by I am quite excited to make this post since today we will talk about the “Sealed Envelope” mission , which in my opinion is the most interesting mission in all of Blasphemous 2 ; They have really worked hard and I love this type of things.
It’s a bit like the typical treasure hunt in which we have a clue that leads us to a new clue and so on “x” times until we reach that coveted treasure. It is a quite complicated mission to complete without the use of a guide because we will have to do quite strange things, things that you would probably never think of doing and even reading the clues… it is quite difficult to figure out what the resolution would be.
In addition, this mission provides us with incredible rewards, specifically the most broken Canto in the entire game. Anyway, below I will give you more details about what this Canto in question does in case you are curious. Let’s go with the step-by-step guide then!
LOCATION OF THE FIRST SEALED ENVELOPE
To start with this interesting mission, we will have to get the First Sealed Envelope, we will find it in « Calles de los Velatorios » right where I mark you in the photo above.
Getting there doesn’t have much of a mystery, but keep in mind that you will definitely need the “Protection of the Kindred” Skill (that of the Cherubs with rings), it is the last Skill that we will get for Penitent. If you don’t have it, here is the guide with the location of all the Skills .
We will have to use this ability to reach the area that I indicated and to break the wall that covers it, you know, a plummet blow with Prayer to the Dawn.
SOLUTION TO THE FIRST PAGE OF THE CURSED LETTER
Interact with the envelope (you can do it from the objects menu) to be able to read the letter inside and you will see that it says the following:
Dear anonymous eyes:
If you are reading these lines, it is because your curiosity has been stronger than your will. You have dared to open this sealed letter, thus committing a serious crime, illegitimately taking possession of what it contains and which is nothing other than my curse. It is already yours, as the sin has been yours.
With these words written in black ink I curse you to follow in my footsteps, the same ones that I followed from another sinner, and this one from another, and from another, perpetuating this curse.
The first step of those who seek redemption lies in performing an act of humility. To do this you must look for the largest mirror, humble yourself before your reflection, look into your eyes and ask for forgiveness.
The largest mirror is found in this location in “Dos Lunas”:
In the guides I have commented several times about how ugly some arrows look, but be careful with this one, I got a tremendous arrow without looking for it.
You will have to stand in front of the mirror (on the little mountain on the left) and stay crouched for a while (not for long). After this you will receive a new envelope, interact with it to read the new page of the letter (you always have to read the letters, don’t forget that step).
SECOND PAGE SOLUTION
This is the content of the new letter:
…And looking for some quiet corner to reflect on my sins, I came across an ancient sacred place that seemed abandoned. In it I found a large pit in front of which I remained until a sudden breeze coming from that dark hole surprised me. That breath carried delicate violet petals that heralded a terrible scream, a terrifying moan that chilled my skin and paralyzed my body.
Who could scream like that?
Now you will have to go to the “City of the Holy Name” and leave Penitente still right where I left him in this photo:
You will recognize this area very well since you have probably passed through it a thousand times to access the city’s teleportation portal or to reach some NPCs such as the Lady of the Chalices. Stay right on the cliff to the right of the NPC’s door that restores guilt.
THIRD PAGE SOLUTION
This new page contains the following message:
… I walked lost and desperate through that gloomy place where the air remained motionless and I found an old bell that lay broken on the ground next to one of the many walls that I had encountered on my way, threatening that that place would have no exit. . From my frustration only blows with my rod were born.
But I don’t know how it happened, that those now dull sounds that had once been the most beautiful, made me feel more awake… More animated and attentive, unmasking a passage behind the shadow of that bell. A way out, finally…
Next we will go to “Madre de Madres” in the location that I marked for you:
There you will find on the right, attached to the wall, one of those broken bells that some enemies in the game carry on the ground. Hit it several times and a new path will open in the wall. Inside you can pick up the next envelope.
FOURTH PAGE SOLUTION
This is the next clue:
… That decrepit and gnarled old man then raised his eyes from the ground and blurted out: “If you passed beneath his skull, a disembodied relic that he still scrutinizes with his last living eye like a sad cyclops, once, you must do so twice more…
We return to “Holy Name City”, but this time we will go right to the door of Regina’s Trade (the merchant NPC who is an arm):
You will see that on the door to enter his store there is a kind of skull symbol above it. What you have to do is go from right to left of the door (without entering, you have to pass in front of the door) several times until you get the new envelope.
LAST PAGE SOLUTION
This is the last step and this is the new clue:
…My redemption, my forgiveness… Everything is useless. This endless pilgrimage no longer matters. The sacrifices, the prayers, the supplications don’t matter… Now I understand it. The Miracle will not listen to someone like me, I am nothing…
If I cannot obtain forgiveness, all that remains is death, which awaits me at the bottom of this high cliff. The curse will soon be over, for nothing of me will remain.
The fresh sea breeze will comfort me, give me strength, finally, to finish it.

After this we literally jumped into the void . After this a message will appear that will say “The curse of the Unforgiven has been lifted.” and shortly after we will obtain the juicy reward for completing this tremendous mission.
REWARD: FOLLOW THE MEMORY OF YOUR EYES
“Follow the Memory of Your Eyes” is an extremely powerful Chant as it greatly facilitates battles in the game. By activating it we will basically stop time for a few seconds (Za Warudo!) while Griever will be able to continue moving and attacking, so we will be able to cause a lot of damage to enemies in an extremely simple way. Along with the right build, you can kill bosses in seconds thanks to this Chant; It is without a doubt, the best Song in the game. It will help you a lot if Eviterno is giving you problems (the most difficult boss in the game).
