by The Axiom of the Kagura is a 5-star Catalyst from Genshin Impact that has been designed to be insanely good on Yae Miko as it will greatly boost the damage she deals.
The Catalyst as such is very good, it simply has the problem that its passive is only used well by Yae Miko since it depends on being able to use the Elemental Skill 3 times in a row and that is something that only she can do today… no I like that they do this with weapons, that they’re so niche for a single character and we seem to see that a lot lately.
For what we’re going, now we see her better and so on, but I wouldn’t recommend her unless you have Yae Miko on your account. Let’s see, as always, the analysis of it and at the end the character recommendations, that you will already have an idea of what that section will be like.
KAGURA AXIOM ATTRIBUTES IN GENSHIN IMPACT
These are the stats of the Kagura Axiom:
- Base Attack Level 1: 46
- Base Attack Level 90: 608
Like any 5-star weapon, it has a good base attack, the same as all 5-star Catalysts except for Celestial Scroll, which has a bit more.
- Critical Damage Level 1: 14.4%
- Critical Damage Level 90: 66.2%
Critical Damage is in my opinion the best stat that a weapon can have in general terms and it must be said that 66.2% is super good , so we are off to a very good start. However, it is in the passive where he defines his own path.
The passive effects are the following:
- When using the Elemental Skill we will obtain a 12% damage increase (24% in R5) in the Elemental Skill that will last 16 seconds and that can be accumulated 3 times.
- Having 3 stacks will give you 12% (24% on R5) Bonus Elemental Damage from each element.
You see that if you get all 3 charges it’s a blast, a huge damage increase to the Elemental Ability and a decent Elemental Damage Bonus as well. The problem is that we don’t have characters that can spam the Elemental Skill enough to have all 3 charges, which is when things really take off… actually we only have one, which is the obvious one and the one we’re going to recommend for you. put it on
WHAT CHARACTER DO I PUT IT ON?
The choice today is obvious, the only character that can spam 3 times his Elemental Ability and have all 3 charges:
Yae Miko has a mechanic with which she can use her Elemental Ability 3 times because the idea of this character is to put 3 totems on the field that will do damage (1 for each Elemental Ability you do) and therefore we will obtain the 3 charges and we will make the most of it (and we will increase the damage of the totems and also the elemental damage in general to also enhance its Ulti that hits a lot). In her Catalyst, there is no more, and if you get Yae Miko and the Kagura Axiom, the choice is obvious.
Other characters:
- You can really put it on almost any character, especially Main DPS, but of course… you will not take 100% advantage of the passive and that is a big drawback. It gives us a good base attack, a lot of Critical Damage and we would get at least 12% damage with the elemental… it’s not that bad, but we usually have other weapons where the passive is better used and they will end up spreading more. A pity, lately they do a lot of this 5-star weapons that are practically only viable for the character for which they were conceived and the truth is that that is a bummer.
