FACELESS GUIDE, CHISEL OF OBLIVION IN BLASPHEMOUS 2

FACELESS GUIDE, CHISEL OF OBLIVION IN BLASPHEMOUS 2

Well, well… well, we already have Blasphemous 2 here  and I think that no one will be surprised that we have decided to make a guide for this game. After all, I think that few sites that make content for the Spanish-speaking community have put as much work into the first Blasphemos title as we have. The truth is that we were looking forward to this second installment!

The case, today I bring you the first guide and of course it is the first boss ( Faceless, Chisel of Oblivion ) since again after a few minutes of play they have already put a boss in our faces, something that the truth is which was already waiting for me. Those things are cool to me, so I’m glad they’ve done the same thing again in that sense.

Anyway, I’m getting confused… The truth is that the boss is quite simple (he hits good beatings to be the first, yes), although it is true that the first boss of the first Blasphemous was also quite simple (for that reason of being the first and such). But hey, be that as it may, I bring you the guide to defeat this boss in the easiest way possible as usual around here. Let’s go there!

LOCATION IN BLASPHEMOUS 2

Little mystery really, but I will leave this point anyway to maintain a structure in all the boss guides of this game.

Just as you start, you see moving forward and after a few minutes you will end up running into Faceless, there is no way to get lost. The only relevant thing is the issue of the decision of the Penitent’s weapon … it seems that this may be changed in the future, although at the moment we do not know how. In my case I have chosen the two-handed weapon (Verdict) and the truth is that for the moment it is coming to me phenomenal. What weapon have you chosen?

HOW TO DEFEAT FACELESS, CHISEL OF OBLIVION

Next we go with the guide to defeat him. We’ll start by looking at their attacks in detail with various tips for dodging/countering and that sort of thing; After this, I will give you some advice regarding the best strategy to defeat him. In this case, the boss is quite simple and it won’t do much, but anyway, we have to guide all the bosses without exception.

ATTACK GUIDE

These are Faceless’s attacks and how you must act to deal with each of them:

  • Simple Charge : The typical charge attack in which the enemy quickly shoots towards us to hit us, we can easily detect it because it will raise its disk a little before doing so. It is an attack that it makes from the ground and moves horizontally towards us. Very easy to dodge, just jump when he does and that’s it.
  • Jump + Discus Throw : The attack that interests us the most since doing so is when he opens a large gap that will allow us to attack him a bit safely . He will jump, remain suspended in the air for a while, and after that he will throw his record at us. You want to be a little away from him to have a little more reaction time between when he throws the disc at you; as soon as I throw it you do a dashtowards his direction (when throwing the puck it will fall to the ground) or even a jump backwards (it works a little less, but it is still possible) and this is the perfect moment to attack him in a beautiful way. The disc will stick to the ground and after this it will go towards its bearer (the boss), so we will have to hit it as it approaches and when it is going to hit us we jump in the opposite direction of the boss to avoid taking damage.

STRATEGY AND TIPS

The best strategy is basically to keep some distance and dodge his attacks waiting for him to launch the “Jump + Disc Throw”, which is the moment in which we can land some hits calmly on him.

Never attack him, attack him only in that gap in his defense that is created just when he throws the disc and between when it comes back . If you follow this strategy, the battle will be extremely easy.

Oh, sure, and don’t forget that you have a couple of Bile Flasks to heal yourself, although if you follow this strategy you probably won’t even need them. Anyway, the best time to heal is right after you dodge his charge or again in that time frame between when the disc returns to him (although if you want to heal, you don’t need to get between the boss and the disc). , jump back when I throw it, you heal up and that’s it, easier).

REWARDS

This is what we will get by defeating him:

  • 500 Tears of Amends : It is the amount that was given to me, in theory this number can vary depending on how many times you have died. In my case I died once because before really defeating him I made one more try to see exactly all of his movement kit while I was writing and so on.
  • 1 Mark of Martyrdom : An object that we will be getting that allows us to increase the capacity of the Table of Favors, a new game mechanic that will allow us to equip certain objects to obtain certain advantages.
