LOCATION OF CORIOLUS IN WUTHERING WAVES

LOCATION OF CORIOLUS IN WUTHERING WAVES

The Coriolus (no idea of the genre but anyway, since it looks like a mushroom I’ll say it’s “the Coriolus”) is one of the ascension objects that some of the characters in Wuthering Waves need , you know, the typical objects that we have to collect around the world.

It is a species of grayish mushroom that is only found in two very specific areas, although luckily it is quite easy to find since they have a trick and that is that they are always found on roots/trunks of trees and so on since I imagine they need to be on wooden surfaces to live.

In this post , as usual, I will show you the location of this ascension material with images, explanations and I will also tell you which characters use it to ascend. Let’s go there!

WHICH CHARACTERS USE CORIOLUS

These are the characters who currently need this item for their ascension:

Yinlin in Wuthering Waves

Yinlin

Support DPS that deals a lot of area damage. It can deal good area damage even when off the field. He can boost the damage of Electric element characters who have good damage through his Resonance Release.

Mortefi in Wuthering Waves

Mortefi

Tremendous 4-star Support DPS that can deal a lot of damage while off the field and can also greatly enhance the damage of the Charged ATK of the character you switch to after him.

Lingyang.

LOCATION OF CORIOLUS

Roots on which Coriolus usually stands

As I mentioned, Coriolus is always found on roots/trunks… etc., wooden surfaces, that is . Knowing this will help you a lot to locate them quickly.

GIANT BANYAN

Coriolus on Giant Banyan

Giant Banyan is the area where you will find the largest number of Coriolus (in fact, here are practically all the ones you can find in the game), the bad thing is that as you see in the photo above, these are separated into different areas with a relative distance between them.

Let’s start with the ones to the north of the photo:

My recommendation is that you first go to the teleport in the upper central part of the photo (the one that is attached to the edge of the photo) and from there you go down the cliff and pay close attention since once you are at the bottom you will find a pair of Coriolus on what appears to be a huge broken root in the ground. If you now continue along the path to the east, surrounding the river, you will find more Coriolus on a kind of half-mushroom tree or something like that.

Now continue forward along the path towards the Southeast and you will see a huge root that creates a lower arch that you can pass through, well a little before passing under this root, look to the left and you will see 2 more. We continue towards the south to find the next ones, which are a little further away this time, you will find them again in some roots.

To continue with the northern ones (then we go to the southern ones), go now to the teleport in the central area and from there look towards the Northeast where you will see a root with some dry trees where you have a pair of Coriolus for a change. Continue in the same direction to find another pair on some… well, you know, I already sound redundant.

You have the last ones at the top a little further to the Southwest, with the image and the trick of looking for the roots you will find them easily.

Now those of the South:

Go to the teleport that is south of the photo and continue south until you go down a cliff where you will see the mythical roots with Coriolus again. From there look for a very nice tree where you will find the last ones in the area (note that there are 3 in this tree, not 2 as usual).

FORBIDDEN FOREST

Coriolus in the Forbidden Forest

This area is located Northeast of the Giant Banyan , specifically in the Forbidden Forest and as you see we also have a few Coriolus around here. Go to the teleport that you see in the photo and head towards the South, they are all quite close together and little mystery since they are again on roots/trunks of broken trees… etc.
