by The Cristaloptera are beings in Genshin Impact formed by elementary particles that took this form due to the condensation of the elements. By catching one of them, we will obtain a Crystal Core.
Depending on the region in which we find ourselves, the Cristaloptera will be of one class or another. In Inazuma the Crystalloptera we find are Electro while in Liyue they are all Geo element (The only exception is Dragonspine which has Cryo Crystalloptera due to extreme weather).
Although we really don’t care what type it is, since at the end of the day they all give us the same thing (unless you look for them as decoration or for collecting purposes); what you have to keep in mind is that they are very elusive beings and when you get closer than necessary, they will flee if you are not fast enough.
And one last detail before we see its possible uses; when picking up a Crystalopter all the others that are close to it will flee in terror. But don’t worry, if you teleport back to the site in a while, they’ll reappear and you can try again.
WHAT ARE CRYSTALOPTERA FOR IN GENSHIN IMPACT
We will mainly use them to synthesize concentrated resin, but that does not mean that they have other possible uses.
SYNTHESIS: CONCENTRATED RESIN
This is what we are almost always going to use the Crystal Cores for , either because we want to save time or if at some point we don’t have time to play and we want to store our resin so as not to lose it and be able to spend it another day.
- 1 Crystal Core.
- 40 Original Resin.
By using Concentrated Resin we will obtain greater efficiency when claiming the rewards in Domains or Ley Flowers. To obtain the recipe that allows us to synthesize Concentrated Resin you must reach at least reputation level three in Liyue.
And as always use an alchemy table that you can find in any city you go to or you can make and have your own in the Teapot Relax .
SYNTHESIS: ANTIFREEZE POTION
This potion will increase the resistance of our group to the Cryo element by 25% for 300 seconds (unfortunately we cannot use it in the abyss, so its only use would be in some event that is complex for you or for those who have problems in the earlygame).

SYNTHESIS: WINDBREAK POTION
Exactly the same as the Antifreeze Potion description, the only thing that changes Cryo resistance to Anemo resistance .

FORGE: POT OF THE GOURMET ADEPTUS
It is a portable pot that allows us to cook in any corner of Teyvat ; but be careful because if you go into combat mode, it will be destroyed.

- 2 Iron Pieces.
The blueprint to craft this item is obtained as a reputation reward in Liyue upon reaching reputation level five.
HOW TO GET CRYSTAL CORES
Well, we simply have to approach a Cristalopter and capture it carefully so that it doesn’t escape (as long as you have the connection that I have, you’re fine). Below we will see some of my favorite routes where we will find a lot of them.
WIND LIFTER
It is one of the most comfortable locations to do because we have a statue of the gods attached to the side of the Cristaloptera; in this location we can obtain up to a total of five Cristaloptera.
DAWN VINEYARD
This is my preferred location without a doubt, since if we count between those that are in the vicinity and those that are in the vineyard itself, we have a total of 20 Crystaloptera .
Another advantage that this area has over others is the fact that they are far apart from each other, so we won’t scare the rest by capturing one.
GUYUN STONE FOREST
Very similar to the location in Upwind, we teleport to the Archean Petra Domain and Meteor Retreat and already meet the Crystaloptera in our face.
TIANHENG MOUNTAIN RANGE
It’s a bit tedious to get to but it’s worth it, because the Crystalptera being trapped inside the cave will have a harder time escaping from you.
To get there we have to teleport to the teleportation point that is just outside of Liyue City and go north until we run into a group of Hilichurls and Samachurls that will hinder us. If we go up a little higher we will find the hole to enter the cave.
AOZANG MOUNTAIN
Just jump from the Aozang Mountain teleportation point and go north to collect these Crystalloptera and from there continue with the route shown in the image.
ASASE SHRINE
If we surround the surroundings of the Asase Shrine of our beloved Neko, we can find a total of six Cristaloptera.
HIRAUMI BASTION
This route is also very simple, since we have a very close teleportation point and then we just have to go online to the rest.
In general, there are a lot of Crystalptera on Seirai because a lot of Electro element particles have been condensed on this island.
RELAXTEAPOT
With the Net of Supreme Ubiquity it is possible to capture the Crystalopters and adorn our Relax Kettle with them. The truth is that it is worth the attempt because they are very successful and also by catching a Crystallopter in this way we will win the following achievement:

SAYU
I’d also like to mention one of Sayu ‘s Passive Talents called Technique «Whooo!»: Secret of Stealth.
This talent allows us to get close to Crystalloptera and other creatures without scaring them while Sayu is on our team, which is great for trapping them with the Web of Ubiquity or hunting them.
But keep in mind that it really isn’t that good for farming Crystal Nuclei, because by capturing one we will continue to scare away the rest.
