IS THE FLORIFEROUS FLOOD WORTH IT IN GENSHIN?

IS THE FLORIFEROUS FLOOD WORTH IT IN GENSHIN?

The Floriferous Deluge is a totally free 4-star Light Sword that we can obtain as a reward only during the Genshin Impact version 3.3 event called “Akitsu’s Trial of Valor”.

It is a sword whose main attraction will be the amount of Elemental Mastery that it will give us, since the effect of its Passive Ability does not quite fit with the characters that carry this type of weapon and it will also only mark a single enemy.

The good thing is that if you needed more than one Iron Thorn because you have both Kaedehara Kazuha and Kuki Shinobu built, then you will have an alternative to equip them without having to create two identical weapons and raise both to level 90 (and thus you do not need to spend more sword prototypes).

ATTRIBUTES OF THE FLORIFEROUS FLOOD IN GENSHIN IMPACT

Let’s start with his stats:

  • Base Attack Level 1: 42.
  • Base Attack Level 90: 510.

From the outset we have a medium Base Attack within what we find in a four-star sword, as is the case with Kagotsurube Isshin , Lion’s Roar and Poisonous Wish.

Let’s continue with its secondary attribute, which is where things start to get good:

  • Elemental Mastery Level 1: 36.
  • Elemental Mastery Level 90: 165.

If we raise it to level 90 it will give us 165 Elemental Mastery points which are not bad at all; Interestingly, its Base Attack and Elemental Mastery stats are exactly the same as Iron Thorn , so it can be a good substitute for it if you don’t have it.

His Passive Skill confers the following effect:

  • When hitting an enemy we will apply the “enchanted umbrella” effect, this effect will cause the wielder of this weapon to deal 16% (32% in R5) more damage to the affected enemy for 10 seconds. The enchanted umbrella effect triggers once every 15 seconds, but if the enemy is defeated while under the effect, the TOE will be nullified.

It’s not that it’s a great effect, as it will only mark one enemy and this won’t be very useful for us in non-World Boss fights and things like that where we only have to deal with a single enemy.

Also, an effect like this would mainly interest us in characters whose role is that of Main DPS and these usually tend to prioritize other things over Elemental Mastery.

WHAT CHARACTER DO I PUT IT ON?

Its Passive Ability is not particularly good, so we are going to look for characters that are interested in the amount of Elemental Mastery that this sword gives us.

Kaedehara Kazuha in Genshin Impact

Kaedehara Kazuha is a character that grants Elemental Damage Bonuses when performing Whirlwinds with Pyro, Electro, Hydro or Cryo and the amount of this bonus is regulated based on the Elemental Mastery that this character possesses; This is why he is usually equipped with the Iron Thorn (in the absence of Oath of Freedom ) and why we can equip him with this event weapon in case the thorn has not been manufactured.

The Passive Skill that will mark the enemy will not help us much, since the only passive damage we have on Kazuha is that of his Ulti and it is not that impressive either (Whirlwinds will not increase their damage for this bonus, only for Mastery). Elementary).

Kuki Shinobu in Genshin Impact

Kuki Shinobu is without a doubt one of the best characters to bring on Overbloom teams thanks to her Elemental Ability. This will allow us to explode many seeds constantly and to increase the damage of this Elemental Reaction we will need Elemental Mastery through a tube; that is why this weapon can be a good option for her.

In addition, the Elemental Mastery that this sword gives him will also serve to improve his heals and the damage of his Ultimate Ability; remember that Kuki Shinobu scales his healing and Ulti damage based on his Elemental Mastery (in addition to his Health) thanks to one of his passive talents.

Unfortunately, this sword’s Passive Skill won’t be very useful to us since the damage from Kuki’s Elemental Skill is quite low and therefore won’t be noticeable.

Other characters that take advantage of it:

  • Nilou : If you decide to take Nilou as an activator on a Bloom team she will need a lot of Elemental Mastery and this sword can be a decent choice for her.
