulum axes (which you will also find on the way there) that so many good times have made you spend.
If you don’t want to scratch yourself a lot, you have the easy way, which is to equip the Prayer of Tento to your Thorny Hair, a prayer that immunizes you from all damage for a while (including that of the damn axes, not that of the spikes, your worst enemy in Blasphemous); holy hand for these things. Praise be to Tento to your Thorny Hairs, but remember that our true god is the Debla of Lights.
