IS QUINCY ANCIENT CEREMONY’S SSR WORTH IT IN NU: CARNIVAL?

Recently, a new Gachapon game called NU: Carnival has been released and today we are going to talk about Quincy’s SSR – Ancient Ceremony in this wonderful game.

In this version of him, he will have a kind of Main DPS role that will do the most damage in the group and has one of the most powerful Ultimate Abilities in the game.

On the other hand, he has less Life than other characters and you have to wait many turns to get the Ultimate ready. With that said, let’s take a look at some of the character’s history and stats.

HISTORY

Due to the fact that he possesses a tremendous amount of essence, Quincy has been marked as a dangerous type by the people of the forest. As a result, he leads a solitary existence, living far enough away from the local tribes to stay out of their way, but close enough to provide help if needed.

He is not someone who likes to make conversation, his aversion for things he considers “problematic” often leads him to be misunderstood. His unusually long periods of sleep and quiet demeanor make it very difficult for most to have a close relationship with him.

A mysterious little creature rides on his shoulder wherever he goes. He may not be able to speak, but he does have something like a sixth sense.

CLASS AND TYPE

This Quincy SSR belongs to the Striker class , which is the most abundant in the game and its function is limited to dealing a large amount of damage.

It belongs to the Forest Type (due to its history and way of life, it is logical that in almost all its forms it belongs to it), so it has an easy time defeating Water-Type enemies, but it will be easily defeated by Fire-Type enemies.

STATISTICS

These are the stats for “Quincy – Ancient Ceremony” considering it at level 60, promoted to five stars, and fully developed potential.

  • HP : 7,151
  • ATK : 2,205
  • Battle Power : 18,176

On the one hand, it is the SSR of the starting characters with the highest Attack in the game, but in terms of Health it is somewhat low compared to others.

SKILL SETS

These are all the skills and characteristics that Quincy has, some of them are standard and others are unlockable.

BASIC ATTACK

Perform a powerful blow against a single opponent, dealing damage equal to 125% of their Attack .

ULTIMATE ABILITY – INSTANT ANNIHILATION

  • TOE : 6 turns.
  • Skill Level 1 : 434% Attack.
  • Skill Level 3 : 657% Attack.

Perform a near deadly attack on a single opponent; If your Quincy is well leveled for the phase you play, you will take almost all of the health from the monster you attack with this ability.

ASCENSION PASSIVE SKILLS

We can get up to two passive skills if we promote Quincy (to promote him, we need one or more copies of his SSR or buy its fragments in the store); We will obtain one when we promote it to 3 stars and the other when we reach 5 stars (this is very whale and practically impossible to reach if you spend a lot of money in the Gachapon).

SILENT SEQUOIA

  • Increases Quincy’s Attack by 5% each time he attacks (up to a maximum of 6 stacks).

This passive is tremendous and perhaps the best it has (I’m looking forward to getting it), with this we can make its Attack increase exponentially until we get an additional 30%, which is quite a lot.

TOPAZ ESSENCE

  • Increases the damage dealt of his Ultimate Ability by 33%.

This passive is excellent, since its ultimate is lethal in itself (which will make you knock down practically any enemy with ease).

POTENTIAL PASSIVE SKILLS

To raise Quincy’s potential we will need several items that we can obtain as random drops in different phases of the story, rewards when making expeditions or directly buying them through the store (we will also need a lot of coins to pay for the improvement of the potential).

We will start at Tier 1 and we will be able to reach Tier 12, the requirements are quite expensive but with patience we can get them perfectly and we will unlock a couple of Passive Skills in this way; one upon reaching Tier 6 and one upon reaching Tier 12.

ATTACK +

  • Increases Quincy’s Attack by 10%.

Not that it’s the best passive in the world and so far the whole set is based on improving his Attack, but it’s not bad either.

PARALYSIS IMMUNITY

  • Quincy becomes immune to paralysis.

In our fights we will find enemies like Kuya that from time to time will paralyze us for a turn; Well, with this passive we will make Quincy a good option to fight when we have to face a challenge with these types of annoying enemies.

Anyway , as we can see, for the moment it is the top Striker of the moment, as happened with Diluc when Genshin Impact came out (as always happens in Gachapon games , they will release characters that will leave this one behind).

But the truth is that it puts cakes like bread and I strongly recommend you to shoot for it, since it will make it much easier for you to complete the phases of the game.
