This time we are going to analyze a somewhat extravagant five-star catalyst both in name and appearance, it makes its arrival in version 3.3 of Genshin Impact and its name is Reminiscence of Tulaytulah .
It is a catalyst with a very high Base Attack that is very focused on improving the Normal Attacks of its users, since on the one hand it increases the Attack Speed to be able to deal a greater number of hits in the shortest possible time (especially if we put it together with the set of artifacts called Epic of the Desert Pavilion) and also considerably increases the damage of Normal Attacks.
The thing is that this weapon is quite pigeonholed for Main DPS who constantly perform Normal Attacks, who are fast when performing them and spend a moderate time on the battlefield, since we will have to spend some time on it to get the bonuses for our Attacks normal.
ATTRIBUTES OF TULAYTULAH’S REMINISCENCE IN GENSHIN IMPACT
Let’s start by looking at its attributes:
- Base Attack Level 1: 45.
- Base Attack Level 90: 674.
To begin with, we have some of the most powerful Base Attacks among the five-star catalysts, as well as the Celestial Scroll , so in this parameter it is great.
- Critical Damage Level 1: 9.6%.
- Critical Damage Level 90: 44.1%.
Its secondary stat offers us 44.1% Critical Damage ; having so much Base Attack leaves us with a somewhat lower secondary Critical Damage stat and four-star books like the Marauders Symphony have this higher stat, but it’s still a good secondary stat and it’s not bad at all.
Tulaytulah’s Reminiscence Passive Skill grants the following effects:
- Increases Normal Attack Speed by 10% (20% on R5).
- When using an Elemental Skill the damage of the Normal Attack will increase by 4.8% every second for 14 seconds and when hitting an enemy with a Normal Attack it will increase again by an additional 9.6%; the damage of Normal Attacks can only be increased by 48% in this way.
- When the character equipped with this weapon leaves the battlefield the bonus to Normal Attacks will be lost and if the Elemental Skill is activated again, the bonus will be reset.
The Passive Ability of this catalyst is entirely based on improving Normal Attacks; On the one hand, it gives us a little increase in the Speed of Normal Attacks and after using the Elemental Skill, it will give us an increase in damage for these basic ones.
Although this damage bonus supposedly increases his damage by 4.8% every second for 14 seconds and by 9.6% when hitting with a basic, we have to take into account that his damage increase limit to Normal Attacks is 48 % in R1 . So around 6-7 seconds we will get the maximum possible bonus and it will stop increasing.
WHAT CHARACTER DO I PUT IT ON?
This catalyst has a very high Base Attack and its Passive Ability is very oriented to make many Normal Attacks at high speed and increase their damage, so we will equip it to some Main DPS that does a lot of damage with its basics.
As expected, it is a very good weapon for the Wanderer, since both his most characteristic set, his C1, and this weapon are very focused on increasing Attack Speed, an area in which this character is one of the most outstanding in the entire world. play.
In addition, the damage of Normal Attacks will also increase a lot as time passes on the battlefield and in a few seconds we can achieve the 48% that the Passive Ability of this catalyst gives it quickly and easily.
So if we combine this catalyst with the Desert Pavilion Epic set we can increase our Wanderer’s Attack Speed by 20% and increase the damage of his Normal Attacks by 86%. In addition, both increases are very durable and we can take advantage of them between 14 and 15 seconds (the catalyst buff lasts 14 seconds and the set 15).
Another character that takes advantage of this catalyst is Shikanoin Heizou , since his combat style is also very fast and with his C1 the Attack Speed is also increased (which is obviously much more affordable than the Wanderer’s); the problem is that with his basics he does significantly less damage than Wanderer.
Obviously the Critical Damage will be great for us and the high Base Attack that it gives us can compensate for the lack of this parameter in Heizou. Also, as a character who spends so much time on the battlefield and hits so fast, it will be very easy for him to get the biggest bonus to Normal Attacks in a few seconds.
Also, thanks to the release of characters like Faruzan and the Desert Pavilion Epic artifact set, Heizou can focus more on his role as a Main DPS rather than being a DPS Enabler. And remember that although his basics are much weaker, he has a set of abilities that do a lot of damage (especially if we have many of his Constellations).
Other characters that we could equip it to would be:
- Yanfei : It can be useful to her due to the high Base Attack that will compensate for her lack of it and the Critical Damage will not hurt her either and since she is fast performing basics it can come in handy in that sense, the problem is that the most damaging of Yanfei are his Charged Attacks.
- Klee : It’s the same case of Yanfei, except that Klee has a much higher Base Attack but is slower performing his Basic Attacks.
