IS KUYA FALLEN LEAVES SSR WORTH IT IN NU: CARNIVAL?

Today we are going to analyze the SSR of Kuya – Fallen Leaves in NU: Carnival ; It is about a Kitsune as ingenious as perverse that he uses his bad arts to achieve all his purposes.

His role in this SSR is based on hindering the enemy by decreasing heals, paralyzing and if you are lucky enough to have the fifth ascension you will even reduce their Attack.

The only thing wrong with him is that he doesn’t do much damage with his Basic Attack but not even his Ultimate has a very long TOE, so this character has a good balance so we’re going to see a little bit about him.

HISTORY

Kuya is a Kitsune spirit from the Wood Territory, years and years of exposure to the essence have transformed Kuya into a human form. He always puts a vile smile on his face and delights in following all the desires of his heart. He will use any method to accomplish his goals, no matter how immoral they may be, and he also especially enjoys manipulating others to achieve his goals.

He has a talent for creating illusions and wicked traps, often using these tricks to test the resolve of his unwitting targets. Despite having lived for generations, he still enjoys seeking out new experiences – only disliking the unpleasant feeling of boredom.

CLASS AND TYPE

The Kuya Fallen Leaves SSR is within the Saboteur Class ; Within this class we will find characters that weaken, paralyze or hinder the enemies in some way.

It belongs to the Dark Type , so it will be a good asset against Light Type enemies but at the same time this type will also be the Achilles heel of the Dark Type (so if you take someone of this class against Light Type enemies Luz, it would be a good idea to include someone in the Guardian Class team to deflect the attacks).

STATS OR ATTRIBUTES

Let’s take a look at the stats of «Kuya- Fallen Leaves», as always considering it at level 60, promoted to five stars and with the potential developed to the maximum.

  • HP : 7,791
  • ATK : 2,028
  • Battle Power : 17,931

He has a good balance between his Life and his Attack, although he especially excels in his HP (the only initial SSR that beats him in this stat is «Olivine – Holy Confession».

SKILL SETS

Now we will see the set of skills and characteristics that Kuya can have, some of them will be as soon as we have them and others we will have to unlock.

BASIC ATTACK

Attack all enemies using 50% of their Attack and reduce enemies’ healing by 50% (for 2 turns).

It certainly doesn’t do as much damage as Quincy Ancient Ceremony’s SSR could do with its Basic Attack, but in battles with multiple enemies it can do a lot for us.

ULTIMATE ABILITY – THE MIST DIMENSION

  • TOE : 4 turns.
  • Skill Level 1 : 124% Attack.
  • Skill Level 3 : 173% Attack.

Performs an attack that deals 173% of Kuya’s Attack damage to all enemies; we will also have a 25 chance of causing paralysis to each enemy hit with this skill during a turn (this probability will always be the same even if we increase the level of the skill; the truth is that it seems a bit low to me).

ASCENSION PASSIVE SKILLS

As with Quincy as we saw before, through ascensions (either with copies of this SSR or with the fragments of the SSR that we can acquire in the store) we can obtain a total of two passive abilities, one when ascending Kuya to 3 stars and the other in the fifth ascent.

DEVILISH ENTOURAGE

  • Increases the Attack of Kuya’s allies in the party by +8% (up to a maximum of 3).

This passive makes it enhance the Attack of the members of the group, it does not contribute anything to him but it will help us to make the heals of the Healers heal a little more and that the Strikers hit harder-

AMETHYST ESSENCE

  • Using the Ultimate Skill will reduce the Attack of all enemies by -15% (this effect cannot be stacked).

It’s great for us to get us out of trouble in very complicated phases, since we can reduce a little the damage of all the enemies that are hit by the Ultimate Ability.

POTENTIAL PASSIVE SKILLS

As we explained before, in order to perform the potential increases we need to obtain various objects through different phases of the story, rewards when making expeditions or directly buying them through the store.

One of the Passive Skills that we get in this way will be unlocked when we reach Tier 6 and the other we will get when we reach Tier 12.

ATTACK +

  • Increases Kuya’s Attack by 10%.

Almost everyone has this ability in this ascension, it’s nothing special really.

PARALYSIS IMMUNITY

  • Kuya becomes immune to paralysis.

In our fights we will find enemies like Kuya that from time to time will paralyze us for a turn; Well, with this passive we will make Kuya a good option to fight when we have to face a challenge with these types of annoying enemies.

It is the same one that Quincy Ancient Ceremony has in this ascension; although it stands to reason that he would have this trait, as both his and his enemy’s SSR in-game causes paralysis (so it makes a lot of sense for them to be immune to this condition).

In general, it seems to me to be a very valuable ally because it will bring us several benefits : each turn it attacks it will inflict damage on all enemies and will make it easier for us to defeat them, it can paralyze the enemies in a way that helps us reduce the damage received and, on top of that, reduces the healing of the enemies.
