by The Amakumo Fruit as its name suggests arises from the Amakumo plant which grows only on Inazuma’s Seirai Island in Genshin Impact ; it is said that if you bring it close to your ear it is possible to hear the electrical current that crackles inside.
We can recognize it by its bluish petals and its lavender-colored fruits. They are somewhat reminiscent of Stormsensors, as they are the same size and have a similar shape. In addition, they grow in places where there is electro energy (in fact, we will find many Storm Perceivers on Seirai Island while looking for our fruits), so it is not unreasonable to confuse them at a certain distance.
Unlike other specialties, we can find up to a total of 126 Amakumo fruits; which is a very beastly quantity (it is only surpassed in quantity by the Cor Lapis and the Bells of Glass ). That is, in two raids we can have enough to promote a character to the sixth ascent to spare.
WHAT IS THE AMAKUMO FRUIT FOR IN GENSHIN IMPACT
The Amakumo Fruit is used as ascension material for the following characters:
- Raiden Shogun .
At the moment it would only be this, but we can assume that in the future it will serve for more characters.
HOW TO GET NARUKAMI FRUITS
As we have mentioned before, we can only find the Amakumo Fruit on Seirai Island, although in order to collect them without dying from the damage caused by lightning and the continuous damage that occurs in the electro zone, we must carry out the following mission:
QUEST: SEIRAI’S STORMCHASER
To activate this mission we simply have to visit Katherine (the one from the Adventurers Guild) in Inazuma and we can start it. Once this is done, we head towards Seirei Island from the Tatarasuna breakwater embarkation point.
Basically we have to help repair a temple and activate the four sacred stones that we found by Seirai. In each sacred stone we have a lower and an upper stone adorned with strips of paper that are surrounded by three rods, to activate them we must orient the papers of our stones towards each rod so that they add up to the same pieces of paper (if the rod has 3, we must have two papers on the lower stone and one on the upper one, for example); if you don’t want to eat your head, I recommend that you rotate the upper stone four times and the lower one in a loop until they activate (it works, you’ll see).
Once this is done, we will unlock the Manifestation of Thunder (it is a boss very similar in aesthetics to the Oceanid ) and once we defeat it we will be able to explore the island calmly without losing life as it happened in the forge of Tatarasuna.
So let’s see where we can find the highest concentration of Amakumo fruits:
AMAKUMO SUMMIT
As we can see on the map, Amakumo Summit is the area where we can find almost all the Amakumo fruits that are in Inazuma. Once the mission mentioned above is done, we just have to circle around the summit and we will find them quite easily (we will also find quite a few Stormsensors along the way, so two for the price of one).
HIRAUMI BASTION AND KOUSEKI VILLAGE
Honestly, there are very few fruits in this area, but if you are desperate to climb the Raiden Shogun, it is a good way to obtain some fruit without having to do the mission ; however, throughout this island we will find enemies in every corner, which will make it take us much longer to complete the route.
Finally, to the right of the Amakumo summit we have the last eight fruits next to a Hilichurls camp.
