IS KAGOTSURUBE ISSHIN WORTH IT IN GENSHIN IMPACT?

IS KAGOTSURUBE ISSHIN WORTH IT IN GENSHIN IMPACT?

Kagotsurube Isshin is a four-star sword that we can acquire for free in Genshin Impact without having to participate in an event.

In order to obtain it, all we have to do is unlock the Kaedehara Kazuha Legendary Mission and after completing it they will give it to us as a reward. Throughout this mission we will be able to test Kazuha with this sword, but it will not be in its final form and will reduce the character’s damage by 50% (so do not take into account the damage generated in that test).

If I’m being completely honest with you, it’s a sword that isn’t too good and it will be an optional to the Flute more than anything (but at least it will serve to give something to those people who don’t have many weapons on their account yet).

KAGOTSURUBE ISSHIN’S ATTRIBUTES IN GENSHIN IMPACT

Let’s start by looking at its attributes:

  • Base Attack Level 1: 42.
  • Base Attack Level 90: 510.

As far as Base Attack is concerned, we find a sword that is within the average of the four stars, as is the case with the Lion’s Roar , the Black Sword or the Long Royal Sword.

  • Attack % Level 1: 9%.
  • Attack % Level 90: 41.3%.

Its secondary stat will give us Attack % (which is very common in swords) in a moderate amount that, together with its Base Attack, makes it a fairly balanced weapon; if we compare this weapon with the Flute we will realize that in statistics they are identical (so if you don’t have it on your account, it can be a good substitute).

Its passive effect is as follows:

  • Landing a Normal, Charged, or Downward Attack on an enemy will create a burst that deals Area Physical Damage equal to 180% of the weapon’s wielder’s Attack and grants them a 15% increase to their Attack for 8 seconds (this effect lasts for 8 seconds). can activate once every 8 seconds).

The first part of his Passive Ability is very similar to that possessed by weapons such as the Celestial Scroll, the Eye of Insight, or the Celestial Pride ; they will simply give us a blow that generates Physical Damage in an area while we make Normal, Charged or Descending Attacks.

The other effect of its passive is to increase the user’s Attack by 15% compared to its base Attack, which we will not be able to improve since this weapon cannot be refined (in my opinion, this increase falls short, but After all, it is a free weapon).

WHAT CHARACTER DO I PUT IT ON?

In this sword we are not looking for any specific profile so it can be a Main DPS or a Support DPS, the important thing is that we make a Normal Attack before executing the Elemental or Ultimate Ability of the character to activate the passive effect of the sword and perform greater damage.

Kaedehara Kazuha in Genshin Impact

Honestly, it is a weapon that does not quite fit with Kaedehara Kazuha , since it is oriented to use it as a Main DPS and with this we will lose potential when granting Elemental Damage bonuses to our teammates, since what interests us most in Kazuha is getting the most Elemental Mastery .

For this reason, the Iron Thorn far exceeds this option for him, although in a strange case in which we take Kazuha in a double Anemo and double Geo team, equipping him with this sword may work for him (since in this case we will not be able to create Elemental Damage bonuses).

Kamisato Ayaka in Genshin Impact

Ayaka possesses a very high Base Attack and will generally always be in the Main DPS position executing Normal and Charged Attacks on the field; This is possibly why she is one of the characters that can get the most out of this weapon, since she is completely oriented to increase the Attack of her user and she will be the character that receives the most from this weapon.

However, Ayaka has problems with Energy Recharge and the Twin Sword Amenoma is a much more flattering option for her as a F2P option (since it is a priority for her to have her Ultimate always ready, since it is the most lethal thing about Ayaka) .

Qiqi in Genshin Impact

Although Qiqi works as a Healer in our team, she needs to make Normal or Charged Attacks to regenerate the life of our teammates with her Elemental Ability and also her heals scale based on her Attack, so this sword is a good option for her.

Generally Qiqi is used with the Flute (we have already mentioned that it is an option very similar to this) and it may even be a better option in his case due to the increase in Attack that the passive effect of Kagotsurube Isshin gives us.

Other characters that also take advantage of this spear:

  • Ayato : The Black Sword is a very good option for him and much better than this sword, but in case you don’t buy the pass it can become a valid option for him.
  • Keching : In the event that you decide to run Keching with a Physical Damage build, this is a good four star weapon option for her.
