This time we bring you the build of Xianyun , a Genshin Impact character who stands out for enhancing the Downward Attacks of all team members while also being able to generate healing for them. This is somewhat reminiscent of Chevreuse , as he also acts as a Healer and Buffer at the same time.
I have to admit that this character is a bit niche because there aren’t many characters in the game whose main source of damage is their Down Attacks and therefore he won’t be a very versatile character. However, Xianyun can increase characters’ jumping ability with her skills, so she will also be useful for characters whose Down Attacks have good damage numbers.
Therefore, she is a character who has a very clear Support role , although this can change if you decide to take her C6, since with this she will become the Main DPS of the team, in which she can use her Elemental Skill of constantly (since she will not enter TdE after using her Ulti) and will be able to boost herself the damage of her Downward Attacks.
Xianyun Stats
Xianyun’s statistics bear quite a similarity to those of Yae Miko . These are the ones she has when she raises her to level 90:
- Base Life : 10,409
- Base Attack : 335
- Base Defense : 572
- Attack % : 28.8%
Defensively, her statistics are very low and that makes her a rather weak character (the good thing is that she won’t spend much time on the field). However, she shines a lot in her Base Attack, since this parameter is unusually high and she competes directly with that of characters like Navia or Kamisato Ayaka .

Talents or Skills
Let’s look at your talents or abilities.
Normal Attack: Word Flowerwind
Xianyun’s Normal Attacks attack at long range, as do Yanfei ‘s .
- Normal Attack : A combo of 4 consecutive attacks that deal Anemo Damage.
- Charged Attack : Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to concentrate energy and launch a ring of wind that travels a distance to impact enemies and deal Anemo Damage.
- Descending Attack : We will hit the ground causing a blow that causes Anemo Damage in the area.
Elemental Skill: Skycrane
- TdE : 12 sec.
- Ability Damage : 44.64% (level 10).
- Cloud Wave Damage : 208.8%/266.4%/607.68% (level 10).
- Hunting Crane Damage: Third Jump : 607.68% (level 10).
When using this Elemental Skill, Xianyun jumps into the air and enters a special state that will nullify her fall damage. When performing this jump we will do a little Anemo Damage to the enemies that are near Xianyun, we can jump up to three times for each use of his Elemental Skill.
Additionally, Xianyun’s Falling Attack will be replaced by a Cloud Wave, so when we try to perform a Falling Attack after using this Elemental Skill, Xianyun will turn into a crane and impact the ground to generate Anemo Damage to enemies.
The damage of this Cloud Wave will increase depending on the number of times Xianyun has jumped while using his Elemental Skill . Finally, mention that if we use this Elemental Skill to jump but do not perform a Falling Attack, its ToE will be reduced by 3 seconds.
Ulti: Twilight Stars
- Energy Cost : 70
- Duration : 16 s.
- TdE : 18s.
- Ability Damage : 194.4% (level 10).
- Bamboo Star Damage : 70.56% (level 10).
- Healing : 165.89% Attack + 1271.22 (level 10).
- Continuous Healing : 77.41% Attack + 593.23 (level 10).
When Xianyun uses her Ultimate Skill, she deals Anemo Damage to nearby enemies and will heal all team members in proportion to their Attack. In addition, we will also invoke a gadget called Bamboo Star that will accompany us until the end of the duration of this Ulti. This gadget has the following functions:
- Restores the Life of the character who is active on the battlefield periodically (if we are playing in multiplayer, it will also affect nearby players).
- It will give us 8 charges of an effect that significantly increases the jumping ability of the active character on the battlefield.
- When performing a Falling Attack, we will consume one of the previous charges and the device will perform a small attack that will cause Anemo Damage in the area.
This Ultimate Skill is undoubtedly the most interesting thing about Xianyun’s skill kit, since it will allow any character to attack with Falling Attacks on a recurring basis.
Passive 1: Cloudy Breeze
By hitting enemies with the Cloud Wave that is created when Xianyun executes a Falling Attack during her Elemental Skill, we will increase the Critical Chance of Falling Attacks of all nearby characters on the team by 4/6/8/10% for 20 seconds.
This Critical Chance ratio will depend on the number of enemies we have hit with this attack. It’s just a little extra help to make sure we land a greater number of critical hits with this type of attack, but it doesn’t seem too good to me either.
Passive 2: Like an Adeptus in his Abode
As long as Xianyun’s Ultimate Skill gadget has charges of its effect, the damage of all team members’ Down Attacks will increase their damage by an amount equal to 200% of Xianyun’s Attack. The maximum damage increase for this type of attack is 9,000 points (to do this we would have to get Xianyun to 4,500 Attack points , a rather complicated task).
It is a quite interesting Passive Talent that will allow us to greatly enhance the damage of our allies’ Downward Attacks, the only bad thing is that this increase in damage will only be applied to one enemy, so it will not be very useful in combats against multiple enemies .
Passive 3: Incarnation of the Crane
If we take Xianyun in the team, the flight speed when gliding will increase by 15%.
It is not a particularly useful Passive Talent, but at least we can get to places a little faster when planning.
Constellations
Let’s now see everything we can achieve through its Constellation:
- C1 – Winds of Destiny : Allows you to have one more charge of the Elemental Skill.
- C2 – Hermit Squawk : Xianyun will gain +20% Attack for 15 seconds when jumping with her Elemental Skill. In addition, the effects of his Passive Talent “As an Adeptus in His Abode” are boosted and the damage increase for the team’s Charged Attacks is now boosted based on 400% of Xianyun’s Attack (and the damage increase limit is changed to be 18,000 points instead of 9,000).
- C3 – Lunastral Creations : Increases the Ultimate Skill by 3 levels, it can be increased up to 15 levels.
- C4 – Wonders of Sorghum : Depending on the number of jumps we make with Xianyun’s Elemental Skill, when hitting an enemy with the Cloud Wave that is generated when performing a Descending Attack, all nearby team members will receive a proportional healing at 50/80/150% of Xianyun’s Attack.
- C5 – Arrebol Sky : Increases the Elemental Skill by 3 levels, it can be increased by up to 15.
- C6 – Cloud Guard : Depending on the number of jumps Xianyun executes with his Elemental Skill, the Critical Damage of the Cloud Wave will increase by 15/35/70%. Additionally, for 16 seconds after using his Ultimate Skill, Xianyun’s Elemental Skill will not enter ToE.
The Best Build for Xianyun ( Support Healer )
In the case of _ their Passive Talents. It will also be very important to get a high amount of Energy Recharge in your build , since it will be crucial to always have your Ultimate Skill recharged.
Best Weapons for Xianyun
These are the catalysts that we recommend equipping Xianyun:
Crane Reverb
+16.54% Attack. When the wielder of this weapon hits an enemy with a Down Attack, the damage of this type of attack increases by +28% for 20 seconds. When we hit an enemy with a Falling Attack, the wielder of this weapon will recover 2.5 points of Elemental Energy.
Heavenly Scroll
+33.08% to Attack %. +12% Elemental Damage Bonus. After attacking with a Normal Attack there is a 150% chance to summon cloud grace, which will chase enemies for 15 seconds to deal 160% of the bearer’s Attack damage.
Eye of the Oath
+27.6% Attack. +24% to Energy Recharge for 10 seconds after using the Elemental Skill.
Hakushin Ring
+30.63% Energy Recharge. When the wearer generates an Elemental Reaction with Electro, the characters that are of the elements involved in this reaction will gain a +10% Elemental Damage Bonus for 6 seconds.
Earthly Padlock
+49.62% to Attack %. +20% to Shield Protection. +4% Attack after attacking an enemy (maximum 5 stacks). The Attack increase provided by the stacks is doubled if we are under the protection of a shield.
Wine and Poetry
+30.63% Energy Recharge. After attacking with a Normal Attack, -22% to the Stamina cost when sprinting or using a substitute ability. When sprinting or using a substitute skill, +20% Attack for 5 seconds.
Favonius Codex
+45.94% Energy Recharge. 60% chance to generate elemental particles when landing a Critical Hit.
Best Artifacts
Regarding Artifacts and their set:
- Helmet : Energy Recharge or Attack%.
- Clock : Attack %.
- Chalice : Attack %.
As substats we look for the following:
- Priority : Attack %, Attack and Energy Recharge.
- No Priority : Critical Chance and Critical Damage.
And to finish, your Artifact Set , we have the following options:
They are from yesteryear
2 Pieces: +15% Healing Bonus. 4 Pieces: When healing, the amount of Health recovered will be recorded for 6 seconds (including overhealing). After this, the character in use will increase the damage of his Normal/Charged/Descending Attacks and his Elemental and Ultimate Skills in proportion to 8% of the registered Life (15,000 Life maximum). This bonus is removed after being activated 5 times or after 10 seconds.
The effect of the two pieces of this Artifact Set will not hurt us at all to increase the healing of Xianyun’s Ultimate Skill, since the healing potential of this is much lower than that of Jean ‘s Ulti . In addition, the four-piece set will allow us to further enhance the damage produced by our teammates’ attacks, so we will also improve their buffer role .
Emerald Green Shadow
2 Pieces: +15% Anemo Damage Bonus. 4 Pieces: +60% to Whirlwind damage. -40% to the Elemental Resistance of enemies for 10 seconds of the element that the Whirlwind has.
This option is also quite valid for Xianyun, since her Ultimate Skill generates small blows that cause Anemo Damage, which will allow us to reduce the Elemental Resistances of the enemies by generating Whirlwinds. It won’t increase your healing potential, but at least it will allow other characters to deal more damage (although this artifact option will be valid or not depending on your team composition).
