IS GARU MASTER'S GIFT SSR WORTH IT IN NU: CARNIVAL?

IS GARU MASTER’S GIFT SSR WORTH IT IN NU: CARNIVAL?

This time we bring you a post about the SSR of Garu Master’s Gift in NU: Carnival ; Garu is a spirit wolf with a split personality and these are complete opposites (which will give Eiden more than one headache).

The truth is that they have not eaten much head with this SSR, it is a Striker that does damage in the area but apart from that it does not contribute much to the group.

The good thing is that one of his Ascensions gives an attack bonus to the group and that the area damage is very useful in waves with many enemies, but be careful with his Life because it is a bit low.

HISTORY

A wolf spirit that became a man. Having lived his entire life in a wasteland, Garu has never known family life. After his homeland became part of the Dead Zone, he began following a wandering old man from whom he learned to speak and think like a human.

Simple in nature and unrefined, his previous experiences of living from food to food have caused him to adore practically every morsel of food. After the death of his former teacher, he began to talk to himself to practice his ability to speak, and finally, in those wild and unforgiving conditions, a completely different second personality awoke deep within his heart.

CLASS AND TYPE

Garu Master’s Gift SSR is included in the Striker Class ; as we saw in the case of Quincy Ancient Ceremony , it is a class focused on dealing damage (DPS).

This Garu SSR is a Dark Type ; As you already know, this class is weak against Light-Types, but at the same time, Light-Types are weak against Dark-Types (not missing a good Healer or Guardian if we go against the opposite type).

STATS OR ATTRIBUTES

These would be the statistics of this Garu SSR, as always considering him at level 60, promoted to five stars and with the potential developed to the maximum.

  • HP : 7,258
  • ATK : 2,170
  • Battle Power : 18,108

It’s one of the lowest Health starting SSRs in the game but makes up for it with the second strongest Attack in the game, so it’s not bad at all.

SKILL SETS

Now we will go on to analyze all the skills and characteristics of Garu’s set, those that he already has as standard and those that we can unlock.

BASIC ATTACK

Attack in an area, hitting all enemies in the wave for 63% of their Attack damage to each opponent.

It’s exactly the same as Kuya Fallen Leaves , only Garu uses 13% more Attack than Kuya but we lose the debuff Kuya provides.

ULTIMATE ABILITY – INDOMITABLE SLASH

  • TOE : 4 turns.
  • Skill Level 1 : 142% Attack.
  • Skill Level 3 : 173% Attack.

Perform a strike that deals damage to all enemies for 203% of Garu’s Attack; I find this last one a bit poor because it doesn’t do anything else, nor is there much difference with the damage that Kuya does, that he can at least provide paralysis (the good thing is that, that we have another character that hits in the area and everything adds up) .

ASCENSION PASSIVE SKILLS

As with Quincy and Kuya as we saw before, through ascensions (either with copies of this SSR or with the fragments of the SSR that we can acquire in the store) we can obtain a total of two passive abilities, one when ascending Garu to 3 stars and the other in the fifth ascent.

ME… AND THE OTHER ME

  • Increases the Attack of Garu’s allies in the party by +8% (up to a maximum of 3).

In this case, the passive ability is the same as Kuya Fallen Leaves and will boost the Attack of all the members of the group except Garu himself; it doesn’t do anything for him but it will help us to make Healers’ heals heal a bit more and Strikers hit harder.

MOONSTONE ESSENCE

  • Increases Garu’s Attack by 25%.

Unsurprisingly as a Striker, his set is well versed in increasing his Attack to deal more damage (yet it’s true that the passive above also makes it a bit of Support).

POTENTIAL PASSIVE SKILLS

As we explained before, in order to perform the potential increases we need to obtain various objects through different phases of the story, rewards when making expeditions or directly buying them through the store.

One of the Passive Skills that we get in this way will be unlocked when we reach Tier 6 and the other we will get when we reach Tier 12.

ATTACK +

  • Increases Garu’s Attack by 10%.

The same that everyone has at the moment in this ascent, nothing new.

PARALYSIS IMMUNITY

  • Garu becomes immune to paralysis.

In our fights we will find enemies like Kuya that from time to time will paralyze us for a turn; Well, with this passive we will make Garu a good option to fight when we have to face a challenge with these types of annoying enemies.

I know it’s the same passive as Quincy and Kuya, but I promise you there are other different Passive Skills, even if it doesn’t look like it. The good thing is that since there are so many characters like this, it will be very easy to fight against someone who causes paralysis because it will practically not affect almost anyone.

The truth is that this SSR doesn’t quite convince me and I think there are other much better ones, but it can be a good asset to have on your team if you have another character that deals damage in an area and a single target Striker like Quincy Fallen Leaves to delete enemies quickly (the only thing left for you to do is ensure a good defense).
