The First Great Number of Magic is the first promotional weapon that comes to us from the Fontaine region in Genshin Impact , it is a quite powerful bow that will greatly benefit those characters who mainly attack with their Charged Attacks.
The stats of this weapon are very balanced and it will help us a lot to increase the damage of the character to which we equip it, but it will only bring out its true potential in teams that have at least two characters that share the same element as their bearer (fortunately, the bearer himself counts as one of the necessary characters), although the ideal would be to have three characters instead of two, since that way we could get the maximum Attack % bonus that the passive of this bow grants depending on the elemental composition of the bow. equipment.
That said, let’s take a closer look at the statistics that this wonderful bow offers us, the effects that we can achieve thanks to its passive, and the best candidates to carry it.
ATTRIBUTES OF THE FIRST GRAND MAGIC NUMBER IN GENSHIN IMPACT
Let’s start with his stats:
- Base Attack Level 1 : 42.
- Base Attack Level 90 : 608.
It has a good Base Attack because it is a five-star weapon, but within the bows of this category it could be said that it has a medium Base Attack, as is the case with other weapons such as the Amos Bow, the Elegy of the End or the Winter Star .
Its secondary attribute is the following:
- Critical Damage Level 1 : 10%.
- Critical Damage Level 90 : 66.2%.
As a secondary stat, the First Grand Number of Magic will grant its wielder 66.2% Critical Damage at level 90, a highly prized stat for Main DPS and some Supports DPS . Interestingly, both in Base Attack and secondary stat, this bow is exactly the same as the Lightning Shaker .
His Passive Skill confers the following effect:
- R1 : +16% to the damage of Charged Attacks. For each character that is of the same elemental type as the wearer (including the wearer) gains 16%/32%/48% Attack and for each character with a different element, gains 4%/7%/10% Speed of movement.
- R5 : +32% to the damage of Charged Attacks. For each character that is of the same elemental type as the wearer (including the wearer) gains 32%/64%/96% Attack and for each character with a different element, gains 12%/15%/18% Speed of movement.
The first part of his passive will strengthen the Charged Attacks of those characters that have this weapon equipped, so it is quite obvious which characters will be able to make use of this bow. In the Arco de Amos we also find a passive very similar to this in its first part, but with slightly smaller numbers.
The rest of the effects of the passive give us two different types of bonuses depending on the composition of our team: Attack bonuses and Movement Speed bonuses. This last bonus gives us quite the same, but it will be very interesting to bring two additional characters of the same elemental type as the bearer of this bow to increase his Attack by 48%.
WHAT CHARACTER DO I PUT IT ON?
This arc is intended for those characters who have the role of Main DPS and whose skill kit focuses a lot on their Charged Attacks:
Lyney will be able to easily achieve the 48% Attack% that this bow confers, since he must always be accompanied by two other Pyro characters on his team in order to increase the damage he inflicts on enemies affected by said element; this is what makes her able to take advantage of this weapon more than any other archer.
It will also serve to increase the damage generated by his Charged Attacks, which are the main source of his damage and we will be executing them frequently, so it will be great for us to be able to enhance this type of attack.
This bow can be very useful for Ganyu in Frozen teams (or Melted if you take it with Diona or Layla replacing Zhongli as squire), since we can accompany her with another Cryo Element character so that this bow gives her 32% Attack permanently.
It is not profitable for us to force a third Cryo character into the team, because it will be much more profitable to have an Anemo character as a fourth member to lower the Elemental Resistances to Hydro and Pyro than to obtain a 16% Attack % for our team. ganyu.
In addition, it is a weapon with excellent statistics and with a passive similar to its most characteristic weapon, which would be the Bow of Amos. Therefore, this bow can help us a lot to boost the damage generated by the powerful Charged Attacks that this character executes.
Other characters that take advantage of it:
- Tignari : Of all the candidates, Tignari is the one with the lowest Base Attack and therefore the one who will take the least advantage of the Attack % bonuses that this bow grants (this does not mean that he does badly, but that he will be the whichever benefit is less). Despite this, the statistics, Critical Damage and even the Attack % bonus itself will come in handy, only this character is better empowered with weapons that give him Elemental Mastery .
