THE GREAT SEPTIMUS, "HARMONIOUS CHORUS" IN STAR RAIL

THE GREAT SEPTIMUS, “HARMONIOUS CHORUS” IN STAR RAIL

The Great Septimus, “Harmonious Chorus” is a Weekly Boss of Honkai Star Rail that we can find in Colonipenal. As in the fight against Cocolia , in this one we will also have an additional action that will allow us to summon the express to generate a powerful area attack that will be quite effective in reducing the enemies’ Firmness bar.

The most important thing in this fight will be to bring characters who are very good at breaking the enemies’ Strength bar and who generate quite high damage when generating Weakness Breaks, since this enemy has multiple bars of weakness and when breaking them We will obtain shields that will protect us from all the damage it will cause.

During the first two phases of this battle, the enemy will be backed by four enemies called Echoes of Past Dreams. These do not inflict much damage, but they are very annoying, since when they attack us they will always delay the next action of one of our allies. Therefore, we have to focus on causing them a Weakness Break as soon as possible.

In its last phase, it can generate an attack that can annihilate us very easily if we do not manage to destroy several of its Firmness bars so that it generates shields with which to protect ourselves. So, as you can see, everything in this fight is related to Weakness Breaks.

WEEKLY BOSS UNLOCK AND LOCATION REQUIREMENTS

Unfortunately, in order to fight against the Great Septimus, “Harmonious Chorus” we will have to defeat him twice during the main mission of Pathfinder in Colonipenal called ” in our era ” and have finished the act completely.

Location of Great Septimus, "Harmonious Chorus" in Honkai Star Rail

As for its location, to challenge the Great Septimus, “Harmonious Chorus” we will have to go to the Great Theater of Colonipenal. The Echoes of War door of this Weekly Boss is called ” Tribute of the Ashen Dream ” and is located at the north end of the theater.

ATTACK GUIDE

The combat is divided into 3 phases:

PHASE 1:

These are all moves that Great Septimus will execute in his first phase:

  • Eat a Sogno : When starting the combat the enemy will summon four Echoes of Past Dreams, the damage generated towards these units will be received by the Great Septimus. Every time the bar breaks
  • Grazioso : An attack that deals a small amount of Imaginary Damage to a single ally.
  • Maestoso : Generates Imaginary Damage in the area to the entire team.
  • Vaneggiando : A move that has a high chance of affecting an enemy with the state called Strange Sleep. During this state, the affected ally will not be able to act, they will only recover a little HP each time it is their turn, but they will receive much more damage while under Strange Sleep (this state dissipates when taking damage).
  • Accelerando : The enemy will simply enter a recharge state to cast Voltegiando on their next turn.
  • Voltegiando : This powerful attack that will cause all Echoes of Past Dreams that have not suffered a Weakness Break to attack an ally. If all Echoes of Past Dreams have suffered a Weakness Break, the attack will be canceled and everyone will restore their Strength bar. When generating a Weakness Break on Septimus himself or on any of the Echoes of Past Dreams, the action of Great Septimus will be delayed. Additionally, every time we eliminate one of their Strength bars, we will get a special shield that will absorb all the damage received by the entire group until it breaks.

PHASE 2:

It is practically the same as in the previous phase and retains the movements of this one, only now a shield can be generated and instead of using Voltegiando as its most powerful attack, it instead uses another one called Tempestoso:

  • Allargando : When executing this movement the enemy will create a shield exactly the same as the one generated when we break one of their Firmness bars. While this lasts, your damage dealt will increase, you will take less damage, and your Steadiness bar will not be reduced.
  • Accrescendo : Great Septimus will enter a recharge state to cast Tempestoso on his next turn.
  • Tempestoso : Unlike Volteggiando, this powerful area attack that the Great Septimus will launch cannot be canceled (unless we cause a Weakness Break before he launches it). Additionally, each Echo of Past Dreams that can act will deal Imaginary Damage to all of our allies.

PHASE 3:

In this phase we will no longer have to deal with the Echoes of Past Dreams and the Great Septimus will suddenly have a weakness to all types, but do not think that this will make it easier, since he can easily eliminate us with his attack «In the Beginning It was the Action.

  • In the Beginning was the Word : When using this movement the enemy will enter a recharge state and after seven turns, will execute “In the Beginning was the Action”.
  • The Work of Creation : During this state, we will not be able to delay the enemy’s action and will act after the action of each of our allies. Every time we break one of its Firmness bars, we will get a shield that will absorb all the damage we receive until its destruction.
  • In the Beginning was the Action : This attack generates an exaggeratedly high Imaginary Damage that will affect all allies and ignore their Defense.

WEAKNESSES OF ENEMIES AND RECOMMENDED CHARACTERS

Great Septimus has a weakness against the following Types:

  • Fire .
  • Ray .
  • Imaginary .

However, it has resistance to the following state:

  • Control State .

While Echoes of Past Dreams have these weaknesses:

  • Fire .
  • Ray .
  • Imaginary .

The key to defeating this enemy lies in using Supports that greatly increase the Break Effect of our characters and DPS with skills that greatly reduce the Strength bar and that generate a lot of damage by causing Weakness Breaks. It will also be relevant to bring characters who attack in the area, since in this way we can lower the Firmness bar of the Echoes of Past Dreams while generating damage to the boss himself.

Two characters that stand out a lot are Asta and Welt , since both will be of great help when it comes to lowering the Firmness bars of the enemies and while Welt can delay and imprison the enemies, Asta can alleviate the delay that they apply to us with their attacks by increasing the Speed of our units with their Ultimate Skill.
