by The Empty Receptacles are one of the Blasphemous 2 Collectibles related to the improvement of the Bile Flasks, which for those who do not know, are the “potions” that we can use to cure our Griever.
These Receptacles will allow us to increase the number of Bile Flasks that the Penitent has, something that I think goes without saying will be very useful in our penance in order to deal with all the damage that we will inevitably receive while we play.
We will start the game with 2 Biliary Flasks and we can get 4 more, so in total we can have 6 Biliary Flasks when we get them all.
HOW TO IMPROVE THE QUANTITY OF BILE FLASKS
To improve the Bile Flasks we have to talk to an NPC whose name I honestly have no idea (does anyone know?), so we will provisionally call her “The Chalice Girl “ . I have added her photo to the beginning of the post. It will also allow us to increase our health and the potency of our Bile Flasks.
You will find it in “City of the Holy Name”, its location is marked on the map with a kind of blood drop icon, it is not very lost to be honest.
RECEPTACLE #1: DEEP LAMENTS
The first Empty Receptacle is extremely easy to obtain, in fact you can get it almost at the beginning of the game. You will find it in “Deep Laments”, and not in a very sought-after area exactly. You can see the exact location in the photo above, you see that it is just below the “City of the Holy Name” .
By taking the object that is there we will have to overcome one of those battles in which various enemies appear and after defeating them we will obtain the Receptacle.
VESSEL #2: RAISED TEMPLES
The second Empty Receptacle is also quite easy to obtain, we will find it in the Raised Temples (the area that is unlocked by defeating the 3 Regrets) and the “only” requirement to obtain it (apart from being able to cling to the walls, which we get almost at the beginning of the game) is to have the double jump ability (which if you don’t have it, you can get it after defeating this boss ).
You will have to go to the area that I marked in the photo and follow the path from where I have drawn the line and until you reach the green point, which is where you will find the Receptacle. There’s not much mystery to it, it’s doing a double jump to grab the wall and then hitting the mirror again with a double jump with Sarmiento and Centella to teleport right where the object is.
Oh, notice that just to the left of where the path that I have painted in the photo begins, I have added a “blue round” indicator, there is a Rosary Knot .
VESSEL #3: THE SEVERED TOWER
We will find the third in the “La Torre Cercenada”, an area that if you have not reached yet it is because you have to progress further in the story. Here it will be necessary to have the ” Protection of the Kindred ” Skill (the one of the cherubs with rings that we can use to hang ourselves), if you don’t have it, know that you can find it in the same area (Severed Tower) at the top.
First you will have to go where I indicate in the photo with a kind of “x” since you will have to activate a mechanism there. The map is a bit confusing, but you follow the route that I indicate in the photo from the checkpoint . After this you will have to go to the area where I mark you with the green dot (in the room where my Penitent is in the photo, it is painted blue) using the “Protection of the Kindred” ability. You will have to overcome a somewhat complex battle before, of course.
RECEPTACLE #4: DAUGHTERS OF MOURNING
The last of all is perhaps the most far-fetched since it is related to another “collectible”, specifically with the “Daughters of Mourning”, which are those girls lying on a bed for whom we have to blow out a candle and then go to where their mother to perform a series of combat challenges to obtain various rewards. I won’t go into much more detail because I will make a guide about this specific collectible later, but you probably know what I’m talking about unless you haven’t been playing Blasphemous 2 for a very short time.
As soon as we find 3 daughters and overcome the challenges relevant to each one that we can perform by talking to the Mother of the Daughters of Mourning, we will obtain this last Empty Vessel.
