The Rusty Anchor is an Elden Ring weapon that I really like a lot. Without going into the subject of statistics, that is something that we will delve deeper into in this post as always, in terms of appearance the truth is that I really like it.
It is a huge anchor that is rusty (great fact, I know) with which we can hit enemies (it’s what a weapon has, today the redundancy is over 9,000). But that’s what it is, hitting enemies with a piece of anchor and rusty on top, I don’t think you can ask more of life than this, it’s extremely disrespectful.
And leaving aside how badass it is to go hitting with a huge anchor, on a statistical level it is also very good, a typical heavy weapon for Strength Builds and in my opinion it is worth giving it a try. So nothing, we go as usual with the analysis and location of the weapon.
ATTRIBUTES OF THE GREAT ANCHOR IN ELDEN RING
These are his stats:
- Base Damage level 1: 147 physical.
- Weight: 12.5.
- Critical: 100.
- Protections:
- Physical: 52.
- Magic 36.
- Fire: 36.
- Lightning: 36.
- Sacred: 36.
- Stability: 36.
- Attribute Scaling:
- Strength: c
- Dexterity: e
- Necessary Attributes:
- Force 26.
- Skill 9.
Pretty similar performance to other two-handed axes like Executioner’s Great Axe , with a few points less damage, but the difference is too low to be relevant in my opinion. Similarly, it has a good scaling from C in strength to level 1 which will of course go up through weapon upgrades, Ashes of War (put one with heavy affinity) and so on.
His requirements are also quite low, 26 Strength you get very very easy in Elden Ring. Weight-wise it’s a heavy weapon, but it’s certainly a bit lighter than most of its fellow two-handed axes (I’m comparing it to two-handed axes because the game seems to categorize it as such).
In what I think it comes out ahead of other two-handed or heavy axes (which then the others because each one has its own thing, but you understand me) is that although it behaves like an axe, it has the reach of a huge hammer ; in the sense that what the anchor itself is, well, it ‘s quite thick , and therefore it has more range of “fatness” (I think it’s understood that way) than the others, something that of course comes in handy so that if We hit enemies that are somewhat close together because it is more likely to hit several.
HOW TO GET IT
It is a very simple weapon to obtain, you will simply have to go to the Morne Gallery (which you have the photo with the location above, this is the area that is further south on the map). It’s basically the reward we get for defeating the boss of that dungeon (which is the typical mine, which is cool because they’ll give us Forge Stones and stuff).
The boss in question is called Scaly Bastard , although it should be called Filthy Bastard because he is actually one of the easiest bosses in the Elden Ring; I would tell you that you have the link to the boss guide a little higher up, but come on, I highly doubt that you will need help for such boss bullshit. I’ll leave you the same link, but come on, I already know that you won’t need a guide to defeat him, trust me.
