by The Warhammer is an Elden Ring weapon oriented towards Strength Build characters (to no one’s surprise) that is very worthwhile if you are one of those who prefer hammer/mace over a good sword (I’m from the Greatswords team, but the truth is that the hammer is very cool).
I must say that it is a very good weapon and that on top of that we can get it in a relatively simple way (you will have to kill a boss, but this one in particular is quite simple) at the beginning of the game; equipping it will already cost a little more because it requires a lot of Strength to use. It has good damage, and a good scaling in Strength; although of course it is somewhat heavy and not too fast (because what has to go to Strength, come on). But beware, it’s not really that heavy for what it is, I’m telling you that I’m going with the Greatsword of Guts and I have to go almost without armor for now because of what that mastodon of Greatsword weighs (it weighs 23).

Looking at his base damage, it’s not too high; Don’t get me wrong, it’s fine, but at least compared to other Force weapons it’s a bit lower. Without going any further, the Oathsworn Greatsword has a little more base damage, and is a fairly simple and “light” greatsword.
Where if it wins is that it has a good scaling in Strength (in that it would even surpass the Great Ax ), which in the end is what interests us and for that reason it seems to me to be a very good weapon. Ideal to put Ash of War with heavy affinity to further improve its scaling in Strength. What is true is that it requires 26 Strength to use it, which is not that much, but because of this we will not be able to use it until we go up a few levels.
His protections and such are fine, but the idea of course is not that we block with him. And finally, the truth is that his moveset seems very good to me and for what the weapon is (piece of hammer) the truth is that it doesn’t weigh that much. In short, highly recommended for Strength Builds for hammer teams.
HOW TO GET IT
To get the War Hammer we will have to overcome the Catacombs of Agualóbrega (which you can see in the photo where it is, in that river that goes north from the Agheel Pond in Necrolimbo) since it is the drop that its boss will give us: which is called Duelist Guardian of the Tombs (I link the guide of this boss).
The boss is quite simple, everything is said; In fact, I would say that the dungeon is something more damn than the boss himself because it has traps and those enemies that are like mini gargoyles that the truth is that they are very annoying and personally I must say that I hate them a lot (they are fast, elusive, they They hide to catch you by surprise, they make you bleed, they usually go in a group…), I don’t know what you will think of them.
