IS “UNDER THE BLUE SKY” WORTH IT IN HONKAI STAR RAIL?

IS “UNDER THE BLUE SKY” WORTH IT IN HONKAI STAR RAIL?

” Under the Blue Sky ” is a four-star Cone of Light that belongs to the Path of Destruction in Honkai Star Rail ; It is characterized by granting a medium ATK % bonus to its wearer and increasing its CRIT Prob. under certain circumstances.

This Cone of Light is a decent alternative for those characters who don’t quite adjust to the ” The Moles Welcome You ” passive or who need a very high amount of CRIT Prob. in their build , since offensively speaking, this Another Cone of Light grants more than double the ATK% of “Under the Blue Sky”.

In any case, it is a Cone of Light that, despite being mediocre, can be very useful for certain characters whose best Ornament Sets require a very high amount of Critical Chance to activate their passive effects (it can be a solution if we have very bad artifacts and we barely have CRIT Prob. on said character).

ATTRIBUTES OR STATISTICS OF “UNDER THE BLUE SKY”

Let’s start by looking at its basic attributes, keep in mind that we will give you the data that it has at level 80 (the maximum):

  • HP : 952
  • ATK : 476
  • DEF : 330

Now let’s go with the passive, which is what really interests us:

  • S1 : +16% ATK. +12% CRIT Prob. for 3 turns when defeating an enemy.
  • S5 : +32% ATK. +24% CRIT Chance for 3 turns when defeating an enemy.

By equipping this Cone of Light to any Path of Destruction character, they will gain +16% ATK% permanently, which will allow them to increase the damage of their abilities if they scale based on said attribute.

When the wielder of this Cone of Light defeats an enemy they can increase their Critical Chance by 12% for 3 turns . This is very useful in battles where there are many enemies, but can be difficult to maintain in single target battles if the boss does not summon subordinates from time to time.

Therefore, we should generally use this Critical Chance as an extra and not depend on it to have a mediocre ratio in said statistic, since there are some scenarios in which we may not be able to count on it throughout the battle (it can also become a problem if we play by car).

WHAT CHARACTER DID I EQUIP IT TO?

Actually, we can equip it to the character we want, since the “Under the Blue Sky” passive can be adapted to practically any character in this Path, although there are some characters in which it will work better than others:

Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae in Honkai Star Rail

The damage of Dan Heng – Imbibitor Lunae’s abilities are based on the amount of ATK% that this character has, so it will not hurt to equip this Cone of Light to enhance this attribute.

On the other hand, he is a character with whom we will constantly use his enhanced Basic Attacks and that is why he is usually equipped with the Shimmering Sand Ornament Set . This requires a Critical Chance rate that is too high and the passive of this Cone of Light can help us achieve it.

With this character it will be very easy to maintain the Critical Chance bonus as long as there are small enemies, since his potential Basic Attacks are lethal and he also attacks enemies adjacent to his target.

Blade in Honkai Star Rail

Blade also takes advantage of the ATK% that this Cone of Light provides but to a lesser extent than Imbibitor Lunae, since the damage of his abilities is based more on the amount of HP that Blade has than on his ATK, but, despite To this end, it will be useful to us.

This character also benefits a lot from the Shimmering Sand Ornament Set, since his main source of damage is also his boosted Basic Attacks, so he will also benefit a lot from the CRIT Prob. that this Cone of Light can provide.

He will also have no problems eliminating enemies whenever there are any, since his Basic Attacks also hit adjacent enemies and both his Ultimate Skill and his Additional Attacks hit all enemies on the field.

Other characters who can take advantage of this Cone of Light:

  • Physical Pathfinder : You can use it, since it usually also attacks adjacent enemies, but it does not have as much damage as the previous characters nor does it require as much Critical Chance. In this case, it is better to equip him with “The Moles Welcome You” because it gives him a greater damage increase and fits very well with his passive.
  • Hook : The same thing happens to the Physical Pathfinder, it is better for him to have “The Moles Welcome You” equipped to enhance the damage of his abilities.
