The Farming Fairy is a Fairy that can appear randomly in one of those special events that can occur when you go to sleep after a hard day of work on the Stardew Valley Farm .
This being will appear on your Farm very occasionally, but it is quite likely that you will end up seeing it, although it is true that you will have to be quite lucky to do so. In any case, if you play often it will be quite rare that you don’t end up seeing it. In my case, in the game I am playing now it has already appeared twice and right now I am in Summer of the first year.
In this post I will explain to you how rare it is for this Fairy to appear on your Farm and what exactly it does, which I already told you that you are quite interested in seeing it appear.
WHAT DOES THE APPEARANCE OF THE CROP FAIRY DEPEND ON?
As I mentioned, it depends purely on luck. When you go to sleep, the game rolls a series of dice to determine if any special events will occur that night. In the case of the Crop Fairy, the probability of her event being activated during the night is only 1% , so in my case it seems that at the moment I am having quite lucky since on average it would be normal for you to see her 1 time per 100 days of the game.
That would be so if it weren’t for the fact that there are some conditions to take into account:
- The event will not activate if it is raining, it seems that the Fairy does not like getting wet.
- It will not be activated in Winter either since there will be no Crops to cast her Spell on (below I explain what she does and you will understand it better) or perhaps it is because it is cold and the Fairy prefers to be in her house with the heating and the blanket like We all like it on those dates.
- Likewise, the event will not take place if all your Crops are in their maximum growth phase.
Now I will explain to you what exactly she does with our Crops, luckily she is a nice Fairy and what she does is good.
WHAT DOES THE FAIRY DO TO THE CROPS?
When the event is activated, you will see how it goes towards one of your Crops (it chooses it randomly), casts a kind of spell on it and after that it runs off to its house or wherever. When you get up and go to check your Crops, you will see that all the Crops near the one who cast the spell (and himself) will have reached maximum growth, so you will be able to collect them immediately.
Here you can see it clearly since it cast its spell on my Melons and as you can see, the ones on the right are already in their final growth phase while the ones on the left still have a lot left.
His Spell will specifically affect the Crop he cast the spell on and also all Crops that are two squares away from it (as you can see in the photo, diagonal squares of distance also count). My Fairy went out with bad aim and cast the Spell on the side; He would have been much more profitable if he threw it through the center, but I won’t complain about it either since at the end of the day he is doing us a favor and it would be ugly.
In addition to this, as a fact, you should know that the Fairy cannot choose a Crop of Wild Seeds, but… she will make them reach their maximum growth if they are two squares away that we have already mentioned previously regarding the Crop at to cast the Spell on him.
