It is a spear with a fairly low Base Attack that focuses more on increasing the damage caused by Elemental Reactions and increasing the character’s damage while enemies are imbued with certain elements.
With the passage of time it has lagged a bit behind if we compare it with other four-star lances such as Capture , which, in addition to being free, is wonderful; but equally Dragon’s Bane is still useful in certain combinations.
DRAGON BANE ATTRIBUTES IN GENSHIN IMPACT

WHAT CHARACTER DO I PUT IT ON?
Xiangling is without a doubt the best choice for Dragon’s Bane; Thanks to his Pyronado ultimate that has a long duration (especially from C4) we will practically always have the enemies imbued by Pyro so that we will always take advantage of the damage bonus that the Passive Ability gives us.
In addition, if we take Xiangling with a Hydro character like Tartaglia (which is the one that shines the most with her next to this spear), Xingchiu or Kokomi we can take advantage of the Elemental Mastery points that this weapon gives us to increase the damage of our Vaporized (and for this to happen the enemy has to be affected by Hydro, as it will also give us the damage bonus).
Not everyone who has Hu Tao is lucky enough to have the Homa Staff or the Jade Falcon and certainly if we have this weapon at R4 or R5 it can become a good option for our Hu Tao because of the increased damage it provides. the Passive Ability, but keep in mind that Hu Tao isn’t the most Pyro-applying character in the game, so make sure you have a double Pyro on your team or someone who constantly imbues enemies with Hydro.
Hu tao’s Ultimate Ability is known for being one of the most damage dealing and if we manage to trigger a Melt or Vaporize Elemental Reaction taking advantage of the Elemental Mastery of this spear we can reach quite high numbers (in addition, we can even reinforce this stat with characters like Sucrose or with Diona ‘s C6 ).
