by Today I bring you what is undoubtedly one of the guides that has taken me the most pain to create for Blasphemous 2 , but hey, how good it feels when you have completed it. This is the location of all the Cherubs in the game.
We already had them in Blasphemous 1 and in the sequel we will have to find them again. There are a total of 33 spread throughout the game map and below I showed you the location of each of them ordered by area (I thought it was easier to understand that way).
I will tell you which ones you can find in each area of the game, I will show you a photo where I will mark their exact location using the Cherub icon that the game itself provides us with and I will also explain how to find them through text since there are some that are quite far-fetched and probably The photo is not enough. Let’s go there!
NPC LOCATION: GARDEN OF THE HIGH CHOIRS
To find the NPC (called ” Next ” or “Guardian of the Garden”) who we must train the Cherubs, we will have to go to the Garden of the High Choirs. It is not difficult to get there, as you can see you can access it from “Acueducto de los Costales” or from “Templos Alzados”.
CHERUBS BY MAP ZONE
Below I show you all the Cherubs ordered by area . You will see that in the title of each zone there is a kind of number in parentheses, it is the number of Cherubs that are in each zone.
ALTAS PIEDRAS GORGE (2)
Cherubs of Quebrada de Altas Piedras:
- Cherub on the right : This one has no mystery, we have it in the air in the marked area.
- Cherub on the left : We need the skill “Protection of the Kindred” (that of the Cherub Rings), if you do not have it you will see that you have a part of the map of this area undiscovered.
CITY OF THE HOLY NAME (3)
Cherubs of the City of the Holy Name:
- About the Prie Dieu : From the Prie Dieu (the checkpoint ), go left, go up the stairs, double jump to reach the terrace and from there you will see the Cherub on the right in the air.
- Near the Lady of the Chalices .
- The one on the right : Go to the far right of the area, go up the stairs, hit the bell with Verdict and get on the platform that is higher on the left (you need the Double Jump and also the Air Dash ) .
DEEP LAMENT (1)
Cherubs of Deep Lament:
You hit the Bell with Verdict and little else, you have it in the area just to the right of the Prie Dieu .
LOS COSTALES AQUEDUCT (3)
- The one closest to “Holy Name City” : Go where I tell you and use Verdict to hit the bell, go up the platforms and that’s it.
- The one on the far left : You will have to overcome one of those time trials when interacting with those statues of stone girls, it is quite complicated (one of the most difficult for me), but it is possible.
- The other : Where I tell you.
SACRED TOMBS (1)
There is only one but it is something far-fetched. Go to the nearby Prie Dieu and go to the far right of the area until you can go to a higher area that has a hole in the wall. Enter through the gap and then jump to the left to anchor yourself to the wall . Then you anchor to the area above where you have anchored and jump to hit the Cherub.
BARS AND RUIN (1)
The one in Rejas y Ruina has no mystery.
PALACE OF THE SETILLOS (1)
We only have one and it is not very complicated, we will have to use Sarmiento and Centella to hit the mirrors that teleport us.
CHOIR OF THE BRAMBLES (2)
Cherubs from Choir of the Brambles:
- Right : In the area I marked, but be careful, it is semi-hidden behind the tree leaves that cover the top of the screen.
- Left : Same as the previous case.
CROWN OF TOWERS (2)
Cherubs of Crown of Towers:
- The one below : You have it in the Prie Dieu room . You will need the Double Jump to reach it.
- The one above : Go to the area I indicate in the photo and you will see it.
MOTHER OF MOTHERS (2)
- The one on the left : You will have to use Sarmiento and Centella’s teleportation ability several times on the flying mirrors and you will end up seeing it.
- The one on the right : Hit the bell below with Verdict and use the platforms to reach it. You will need the Double Jump.
UNDER ITS FLOORS (1)
It’s very simple, you will have to stand on the platform that is right above it. You drop down, jump in the air and hit him.
RAISED TEMPLES (4)
Bottom:
- The one on the right : It is on the right side of the screen quite hidden.
- The one on the left : Drop from one of the floors in the area (the action of crouching and pressing the jump button to cross a platform down) and hit the air.
Upper part:
- The one on the right : It is quite hidden, you will have to go to the area just below where it is marked in the photo and from there grab a wall with the double jump to reach it.
- The one on the left : Very visible if you go to the area.
WAKE STREETS (1)
It only has one Cherub and is relatively easy to find. You have to go to the area just to the right of where the photo marks and you will have to get on the aerial platforms to go to the left since you have to enter the area marked by the upper entrance . From there, continue to the left along the platforms and you will reach it.
BASILICA OF THE ABSENT FACES (1)
For this one I won’t even add a photo because it’s very easy to tell you where it is. You have to go to the Prie Dieu which is at the top of the area and go to the right (this is where we had the battle against Benedicta), there you have it.
By the way, get on the elevator at the top and jump up to find a little surprise .
INK SEA (1)
You will see that it is very high up and I already told you that there is no way to get to it unless you use the Double Jump and then use the ” Forge and Thunder Hammer ” Verse .
SUNKEN CATHEDRAL (1)
You go to the area that I indicate in the photo and little else, it is not very hidden, you will see it.
BAJAMAR DAEDALUS (2)
Cherubs of Daedalus of Bajamar:
- The one below : You should have no problems finding it if you go to the area in the image.
- The one above : This one is easy to miss. Right from the entrance to “La Torre Cercenada” but without actually entering, double jump to the left and you will see it.
THE SEVERED TOWER (2)
The two Cherubs in this area are very hidden:
- The one on the left : Go to the area (you will have to use “Wardrobe of the Kindred”) and hit the wall on the right.
- The one on the right : Another hidden wall (I already told you that the ones in this area have fabric). In the photo you can easily see which wall in question is.
TWO MOONS (2)
Cherubs of Two Moons:
- The one above : Little to say in this one, you will have to go to the area through the upper entrance and from there use “Amparo de los Vástagos”.
- The one below : You can get there using Double Jump + Air Dash + Verdict hit (very fair, but I could do it). You can also use the “Forge and Thunder Hammer” Verse to make things easier.
REWARDS
As you have found more Cherubs and talk to the “Next” NPC (the large Cherub), they will create platforms that will allow you to climb the tower of the Garden of the High Choirs. These are the rewards you will get:
- 1 Mark of Martyrdom.
- 2 Marks of Martyrdom.
- Proximo’s Obolus: A Rosary Bead that increases the Tears of Amendment we get.
- 3 Marks of Martyrdom.
- When you get all:
- 4 Marks of Martyrdom
- Giant Jingle Bell: You have to give it to the Guardian of the Garden (the big Cherub at the bottom) and he will give you “Memory of the Next” in exchange. If you give it to Montañés (the sculptor) you will get the “Next” Figure (you will cause damage to nearby enemies when they hit you).
- Gregal : Being at the highest part of the tower, do a double jump in the area on the left to anchor yourself to the wall and climb until you reach the chest. This Figure regenerates Penitent’s Fervor little by little passively and is one of the Figures necessary to achieve the Good Ending of the game .
