The Sentencer is a five-star Claymore in Genshin Impact that has the appearance of an axe, it stands out for greatly enhancing the Attack of its bearer while increasing the damage produced by its Elemental Skill.
This weapon undoubtedly has quite attractive statistics and will offer its bearer a large amount of Attack, but unfortunately, its passive does not quite suit many characters and they will not be able to take advantage of its full potential. However, it will still be a good option to equip simply because of the stats it offers.
Something that we have to keep in mind is that if we want to activate the effects of this weapon, it will be essential to have at least one Geo Element character in the team, since we will need to create multiple Crystallization fragments on a regular basis to be able to activate the weapon multiple times. increased damage to the Elemental Skill conferred by his passive.
ATTRIBUTES OF THE SENTENCER IN GENSHIN IMPACT
Let’s start with his statistics:
- Base Attack Level 1 : 47.
- Base Attack Level 90 : 674.
The Sentencer’s Base Attack is quite high compared to most greatswords we have in the game, sharing the position with the Celestial Pride . Of course, it does not surpass the Ode of the Pines , whose Base Attack is exaggeratedly high.
Its secondary attribute would be the following:
- Level 1 Critical Chance : 4.8%.
- Level 90 Critical Chance : 22.05%.
As expected, having such an exaggeratedly high Base Attack, its secondary statistic is quite reduced when raised to level 90, therefore, it will only grant a +22.05% Critical Chance for its bearer (a bit low to be a five-star weapon, since there are other four-star Claymores that provide more Critical Chance than this).
His Passive Skill confers the following effect:
- R1 : +20% Attack. +18% to Elemental Skill damage for the wielder of this weapon when a character on the team picks up a Crystallization Shard. This effect lasts 15 seconds and can stack up to 2 times, but its effects will dissipate 0.2 seconds after dealing damage with the Elemental Skill.
- R5 : +40% Attack. +36% to Elemental Skill damage for the wielder of this weapon when a character on the team picks up a Crystallization Shard. This effect lasts 15 seconds and can stack up to 2 times, but its effects will dissipate 0.2 seconds after dealing damage with the Elemental Skill.
The Sentencer can increase the damage of its wielder’s Elemental Skill by up to +36% on its R1 if we collect two Crystallization fragments. Therefore, we will need a character like Zhongli or Albedo to help us generate many Elemental Reactions to create enough fragments (unless the wielder himself is able to generate enough on his own).
Another aspect to keep in mind is that we will lose the damage bonus 0.2 seconds after dealing damage, therefore, Elemental Skills that deal damage for a certain period of time will only be benefited on the first hit they deal.
Something very strange about this weapon is that the passive can be activated by any member of the team, something quite positive, since if we had to take the Crystallization fragments with the bearer of the Sentencer, surely we would not activate the passive on some occasions .
WHAT CHARACTER DO I PUT IT TO?
Generally, we will look for a character who benefits from having a very high amount of Attack, who has a fairly damaging Elemental Skill and who usually has a Geo character on his team:
They have gone to great lengths to ensure that only Navia is able to bring out the full potential of this weapon, since she needs to generate a large number of Crystallization fragments to be able to generate massive damage with her Elemental Skill and she can take advantage of the enhancement offered by the passive of this weapon without any problem.
In addition to the great bonus to her Elemental Skill (which already generates quite massive damage in itself), it will give her a fairly juicy amount of Base Attack, which complements her very well, since she is one of the characters with the highest Attack Base on the game and you will get a lot of use out of all the % Attack bonuses you get.
Other characters who take advantage of it:
- Diluc : It is a weapon that does not go badly, since it gives him good statistics and this character will not have any problem being accompanied by a Geo character. The problem that this Claymore poses for Diluc is that the damage bonus for his Elemental Skill can only be used on the first charge, since we lose the effect 0.2 seconds later.
- Fréminet : His Elemental Skill is his main source of damage and could be a very good weapon for him. Fréminet’s problem when carrying this greatsword is that in his team composition it is not very optimal to include a Geo Element character and without this, we will not be able to activate the passive of the weapon.
- Dehya : It could have been an incredible weapon for this character, but since we lose the damage bonus 0.2 seconds after dealing damage with his Elemental Skill, we won’t be able to get much use out of it.
