IS BLADE EXPLOSIVE RECALL SSR WORTH IT IN NU: CARNIVAL?

IS BLADE EXPLOSIVE RECALL SSR WORTH IT IN NU: CARNIVAL?

Today we bring you a new addition to the NU: Carnival cast and it’s the SSR from Blade Explosive Works that has just landed in this game along with Chapter 8 of the story.

Blade is a kind of android with a very endearing personality in my opinion; he is not able to understand things that are common sense and that makes it a bit difficult to deal with him, but he is very loving and attentive in his own way.

In terms of design, it seems to me one of the most beautiful at the moment and I find it quite curious that despite being an offensive character he also has characteristics of Support class characters (even if only for himself).

HISTORY

An e-droid from an unknown land, Blade faithfully carries out each of his “missions” from his home deep within the Dead Zone. He possesses excellent combat ability, yet he has a childlike and innocent personality such that he frequently honestly states his thoughts and emotions.

He doesn’t have an iota of common sense, so Blade loves collecting cute objects and reading all kinds of books from which he can learn about human knowledge and emotions.

CLASS AND TYPE

Again we meet another Striker Class SSR ; Much like Quincy Ancient Ceremony’s and Garu Master’s Gift’s SSR, Blade is DPS oriented.

Blade Explosive Recall’s SSR belongs to the Light Type just like Olivine Holy Confession’s, so it will be very useful to damage Dark-Type enemies but it will also be quite vulnerable against them (try to deflect the attacks of the enemy to another ally if you engage with enemies of this type).

STATS OR ATTRIBUTES

These would be the statistics of this Blade SSR, as always considering it at level 60, promoted to five stars and with the potential developed to the maximum.

  • HP : 6,937
  • ATK : 2,277
  • Battle Power : 18,322

He has even lower Health than Garu Master’s Gift’s SSR which isn’t very good for a Light-Type character for my liking but he makes up for it with tremendous Attack, so he’ll be a bit Canon Glass.

SKILL SETS

Next we will see all the characteristics and abilities that Blade can have, those that it already brings and those that we must unlock.

BASIC ATTACK

With this Attack he hits a single enemy dealing damage equal to 125% of his Attack.

Which is why it works exactly the same as Quincy Fallen Leaves , even the numbers match.

ULTIMATE ABILITY – EXECUTION STYLE

  • TOE : 3 turns.
  • Skill Level 3 : Blade deals 12.5% additional damage (2 stacks max) / Attacks a target for 273% of his Attack.

It’s very curious because he’s the first Striker in the game to buff himself when performing his Ultimate Ability; on the one hand, when casting it, its total damage will be increased by 12.5% and this effect can be obtained up to a maximum of two times (that is, if we use this skill twice in the same combat, we will have a 25% extra damage which is a lot).

and on the other hand when launching the ultimate we will also deal a powerful blow that will do more than double the damage it does with its Basic Attack (yes, it is not close to the damage of the Quincy Fallen Leaves ultimate).

ASCENSION PASSIVE SKILLS

When it comes to promoting this Blade SSR (either with copies of this SSR or with the fragments of the SSR that we can acquire in the store) we can obtain a total of two passive skills, one when promoting Blade to 3 stars and the another in the fifth ascent.

E-DROID SYNERGY

  • Increases the Attack of Blade’s allies in the party by +8% (up to a maximum of 3).

We repeat the same passive that Kuya’s and Garu’s initial SSRs have; this will make it boost the Attack of all the members of the group except that of the Blade itself, which does not contribute anything to itself, but it will help us to make the heals of the Healers heal a little more and that the Strikers hit harder.

ROCK CRYSTAL ESSENCE

  • Increases Blade Attack by 25%.

Being a Striker, it is normal for him to have this passive ability in his set, but at least the one before it makes him also provide some support to the group.

POTENTIAL PASSIVE SKILLS

As we explained before, in order to perform the potential increases we need to obtain various objects through different phases of the story, rewards when making expeditions or directly buying them through the store.

One of the Passive Skills that we get in this way will be unlocked when we reach Tier 6 and the other we will get when we reach Tier 12.

ATTACK +

  • Increases Blade Attack by 10%.

The same that everyone has at the moment in this ascent, nothing new.

PARALYSIS IMMUNITY

  • Blade becomes immune to paralysis.

And once again this passive ability is repeated, which we already have so seen at this point (already with Blade we have four characters that have this same characteristic).

But if it is true that in the new chapters of the story we can see more and more enemies in the game that inflict this condition and it does not hurt to have some other character that has immunity to paralysis (after all if they neutralize your Main DPS you are going to be a little sold).

It seems to me a good SSR to carry in your team since its Ultimate Ability has very little waiting time and in addition to doing a lot of damage it is capable of empowering itself quite a bit, the only downside that I see is that it is somewhat low on life but It is also not insurmountable.
