Today we are going to analyze the Disaster Peacemaker , a 5-star Spear from Genshin Impact that is quite good in terms of effects and that will be especially useful for Shenhe or for other characters that deal damage outside the battlefield that we will mention below. .
The only problem with it is that its passive is a bit specialized (we will also analyze it in depth in this post) and if we want to take full advantage of it, we will have to make a change in the rotation (for characters with Snapshot). It is not that it is something too problematic, but it is something that must be taken into account in order to get the most out of this spear. I will tell you more about this aspect in the recommended characters section because it is much better understood by applying it to a real case.
And nothing, let’s go with the analysis and others.
ATTRIBUTES OF THE DISASTER PEACEMAKER IN GENSHIN IMPACT
These are the stats of the Disaster Peacemaker:
- Base Attack Level 1: 49
- Level 90 Base Attack: 741
From the outset we are facing the lance that for now has a higher Base Attack , something that is very important since based on this, the Attack% will be applied and therefore the higher the base, the more the Attack% will spread. In this sense it is similar to the Ode of the Pines , both have the same Base Attack.
- Attack % Level 1: 3.6%
- Attack % Level 90: 16.5%
You should already know that Base Attack and the secondary stat are balanced, the higher the Base Attack the lower the secondary stat and vice versa; this is especially noticeable on weapons with as much Base Attack as the Disaster Peacemaker. That extra Attack % is great for us, although of course, for this reason, it is lower than normal.
The passive effect is as follows:
- +12% Elemental Damage Bonus (all elements). +24% on R5.
- When casting the Elemental Skill we will obtain an effect that lasts 20 seconds with which we will obtain 3.2% Attack every second (maximum 6 charges). The good thing is that when we are out of the field this attack will be doubled. 6.4% Attack on R5.
As you can see, it is a weapon that will be especially interesting for those characters that keep doing damage outside the field , which surely you have already thought of some.
The drawback that I see, apart from the fact that it does not have anything critical, is that it has a somewhat strange behavior and does not have good synergy with abilities that have Snapshot (which maintain the stats you have at that moment when doing it and these do not change until its completion ). I will explain this better in recommended characters because it will affect our rotation.
WHAT CHARACTER DO I PUT IT ON?
That said, ideally characters that hit outside the battlefield and that are oriented towards Attack (and that are not physical), let’s go with the recommendations:
To no one’s surprise, this is a tremendous spear (the best option) for Shenhe , it comes with his banner for a reason. Shenhe gives more support to the team the more Attack it has, in fact a quite viable build is to take it with all the Attack you can and in this context a high Base Attack is key (plus all the extra attack it gives us, of course). In addition, his Ulti is one of those that stays on the field doing damage and therefore it is phenomenal, but remember that you have to cast the Elemental Skill to activate the effect and its strange behavior will have to be taken into account, which I will clarify for you in the following recommendation.
Xiangling (although I call him Xianlonga, don’t ask) is another of the characters that makes good use of it, but I’ll tell you about the problem with the Snapshot. Xiangling’s Pyronado has Snapshot and therefore when casting the skill we will use the stats that we have right at the time we cast said skill and these are maintained for their entire duration.
So of course, the thing is that if we launch the Guoba, we have to wait 6 seconds to accumulate the maximum attack % (Passive of the Disaster Peacemaker), something that is not very profitable unless you take it from Main DPS, which it’s not common (and we still have to leave the field at some point to get the maximum Attack bonus). Come on, we would have to change the rotation; Xiangling takes out the Guoba, you switch to the other characters (let them do their thing) and after this time (the 6 seconds should have passed) then you go in with Xianling and throw the Ulti. Only then would you get the maximum Attack bonus… let’s see, it’s a bit of a pain, but it is what it is. I don’t know, there are other very good spears like the Jade Falcon or the Reaper’s Lightthey don’t give so many problems and they are also very good.
Rosaria as Support DPS (Main physical DPS is useless) is the third recommendation. I’m not going to go into too much detail here because it’s exactly the same case as Xiangling and we’ll have to do the same rotation change (HE roll, sync sync break, enter and Ulti) to get the maximum Attack bonus.
