The Epistolary Wind Halberd is a 4-star event spear (specifically from version 3.1 of Genshin Impact ) that I intend to analyze today (in fact I already did it because the intro of the post is the last thing I do and I tell you in advance that the weapon is very good).
It’s always nice when they give us free weapons in events because weapons are never too many in this game and also the event itself always allows us to get them at R5 and that’s very key. But, without a doubt, the best thing is when the weapon is good and can be used by several characters; which of course is the case with this spear. So nothing, we go as always with his analysis and with the characters that you could put it on below.
ATTRIBUTES OF THE EPISTOLARY WIND HALBERD IN GENSHIN IMPACT
Let’s start by looking at its attributes:
- Base Attack Level 1: 42.
- Base Attack Level 90: 510.
Its Base Attack is medium if we compare it with other 4-star spears, little more to say about it beyond, as always, giving some examples of other weapons that have this same amount of Base Attack, such as The Capture or the Spear of the Dark Crag.
Let’s take a look at his secondary stat:
- Attack % Level 1: 9%.
- Attack % Level 90: 41.35%.
It has a very decent amount of Attack, a statistic that is not at the critical level but is still very and is very versatile since there are many characters that need this statistic .
The Passive Skill grants the following effect:
- +12% Attack and +48 Elemental Mastery for 10 seconds after performing an Elemental Reaction. +24% Attack and +96 Mastery in R5.
Very good passive since its activation is so ridiculously simple that it is almost like giving us the effect for free (perform a single Elemental Reaction in a game based on Elemental Reactions ) and that many characters can also take advantage of because Attack and Elemental Mastery are 2 statistics enough demanded in general terms and at least in my opinion the good weapons are precisely those that can be used by many characters.
WHAT CHARACTER DO I PUT IT ON?
That said, you could really put it on many characters since many take advantage of Attack % and Elemental Mastery; however, I would highlight the following:
Not for nothing does this spear come along with Cyno ‘s departure as a character, it has been done that way precisely because the weapon suits him quite well. And it is that Cyno is a character that benefits a lot from Attack and Elemental Mastery (since his thing is to take him in teams with Dendro of Intensification) and therefore this will be a very good 4-star option for him.
Xiangling is one of the characters that takes advantage of Attack and Mastery the most because of the tremendous damage she has in compositions where we make her vaporize her Pyronado hits and therefore this spear is a very good option for her. The Capture is still better, but if it’s being used by another character like Shogun Raiden , then you could put the Epistolary Wind Halberd on Xiangling.
Shenhe might surprise someone because Elemental Mastery isn’t something I usually take advantage of since it’s often used in Permafrost compositions , teams where Elemental Mastery isn’t very relevant except for the Anemo character on duty like Kazuha . But, if we ignore the Elemental Mastery, it is a weapon that gives us a lot of Attack% and that in the end is what she needs the most in her kit and therefore it comes from fable.
Other characters:
- Rosaria : In Melt compositions it will go a long way to increase her damage and also that of her Melt reactions.
